Very interactive class. I have taken other online classes, but this by far taught me the best. Each challenge and homework really solidified the topics taught in each lesson. The lesson, although short, did a great job of breaking concepts down into teachable modules. Highly recommend!

Although I had zero experience with coding and do not work in an area related to coding, design or programming, SheCodes workshop was super helpful to this "initiation". A great intro to coding for someone who has never coded before. I particularly appreciated the practice-based structure of the course - every short instruction video is followed by a hands-on puzzle-like challenge, which really helps keep one interested and motivated. I have also found the technical support from staff on Slack very quick and helpful. Would highly recommend!

SheCodes Plus was a great next step for learning how to code in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The weekly challenges and homework were not easy but were broken down into digestible pieces, and I was able to successfully complete the workshop during weekends and after work. Matt provides really clear and concise recorded lessons with follow-up videos to walk you through each challenge and assignment's recommended solution. If more guidance is ever needed, additional help is always available over Slack. I do not have a math or programming background, yet I was able to grasp the concepts and after completing the weather app project, I feel more confident in my understanding and ability to read and create code to build useful applications. I recommend the SheCodes Plus workshop to anyone who has completed the 3-week introduction workshop, and wants to learn more!

As an architectural engineer by trade, I decided to take a leap and expand my knowledge of coding and software engineering. I had very little coding experience in college and what I did learn was pretty outdated (MATLAB and things of that sort), so joining this workshop was a bit intimidating at first. To my surprise, this workshop has not only been easy to understand, but it's been quite fun as well! I feel like I've learned so much and I intend to continue on my journey of coding. I knew very little about coding before taking this course but I was surprised at how accessible Matt made it. If you are interested in coding but are intimidated by it, I highly recommend this course! You cover a lot in 3 weeks, but the exercises really help cement what's covered in the lessons. This course gave me the confidence to know that I can do this, and if I can, you can!

I am a dentist by profession,and had been sitting at home during the lockdown of 2020. My mind was figeting with the idea of learning something new. Coding always fascinated me,but intricacies were also very intimidating. I joined SheCodes workshop to get an idea if I would like to learn this further, and at the end of 3 weeks I can say that this is the most simplified and in-depth course for a even a bigenner like me. I would highly recommend the SheCodes workshop to anyone who wants to learn coding and has zero knowledge of it(like me). This made it easy to make progress step by step in your own time. I particularly appreciated the hands-on of the course that allows you to learn by trying out and finding your own solutions while also providing support in case youβre stuck. I strongly recommend it to complete beginners interested in learning the basics of coding. SheCodes Intro Workshop has been so incredibly informative. It's a great place to start if you're looking to get into code or even curious if code is for you. I highly recommend starting here. I tried the self-taught route but I definitely needed guidance in where to start and which direction to go after starting. I'm so grateful SheCodes came along. I've already introduced some friends whose current careers have nothing to do with programming and they have also decided to try this workshop.
