I was hesitant to try a coding workshop, but I am so happy that I did! The entire format makes the content easily digestible as well as enjoyable. I highly recommend it for anyone on the fence about coding.
I would highly recommend SheCodes to anybody who would like to learn how to code, especially if you don't have any previous experience(s) with coding! I studied something completely different in Uni, but wanted to be able to transfer the passion that I have for creativity in my free time (in the future) into my 9-5 as well. I also wanted something that would continue to challenge my brain on a daily basis. After some internet searches I came across SheCodes and decided to take the free intro-to-coding class from Matt. I was hesitant at first since I had no prior experience to coding, but as soon as Matt said that you don't need prior experience and that anyone can learn how to code, I decided that it was worth giving it a try. It did not disappoint! I'm so happy that I followed the Basics course; I learned so much in 3 weeks and Matt's explanation videos were pretty easy to follow and also very helpful. At times it can get a bit frustrating when there are mistakes in your code that you're struggling to find and correct, but fear not! By retracing your steps or asking for help on Slack you will eventually figure it out and it will all be worth it! I'm exited to continue learning and can't wait to sign up for SheCodes Plus. 10/10
Great course for beginners. I knew nothing about coding before the course, and still managed to understand every lesson with ease. At the end of the 3 weeks, I was already able to build a fairly detailed page from scratch! Highly recommend.

The SheCodes Basics Workshop exceeded all of my expectations. It was straightforward and easy to follow which made it a lot more enjoyable when learning. I had no previous knowledge or experience before starting the workshop but it gave me the confidence to pursue coding further. The challenges and weekly homework helped to cement what I had learned throughout the week which really paid off when doing my final project. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to start coding but doesn't know where to start!

Coming to the end of Shecodes Plus and building a weather app for my final project wasn't easy but it was definitely worth it. Shecodes has been phenomenal in the style of teaching and the wealth of resources made available to support women learn how to code. I never could have learnt coding if it wasn't for Shecodes. So I would recommend it over and over again to any woman out there who has access to a laptop and who would like to learn how to code.

The SheCodes plus workshop has been a lovely learning experience! Challenging at times, but always fun. I was very excited to start this course and it did not disappoint! The lessons are easy to follow and less than ten minutes each so you do not feel overwhelmed with information and most lessons have a challenge to try out what you have just learned. The homework and projects were a fun way to bring together all the coding skills picked up in the lessons. I would recommend this course to anyone starting out in web-development!

Ladies and non-binary folks, if you're looking to get your feet wet in the world of coding, SheCodes is where it's at! I recently completed their Basics course, and had such a great time that I decided to level up and try out their SheCodes Plus program. Let me tell you, some of those later sections were a real brain-bender, but the experience was totally worth it. If you're a newbie to coding, I'd definitely recommend practicing your JavaScript skills and dabbling with APIs a bit before diving in. But with a little bit of elbow grease and a lot of patience, you'll be coding up a storm in no time. A huge shoutout to Matt and the whole SheCodes team for putting together such a fantastic program - you guys rock!

The SheCodes React workshop added on to the skills and knowledge that I learned with the previous workshops. It was more challenging but once again, Matt did a great job at explaining and going through all the knowledge on how to code a website app in React.
