During this difficult time, continue to learn is one of the best options I have to get through the anxiety related to uncertainty /challenges, I then found SheCodes. SheCodes introductory workshop was very easy for me to follow and reach the weekly objective, I really recommend this as people's attention is constantly switching, the idea of short videos per topics is great and wouldn't make you feel overwhelmed that there are so much tasks following ahead.
After so many years finally I had a deep motivation to learn coding and I think I found the perfect place for that. SheCodes challenges me every week and this is an amazing feeling! I totally recommend it for everyone; you all know - knowledge is power.

This is my third SheCodes course and I really thoroughly enjoyed it just like I enjoyed all the other ones. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who is interested in learning coding because the price is fair compared to other bootcamps and it's easy to follow along at your own pace. I have an interest now in strengthening what I've learned in order to get better at coding, but I love that I have a solid foundation and an impressive project under my belt for potential job prospects.

During the pandemic, I thought about a change of career and decided to give it a go at coding. Obviously, it's natural to be skeptical about anything you buy online. I didn't think I would enjoy coding to be honest. However, I surprised myself by truly having fun with it. Matt made it simple and easy to follow steps. He was clear in all his explanation and he truly sounds like he enjoys teaching it. I would recommend this intro course to anyone interested in a glimpse of coding.

I've always been intrigued by coding but it always seemed so "big and scary". I work in Marketing and was seeing more and more employers requiring HTML, CSS, and Javascript knowledge, and I didn't really know where to start. This being said, I'm so glad that I stumbled upon SheCodes. Matt is very relatable, and makes coding a lot less intimidating. The lessons - although sometimes challenging - are easy to understand, and I was always able to get help whenever I needed it via Slack. Hello, everyone! I am Elizabeth Romo and I wanted to share my experience with completing the SheCodes Workshop, it has been a learning experience. I honestly did not know anything about coding, but I was ready to learn and dive into this new coding world. It truly has been amazing I have learned so much in just three weeks. I like to look at coding like architecture, which is what I majored in. It starts off with the foundation and then the floors, walls and all the materials and components that go into a building, just as similar in coding there is the body, the head and the three languages (CSS, HTML and JavaScript). The coding world is so similar and different, but unique in its own way. Seeing a page come together gives me a great satisfaction. Knowing that I made it and that I could accomplish anything. So, go out there and start your own coding experience. I truly recommend it to everyone.

I had some periods of frustration, more than I had expected with this project. This program is not for beginners. I should have invested more time reviewing tutorials online for JavaScript and CSS. There are free ones on the MDN website that aren't instructor led like Matt's program. I would not recommend them to learn from start to finish, but they are a way to test what you know and find solutions to what you don't know. My recommendation to anyone taking the SheCodes Plus program is to make sure you are comfortable with Javascript before moving into this more advanced workshop. I am looking forward to SheCodes Plus React, which I have already paid for but I need to work on my JavaScript skills a little further before venturing into the more advanced workshop. Although I am taking a little break, for now, I will still be studying and working on JavaScript so that in the next month or two I will be ready to take on the challenge of SheCodes Plus React.
For someone with zero knowledge in coding, I highly recommend this workshop. The instructor is very knowledgeable and tries to explain the topics as simple as possible. It makes me happy every time I am able to solve the challenges on my own. :)

The SheCodes Plus course has no doubt been challenging, however building on the skills I learned in the SheCodes Workshop to make a functioning weather site is an incredible feeling. The team on Slack are very helpful, and SheCodes have been very accomodating to me as I started a job half way through the programme! Would recommend this course to anyone who wishes to stretch their brain, whilst being able to build a project from scratch.
SheCodes plus was a great experience! I loved putting my basic HTML skills to the test and improving on those skills. Working full time and then coming home to be a full time mom, SheCodes let me learn at my own pace. The videos are easy to follow and Matt explains everything in a way that writing, reading, and understanding code is almost second nature now. For anyone looking to expand on their currently knowledge or picking up so new mad skills, I would 1000% recommend SheCodes! I can't wait to start my next course!
