SheCodes Basics provided me with a structured and supportive environment to learn the fundamentals of web development. From HTML to CSS, and even an introduction to JavaScript, each lesson built upon the previous one, creating a solid foundation of knowledge. What I appreciated most was the hands-on approach. Every theoretical concept was followed by practical exercises and real-world projects. This allowed me to immediately apply what I had learned, reinforcing my understanding and boosting my confiden.Of course, the journey wasn't without its challenges. There were moments of frustration when my code didn't work as expected or when a concept seemed particularly difficult to grasp. However, the SheCodes community and the responsive support team were always there to help. The encouragement from fellow learners and the patient guidance from instructors made all the difference in pushing through these obstacles. ## The Empowering Results By the end of SheCodes Basics, I had created my very first web page from scratch. Seeing my ideas come to life through code was an incredibly empowering experience. I went from being intimidated by the sight of HTML tags to confidently styling my own web pages and even adding interactive elements with JavaScript.

I have just completed the She Codes Responsive course, and it has been an incredibly enriching experience. I gained hands-on experience with VSCode, learned to manage my code with Git and GitHub, and utilized Bootstrap to build responsive layouts. SheCodes responsive was very challenging but worth it.

Enjoyable workshop! I studied Bootstrap in greater depth and learned how to import it into my project. I discovered how to host a multi-page website using GitHub and Netlify. I learned how to build a responsive navigation bar using a hamburger button menu to toggle between pages. For this specific project, I explored more utility CSS classes and responsive techniques. I also learned how to make my projects responsive using Bootstrap, as well as without it, using only vanilla CSS, HTML, and media queries. I focused intensely on CSS grids, responsive CSS grids, HTML tables, CSS filters, CSS Hero, and how to use HTML embeds. I learned how to embed parts of other websites into my personal website, such as YouTube videos, Instagram posts and Google Maps. Additionally, I learned how to use the console to view my website on different devices, ensuring it was successfully responsive. I love spoken word, so I included a poem in this project. I hope you like it! I had a great time working on this one.

Completing the SheCodes Plus course was a game-changer for me. I developed a fully functional weather app that integrates live data from APIs, mastered advanced JavaScript techniques, and utilized modern coding tools like Git and GitHub. I enjoyed this workshop. I learned new techniques in CSS and HTML, including how to work better with links and how to position elements. I studied advanced Flexbox techniques and learned how to build a multi-page website with links between each page. I also learned how to navigate to a specific section of a page using anchor links and how to create a link to an email so that, when clicked, it opens the email application. I studied in depth how to use CSS variables—specifically, how to declare a variable in CSS so that its value is stored in one place but can be reused multiple times using the pseudo-selector :root. I learned what Bootstrap is, how to integrate it into my HTML document, and how to use its classes. I also learned how to create a responsive navigation. This project was a lot of work, but I completed it!

I am so excited to have completed this course; I was very excited when I started doing SheCodes responsive because I realised that I was going learn how to build an entire responsive website. My instructor jammed packed this course with good and relevant skills to learn how to build a multiple page website with just CSS, HTML and bootstrap. I also got to learn about a design wireframe called Figma and learnt how to turn design into code. I am so excited to practice and perfect my skills in making multiple page responsive websites thanks to SheCodes and team.
