This workshop was a great addition to my learning on web development. It included really insightful lessons and advice for web content creation. Also, the final project of a portfolio website means I can show the skills I have learnt and begin to showcase my new work! Each week is a challenge but in an enjoyable and engaging way, I would definitely recommend SheCodes!

This course challenged me a lot. But I did enjoy solving all the Javascript that I learned and might have been stuck on. I do recommend and I plan to continue to expand my knowledge in coding.
SheCodes helped me to learnt a lot in a matter of weeks, I'm happy and im very grateful that i took this online class. Matt is a great teacher and he explains everything in a simple way and understandable and also if you get stuck or have some questions, the SheCodes team is also really quick to answer my questions and also with other students! I would highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn coding.
There are issues with SheCodes BASICS: If you watch the provided videos, study the attached materials/links and possibly make some notes to ensure you've truly understood the concepts before tackling the challenges, you need half an hour per lesson. There are twenty lessons in the first week alone; therefore the estimated study time is WAY off. Also, towards the end of Week 1, the lessons become notably lazy and a lot of relevant information is simply dumped below the videos. The challenge in Week 2, lesson 3 is extremely poorly explained (it gets better again after that). On the bright side: The course does introduce you to Slack and VS Code (real developer tools). Conclusion: If you're completely unfamiliar with HTML & CSS, want to get your feet wet but don't know where to start, you might as well spend 100 bucks on SheCodes BASICS. However, as of February 27, 2023, the SheCodes Terms of Use state: "It is not possible to get a refund for a course even if you contact us before the course has started." How very empowering. Mind you, we're talking about a more or less fully automated setup. Based on such a refund policy alone, I cannot recommend that you spend your money on the other (significantly more expensive) workshops. Go check out Dr. Angela Yu or Colt Steele instead.
My SheCodes journey was very constructive. I started from scratch, and in 9 months I have learned how to code. It is very fulfilling when you see your own work come to life. I can not say that it was easy, but definately worth it, 1000%. The workshops are very well structured, they are easy to follow and very understandable. The Challanges are fun and exciting. I can highly recommend this courses, they are made in such way that even without previous coding experience you can learn it. Matt is a very good instructor and all the SheCodes team is helpfull.
Basics Add-On was excellent. It gave me a chance to add another challenging yet rewarding project to my portfolio, all the while building on what I learned in the Basics course. I would recommend this to anyone looking to fine-tune on their basic skills.
SheCodes Responsive is the third workshop that I complete. I have enjoyed a lot this one in particular because it allows me to practise all the previous knowledge and understand better how it works. I will continue with SheCodes React Workshop and I'm pretty sure that it will be challenging but very gratifying at the same time. Totally recommended
10/10 recommend. After a few weeks I can proudly and confidently make a website with multiple pages, that is seo friendly and responsive on mobile devices. I am so excited to continue coding and creating new and dynamic projects

I have been working on the project about different types of intelligence, the topic I have been interested in recently. Currently I am working in the language school which is concentrated on the different types of intelligence, that is why this topic is extremely relevant for me. During my project I had also a possibility to find out more about this topic. It was the pure pleasure for me to completing this challenge, though I had some doubts about my skills and creative part of myself. It even discouraged me a little, nevertheless I have finished it and I am proud of myself. I was listening to the SheCodes Radio and it helped me a lot during my coding, music really changes everything! I specifically liked working with the colors, gradients. It was fun! I will be working hard to become better in coding :) Overall, I would highly recommend this project to anyone. It was a thought-provoking and enlightening experience that challenged my assumptions and opened my mind to new possibilities. :)

React is a bit challenging at a first glance. But when you get deeper it becomes so easy to solve complicated tasks, which would be a liitle puzzled if you solve them with pure JS. I recently attended SheCodes Basic Workshop, and I have to say it was a great experience. The e-learning videos are very detailed and made the concepts easy to understand, even for someone with no prior coding experience like myself. The workshop was well-organized and covered a wide range of topics. One thing I particularly appreciated about the workshop was the hands-on approach. We were given ample time to practice what we learned, and feedback was provided. By the end of the workshop, I felt confident in my ability to write basic code and solve simple programming problems. Overall, I would highly recommend this basic coding workshop to anyone interested in learning how to code. It's an excellent starting point for beginners, and the skills you'll learn will be valuable in any field that requires computer literacy.
I would recommend this course to anyone interested in starting their Web development journey! Matt explains the topic very clearly and you can always come back to any part of the video if you miss or forget something from previous lessons. It will be a lot of frustration when something doesn't work yout the way you wanted to, but a lot of joy as well once your code works. I started SheCodes basic because I wanted to experience 1) if I would enjoy coding, 2) if I could keep up, and 3) if I could understand the concepts from a beginner's POV. I am happy to say that making a button work has sparked a joy that I did not know could be possible. I enjoyed myself so much! I learned and experienced the joy of solving a puzzle I was unsure about. I would highly recommend trying it out!
The course was super motivational and educational. I highly recommended it to those who need to improve their level in Frontend. This course enables me to open many doors that were closed before.

This is my last SheCodes course, and probably the one I liked the most. I was a little puzzled during the study, but it was exciting to see the differences between React and pure JS, how simple changes make huge difference. I would definitely recommend React to anyone who enjoyed vanilla JS. My coding journey doesn't end with SheCodes, I'm happy it was a big part of my introduction into the coding world. This has been such an exciting and challenging journey!

This is my fourth SheCodes workshop, and my learning curve has been incredibly steep. I started out with zero knowledge, and SheCodes has given me tons of knowledge and more confidence. SheCodes has given me the confidence to play with code and explore existing libraries and frameworks. The React workshop was terrific; it tied together everything I've learned and pushed me to challenge myself. The instructor is incredibly resourceful and talented and explains things in a simple-to-understand and unique way. The Slack team is ready to answer any question 24/7, and there is a massive community of women with the same goals and ambitions. I cannot recommend these workshops enough!

I was hesitant to try a coding workshop, but I am so happy that I did! The entire format makes the content easily digestible as well as enjoyable. I highly recommend it for anyone on the fence about coding.
I would highly recommend SheCodes to anybody who would like to learn how to code, especially if you don't have any previous experience(s) with coding! I studied something completely different in Uni, but wanted to be able to transfer the passion that I have for creativity in my free time (in the future) into my 9-5 as well. I also wanted something that would continue to challenge my brain on a daily basis. After some internet searches I came across SheCodes and decided to take the free intro-to-coding class from Matt. I was hesitant at first since I had no prior experience to coding, but as soon as Matt said that you don't need prior experience and that anyone can learn how to code, I decided that it was worth giving it a try. It did not disappoint! I'm so happy that I followed the Basics course; I learned so much in 3 weeks and Matt's explanation videos were pretty easy to follow and also very helpful. At times it can get a bit frustrating when there are mistakes in your code that you're struggling to find and correct, but fear not! By retracing your steps or asking for help on Slack you will eventually figure it out and it will all be worth it! I'm exited to continue learning and can't wait to sign up for SheCodes Plus. 10/10
Great course for beginners. I knew nothing about coding before the course, and still managed to understand every lesson with ease. At the end of the 3 weeks, I was already able to build a fairly detailed page from scratch! Highly recommend.

The SheCodes Basics Workshop exceeded all of my expectations. It was straightforward and easy to follow which made it a lot more enjoyable when learning. I had no previous knowledge or experience before starting the workshop but it gave me the confidence to pursue coding further. The challenges and weekly homework helped to cement what I had learned throughout the week which really paid off when doing my final project.
