Highly recommended to anyone wishing to learn some basics on coding or anyone looking for a refresher. I've tried to teach myself some coding before, but it's different having someone to teach you and knowing that you have support when you get stuck on something. What I love about SheCodes is that it's more practical and doesn't give too much emphasis on theories. From working in a tech company, what you need more is the practical application and not the theories. I really enjoyed this workshop, and so I'd definitely recommend it!

This was a very accessible coding course! The workshops were a managable work load divided into small steps, which made completing it easier. I felt much more confident with my coding. Earlier in the year I started teaching myself to code from free online resources but quickly realized I needed a more structured lesson plan. That's when I saw SheCodes and decided to try it. SheCodes Plus was a beautiful challenge. There were ups and down in trying to understand Javacript but the videos, the Slack channel and the challenges really help develop the skill the right way. I was initially a little apprehensive about how I would find the course because I was always under the impression coding was very difficult to learn from the outset, but I realize now that is just misinformation we sometimes hear! It was surprisingly easy to understand once broken down into manageable lessons and great teaching. I recommend this to everyone and say don't be put off or intimidated by the idea of coding. SheCodes is a very good platform to learn how to code for beginners. Challenges after the lessons is very helpful way to practise. The teaching method in the videos is great!! First, he shows the basic method and then gradually goes the advance. Very very recommendable for absolut beginners.

I previously worked as a Digital Advertising Specialist for a media company in Washington DC. This is where I was first introduced to the coding world. I have advanced experience in HTML & CSS but, I knew I had only dipped my toes in the water. My SheCodes experience so far has been fantastic. It's the perfect mix of challenging, interesting and very well structured. Before SheCodes, I had tried to self teach myself Python several times, however I could never progress very far and I think the main reason is because I didn't have access to a community that supported one another nor a structured lesson plan to learn the concepts thoroughly. I decided to take the SheCodes workshops during Quarantine, and it has been a great way to grow my knowledge of coding and have something productive to do with all of my extra free time indoors. I would HIGHLY recommend these workshops to anyone who has wanted to learn more about coding, the videos are easy to follow, and the homework and projects are easy to complete. No deadline will make you feel overwhelmed, and the Slack communities they have created are all welcoming. All of the women in the slack communities want you to succeed.
