SheCodes responsive was fun and informative. I really enjoyed having to create my own personal portfolio and design it the way I want. I really loved this workshop. It's something i was waiting since i started my SheCodes journey. I simply love creating webpages and giving them my personal design style. Another stage completed. It wasn't easy, but it was fun at the same time. Thanks to Matt and the simple and detailed way he teaches, I was able to learn the basics (sometimes not so much, lol) of React and knowing that I can now build a more complete and responsive application is very satisfying, even though I have a long way to go to improve my knowledge and techniques. To be honest, this course was easier than SheCodes Plus. Of course, knowledge and confidence have already accumulated. In addition, there was no Java Script. Today JS is the most difficult for me. Another achievement I consider is that I already watch video lessons with virtually no translation. Itβs very interesting to watch how a whole website appears from a set of symbols, you feel like a magician. In Responsive you have to pay a lot of attention to detail; you have to redo many sections of the page several times, changing parameters for each screen size. I would like to express my gratitude to Met and the SheCodes team for the opportunity to learn. Of course, I definitely recommend these courses.
I really enjoyed the Responsive Add-on. Having a break from JavaScript was welcome, but I also really enjoyed the reminder of how powerful just HTML and CSS can be; and how tricky they can be! Like the other SheCodes courses I've done so far, I'd highly recommend this one too.

SheCodes is one love. Every next workshop gives some new information and skills. Making a web application mobile-friendly is essential nowadays. I'd like to highlight things I liked the most about SheCodes courses: 1) on recorded videos you can see that Matt could mistype or make some mistakes, then he thinks how to correct them, how to improve how web page looks - and it's great that students are able to see real work of front-end developer, not an ideal scenario. It inspires 2) during Responsive workshop students were able to select one of three available option of design for the final project. And I would say nobody was restricted to follow them with 100% accuracy. I like that combination of freedom and template 3) as a result of every workshop a student has a final result that could be shared with friends and colleagues by just sending a link to web page!
I highly recommend this workshop. It has given me the basic knowledge to build responsive websites.

SheCodes Responsive has taught me all of the things that I wished I could have done with my projects from SheCodes Basic and especially SheCodes Plus. I recognise there are other workshops that could, no doubt, teach the same content, however, the means in which SheCodes delivers this program of learning is effective for how I learn. The delivery of a lesson, followed by a challenge with a marked result and a solution provides the learning examples for me to properly understand. One of my favourite things about SheCodes is that even Matt struggles to get code to work for him sometimes, and he is a professional developer. This gives me confidence in my own ability (as it shows anyone can make a mistake, regardless of how advanced they are) and I appreciate that Matt could have gone on to re-record these lessons but instead shows us how he fathoms out these issues.
