If you're planning on learning React JS from zero, I'd totally recommend this workshop. Not only teach you some basic and essentials stuff to build a nice professional-looking app, but they also encourage your confidence to feel comfortable using React, which is not an easy subject to learn (at least for me). I have learned a lot in 3 weeks and enjoyed it more than I thought. I was initially a little apprehensive about how I would find the course because I was always under the impression coding was very difficult to learn from the outset, but I realize now that is just misinformation we sometimes hear! It was surprisingly easy to understand once broken down into manageable lessons and great teaching. I recommend this to everyone and say don't be put off or intimidated by the idea of coding. SheCodes is a very good platform to learn how to code for beginners. Challenges after the lessons is very helpful way to practise. The teaching method in the videos is great!! First, he shows the basic method and then gradually goes the advance. Very very recommendable for absolut beginners.
After finishing the beginner workshop I decided to continue with SheCodes Plus, in order to gain more knowledge and skills of the coding world. This was a difficult course but very fulfilling and I'm excited to progress onto SheCodes Reacts. Would highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting to develop their skills in coding.

I previously worked as a Digital Advertising Specialist for a media company in Washington DC. This is where I was first introduced to the coding world. I have advanced experience in HTML & CSS but, I knew I had only dipped my toes in the water. This was the moment I knew I wanted to pursue a career in programming (web developer/web design/frontend developer). I can say that the SheCodes Beginner Workshop taught me a lot. My SheCodes experience so far has been fantastic. It's the perfect mix of challenging, interesting and very well structured. Before SheCodes, I had tried to self teach myself Python several times, however I could never progress very far and I think the main reason is because I didn't have access to a community that supported one another nor a structured lesson plan to learn the concepts thoroughly. The SheCodes experience is well worth all the hard work and you're bound to find something you like about it. 100% recommend this program!

I love SheCodes! I decided to take the SheCodes workshops during Quarantine, and it has been a great way to grow my knowledge of coding and have something productive to do with all of my extra free time indoors. I would HIGHLY recommend these workshops to anyone who has wanted to learn more about coding, the videos are easy to follow, and the homework and projects are easy to complete. No deadline will make you feel overwhelmed, and the Slack communities they have created are all welcoming. All of the women in the slack communities want you to succeed. It's a great place to see women empowering other women! And coming out of the other side of the Plus workshop with an app you built by yourself is one of the BEST feelings! 10/10, 10000000 βοΈ.

I started to search for courses online and found the programs quite confusing until I came across this workshop. I love the simple approach and the breakdown of the lessons. The course could have more content in the third week since the project does not take much time. The structure of the program really allowed me to process and implement each learning. I had some issues sticking with the timeline but they were very understanding and still allowed me to complete the program past the deadlines. Overall the way the classes were taught and logic explained, allowed me to build a strong foundation to pursue coding further! Highly recommend and looking forward to taking the Plus course next.

Learning React with SheCodes was a great time. The lessons were short, focused around a specific topic and easy to follow. Thanks to that, there's no way to feel overwhelmed or bored. The challenges were stimulating and fun to do. It was so satisfying to observe my app evolving with the skills gained throughout the course. I feel like my code is now looking much neater than in vanilla project. Starting my coding adventure, I was pretty scared that all of this will be too hard for me to understand. I'm glad that I overcame this feeling and realised that it isn't necessary to have a tech background to complete SheCodes workshop triad. I highly recommend it to everyone interested in frontend.
