I am very happy to finish the SheCodes Responsive workshop. Here I learned how to work with multi-page sites, and also finally understood how to make a working navigation (I always had problems with this :D). Thank you!
I've really enjoyed the SheCodes Responsive Design workshop. It's been a great opportunity to expand on basic HTML and CSS skills that have already been covered in previous workshops. I am looking forward to continuing the development work on the portfolio.

The Responsive Add-on project is definitely not walking on a cake. It was super challenging. I am learning as well as having fun with codes. Thank you so much Matt and team for always pulling our hands when we are about to drown in frustration. The reiteration of codes in different projects is always giving me confidence to try new codes, fail, rectify until I succeed.
Just like the previous workshops, Matt did a great job at explaining all of the topics which made the workshop very enjoyable and easy to follow. I definitely feel like I've expanded my knowledge and skills in front-end development, through the SheCodes Responsive workshop.

Really enjoyed the structure of the responsive workshop. It was really helpful to write the whole website step-by-step along with Matt and make adjustments at the end. It was also nice to have some old lessons and notes repeated during the building of the portfolio website.
I am so happy because I was able to make my personal webpage and making it responsive by using HTML, CSS and Bootstrap in more advance way. Hurray.

Absolutely loved the Responsive course. I already did SheCodes Basic and Plus, and Responsive is my favorite one so far! Learning all the Bootsrap tricks, deploying the website to Github, transforming a Figma design into code, and improving overall coding skills really make this programming journey rewarding. I learned a lot and really enjoyed creating the Portfolio webpage, so much that I even created two: my personal portfolio page, and an artist page. The course is very well constructed β the instruction videos by Matt are concrete and easy to follow, and are a really clear explanation for the corresponding homework assignments. When getting stuck, it was really easy to reach out to tutors and get all the help I needed on Slack, a special thanks for that!
Highly recommend to everyone who are looking to quick learn all possible means to build a resourceful and responsive website.

I had such a fun week during the Responsive add-on. I felt I was able to learn something very useful through the real life project which I really love to design, color etc. I can get more creative with these skills and enjoy coding everyday. I don't know what is coming for the React add-on weeks however, I believe I will be happy to learn more!

I couldn't really stop coding and finished the course much earlier than planned π After only the first two course weeks with CSS, HTML and Bootstrap I had the confidence to start building my own website as a side project. Responsive workshop was super fun! I had a great time creating my portfolio and can't wait to fill it with many new projects! As always, Matt made everything so easy and fun to learn.
The responsive workshop builds upon the things you been learning, and you apply that to a multi-page portfolio. I enjoyed the problems that Matt encountered during the recordings of the video and solved them in the video. It showed that even a professional developer, no matter how long they have been coding still mistype and still face challenges along the way. I can't wait for the next workshop! I am very much enjoying these coding workshops.
I've attempted to work this bootstrap before only to become discouraged and give up. This workshop really helped me get a firmer grasp on not just using it but being able to understand responsiveness as well as media quires (something I honestly thought I just wouldn't understand). It did require a lot more attention to detail but I'm really glad that I did this and I can't wait to go add more responsiveness to my projects.
Really liked this approach on the add-on to create a responsive website with pure HTML + CSS, whith no Bootstrap. Was challenging and fun!! One more to my list!

I really enjoyed this workshop. It was a love-hate relationship with bootstrap when I first learned it during the SheCodes Plus. However, after these responsive sessions- I get it, and I can't get enough of bootstrap. The final project really encouraged me to attempt to design and build a starter portfolio that I am really proud of. I can't wait to continue learning and just making new projects and improving my old ones.
This was my third SheCodes workshop so far. It was a great leap forward (again), from what I could do before. I'm proud to say I have now built my first truly responsive website that has multiple pages. Thank you for everything, can't wait to continue with React!

Good course to practice with responsive webs and multiple pages. Now I've created my portfolio for when I look for work. Maybe the SEO part is a little lacking.
I've tried coding in the past during my time at university. I immediately found it fascinating and fun, but I never really felt like I was part of the coding community or that I could comfortably ask for help. This greatly discouraged me during this time. I felt like maybe coding just isn't something I can do. It has been a number of years with small attempts to get back into coding here and there. I kept hearing about SheCodes and the success of thousands of women around the world who began with little to no coding experience. I began thinking, 'Maybe I really can do it!'. I attended the free workshop led by Matt and my intrigue with coding was instantly restored. His way of instructing made me feel confident that I can actually follow along and genuinely understand the lessons. I appreciate how he does not rush through the lessons and breaks them down into easily digestible videos. What has held me back in the past is my difficulty with reaching out for help. The SheCodes website has tons of resources right at my fingertips. Slack is also awesome for finding answers to questions I've had. It's also reassuring to know that I'm not alone with whatever question I have because it's often already been asked on Slack. The moderators are kind and highly responsive, it is a very encouraging and collaborative space. It's a great tool to have alongside the workshops. This is just the beginning of my coding journey, but I am so excited! I have big plans for my future career plans!
