I open websites on my phone, computer, and other devices every single day, and I truly understand how important it is for a site to perform well across all of them. While beeing currently in New York, I developed a fully responsive travel website from the ground up, focused on local food spots and attractions. I absolutely enjoyed this project, it sharpened my front-end development skills using HTML5, CSS Grid, HTML tables, and embeds. I created an interactive layout with travel project cards and dynamic visuals.
I found the Responsive Web Design course on CSS Grid really interesting. It was a great way to dive deeper into building flexible and well-structured layouts. I also had fun discovering some cool extras like CSS filters and iframes โ little surprises that made the whole learning experience even more enjoyable! That said, I still prefer using Flexbox โ it just feels more intuitive to me for most layout tasks ^^;

Very fun to learn more during the Responsive Add-On Course about embeds, grids and to make the website responsive!
The 'Responsive Add-On' course is very beneficial to brush up on everything that you have learned so far and enables you to create another website landing page to showcase on your portfolio ๐ฅ๏ธ
The responsive add-on course teaches you a few more techniques and allows you to dive even deeper into responsive by giving you the opportunity to build an entire responsive website from scratch. It allows you to use all of your previously acquired skills and put them into action. The course is definitely challenging but I like that you have the option to build your website alongside Matt or do it completely on your own without watching the videos in advance. It is a lot of learning but it is also a lot of fun to be able to build your own website and see it come to life on screens of all sizes.
In this period, I learned about responsive design and how to create websites that display correctly on all devices (mobile, tablet, and desktop). I practiced key skills such as Flexbox, Grid, Media Queries, and optimization techniques for a better user experience. Now, I can design responsive web pages that are both beautiful and functional.
The Add-on lessons on responsive design were incredibly helpful. I now have a much better understanding of how to create websites that look great on all devices. The lessons were clear, practical, and tailored to my needs. I gained the skills to confidently implement media queries and flexible layouts, which has greatly improved the user experience of my websites.
Just finished Responsive Add on, and I can't believe I actually built such a complex multi-features web page myself! It really helps with development of attention to details and care of the design features, and it was very interesting to learn how to make it responsive for all the devices. This workshop is by far the best! With every challenge I learnt how to apply my knowledge and also think out of the box. I learnt how to build responsive website that is suitable for all kinds of devices and how to make a website SEO friendly. I truly loved this workshop and I would highly recommend it to women who want to learn how to code.
Add on Responsive was not easy but very interesting to learn how to make a page responsive without bootstrap.
