I would highly recommend SheCodes! I enjoy analytical and puzzle solving tasks, and out of interest took up learning basic code in my free time, where a passion was sparked! I love seeing the immediate products of inputting code correctly vs incorrectly, and fully controlling the output of my work. The SheCodes beginners workshops have been a great kick-start and enabled me to build on and make greater sense of some of my initial knowledge.

The past 3 weeks have been so much fun! I never knew coding could be so easy to learn. This course has REALLY subverted my expectation of what coding would be like. I am generally very artsy and love to be creative and this provided me with a wonderful creative outlet, as well as such useful tools for marketing and building websites. I was looking to start my journey onto programming and when SheCodes popped up on my Instagram I knew what I had to do and I couldn't be happier and couldn't recommend it more! The lessons are super short and easy to follow, you practice every single thing you learn and you get to really get into the basics of coding. I couldn't be happier to have started my coding journey with SheCodes.
I tried many different online coding courses but none of them were as engaging as SheCodes. The fact that we have a community on Slack is an added bonus because you get to see fellow SheCoders like you learn and figure out the tasks given. I especially like the fact that we are given a project at the end of the workshop for you to test your skills from the lessons. Would definitely recommend!
My SheCodes workshop experience has been amazing. I definitely enjoyed practicing and learning how to code over the past few weeks. It was challenging but rewarding all at once. As a true example of a coding and IT newbie (bear w me, I studied art), I never really thought I would be capable of creating a website... and then came SheCodes! This was amazing! Matt's videos guided me through every step, and getting feedback through the Slack app was almost instant. It was especially great to get help from other women on the course, who were always ready to lend a hand and offer solutions when I was stuck. Overall I would recommend this to anyone, you don't need any prior knowledge at all. As an English student I thought coding would always be outside of my skillset; if I can do it, anyone can!

This was a fun way to learn the basic's to html, css and Javascript. The support team was very fast with helping you figure out your code and bugs. I would highly recommend if you're curious about coding.

SheCodes Plus was an amazing and challenging course. In just 2 months I have learned more advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript (comparing to what I knew from a previous course) and add up some more skills - like working with API, GitHub, Bootstrap and Hosting. The whole SheCodes team in the front with Matt was incredibly helpful and motivational. The whole course is made so unbelievable well that even though you might have tons of work or school, you still will happily watch all the videos, do all the challenges and basically spend 8+ hours each week learning to code. And luckily, you will see the results! I highly recommend this course to anyone who thinks that coding might be something interesting for her. I am definitely going to do the next course React and silently hoping that SheCodes will make some more courses.
The 3 week course was a perfect way to get a good overall view of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Weekly assignments meant that you had to learn by doing and it really made a big difference compared to other courses I've done in the past where everything is just based on viewing video content. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to start learning coding and to understand more about web elements.

It is amazing how much I was able to learn in only 3 weeks! The course is extremely well structured, all the steps and videos are very clear. I really like the teaching system: Learn - Challenge - Solution. It makes things easy to understand and gives the opportunity to try right away what I just learned. Matt is a great teacher - Bravo! SheCodes offers a brilliant introduction to Front End coding! The format is great: combining bitesize video tutorials, incremental exercises with bigger homework assignments and an engaged Slack community. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn the basics and build their confidence.

SheCodes is a great way to gain a basic understanding of how coding works! I learned a lot in these three weeks! It's a lot of work, but you'll gain a lot of learning from it and a whole lot of fun too! I recommend this to anyone that's simply curious about what coding is.
It was much more basic than I thought it would be. I would recommend it to a friend who is unconfident and inexperienced with coding, but if they are somewhat familiar with it, I would not.
I had no doubts about taking SheCodes Plus once I finished the initial workshop because of how much I enjoyed the learning process and I am glad I did! The class is super organized and extremely well thought out. The step by step structure allows you to learn efficiently - the class is challenging but not overwhelming because of how well it's set up. The team is also super helpful on Slack - I always had my questions answered every time I hit a roadblock. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning to code!

This coding workshop is very easy to understand and I really enjoy it! Especially got the deadline to submit homework. (I know you might think is weird but I found that I enjoy this challenge!) Being a liberal arts major, who has zero background in anything tech, this 3 week course gave me an opportunity to discover a skill I never thought of gaining. I enjoyed how beginners friendly this course was. The fact that that it was only 3 weeks long, it was easy for me to commit. I enjoyed how each lesson had a challenge and homework which made me feel productive and wanting more. I appreciate how thoughtful Matt was when creating this course as it allowed me to feel less intimidated of tech especially coding. I recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to step out of their comfort zone!

I wouldnβt recommend the workshop to people who already been through computer science class especially React. On the other hand I highly recommend this workshop for people who want to learn React or take their first steps into programming / development. I had fun during this workshop, it was nice to challenge myself and to try new things, as well as to improve my knowledge. The team is always ready to support you, even with problems that I had created myself by creating the project differently than requested, because I wanted to challenge myself a bit more. Thanks to you all, it was a fun time.
I would certainly recommend SheCodes. After having been interested in programming for a while, I followed a course but I got stuck on JavaScript. I didn't want to give up so I decided to give it one last try. Thanks to SheCodes, I now 'understand' JavaScript: I can see the logic behind it. The explanations are very good and you can practice everything immediately by doing the tests. All in all, I really liked this course.
This workshop really helps me to understand more about coding. From now on I could have easier communication with my peers in development and therefore understand them better. It is really rewarding to create a page from scratch. I am strongly recommended at least the first workshop, very accessible, easy and interactive.
