When I started SheCodes Workshops, I was unemployed and had quite low confidence in my professional abilities. However, I decided to give coding a try seeing as I had time on my hands and it seemed to be such a coveted skill. Since starting, I have found a new job and I have put these coding skills to use in making a database for my team. Thank you SheCodes - your high quality classes, supportive mentoring and content structure has helped me a lot. I would recommend to all.

This coding workshop is a perfect way, how to quickly and easily learn the basics of coding. Perfect is that after the workshop you can already start with coding on your own. The content of the workshop is explained very well - just to the point with a summary at the end of the workshop so that you do not get lost in all information. I enjoyed it and recommend it a lot.

I have learned a lot during 3 week SheCodes workshop and for sure it strengthened my conviction that I love coding! I would recommend it to my friends! Of course I will enroll for SheCodes plus workshop soon as I cannot wait to learn more about coding :)

A great journey that I had in SheCodes! I finished my final project in React and I really loved it! I had zero knowledge in coding but thanks to SheCodes, now I have knowledge in coding. Coding is not easy indeed, although with the right classes, exercises and chat support will make it easy and SheCodes has those qualities. I highly recommend SheCodes because Coding is and will be the future in our world.

This course has been a treat. Everything is broken down so that it doesn´t seem scary or intimidating. I loved learning about coding with Matt and although I have decided that I don't want to be a coder it has helped me significantly in my job where we run a CMS. Using SheCodes to broaden my basic programming knowledge has been a terrific experience and I am sure to continue learning and developing in this line. This is a solid course that covers the basics of coding in an easy, comprehendible way for beginners such such as myself. I learned a lot not only from Matt, but from previous students through the platform Slack; having a place to communicate with others and ask questions while going through the course lessons was super helpful and informative. The workload was never overwhelming, so I was actually able to enjoy the process of learning something new without having a deadline looming over me! I highly recommend this class!

I've wanted to learn how to code for a really long time and now it's possible, all thanks to SheCodes! Whether you know a little something or nothing at all, I highly recommend this workshop to those who are curious about it or just want some extra skills under their belt.

I started my journey as a refresher to prepare for an interview. I chose this bootcamp because I was very impressed with Matt's mission of helping more women to start careers in tech. Matt and his staff, Joao and Daniela just to name a few, are very dedicated to each student. I'm amazed by how they manage to answer everyone's question in our Slack community. SheCodes helped me to discover where my skills were deficient while also rekindling a love for coding that was different from classroom learning. I recommend this coding bootcamp for beginners because Matt teaches on a level that anyone could understand. But with anything it will take commitment, hard work, asking lots of questions, if you don't understand a concept break down the concept until you understand it, and never by any means quit on yourself for you are worth it.

SheCode is the extraordinary course where anything can be possible. I never imagined I could create a weather app! The work team is fantastic: the video lessons held by Matt are super precise and easy going, Joao gives an answer to every doubt, (thanks for always being ready to help!) and Daniela with her support was also really great! SheCodes is amazing!!! It is enjoyable, easily informative and it is a coding education platform that ACTUALLY makes you WANT to do the work and put in the effort to code. I am very happy with all of my projects so far and whenever I have asked for assistance (ahem...wrong homework submission 🤦🏾‍♀️😆), it was given without hesitation. Matt is very patient and calm in his tone in the lesson videos. You also don't get the feeling that he's rushing you, which is useful when you're learning something like this and which I especially found helpful. The content is concise and easy to retain in my head and once you get the hang of it (which is easy to do with this course), it really lets your creativity go and you discover a whole new art form. Coding. The artistic flair of computing language. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to any woman who is taking up coding as a career path or even as a constructive and creative hobby. It is well worth it. 👩🏾‍💻👍🏾🙋🏾‍♀️

In a nutshell I'm sad this course is over! I would have never thought I would say those words about coding. Thanks to Matt, this course was beginner friendly, smooth and super fun to follow. The assigned homework/projects allow you to practice the concepts while being free to have fun and be as creative as you like. Highly recommend :)

I had some experience beforehand, but this workshop really helped sharpen my skills. I would totally recommend this and I would do it again. It's a really affordable way of developing your skills and also having fun with it, I learned a lot about coding but also about preparation when I do receive a job. SheCodes flipped my preconceptions of coding on their head! As someone completely new to coding, the workshop taught me to appreciate the fun, creative, and technical aspects of coding all at once. I remember a bunch of this coding knowledge from way back when I used MySpace in my teenage years. It was exciting to remember how much I had learned then and to see how quickly I could learn more with guided instruction! I would certainly recommend this workshop.

The most wonderful coding workshop! I attended one of the free workshops and decided I wanted to progress further. The broken down lessons were clear to understand and the challenges ensured you knew and understood what you had just learnt. Honestly would recommend to anyone I know and I hope to carry on further with the advanced workshops at a later date. The slack platform was very helpful and allowed peers to help and support each other as well as the key staff on hand to help. Can't thank you all enough! 💜

Ever since I was a little girl I talked about how I would love to learn how to be a hacker and do all that "magic" using computers, but I never knew how to. Since I struggled with math, I was more inclined and was led to a degree in social sciences/humanities and that idea went asleep. Now, a 24 year old, I stumbled upon a SheCodes ad online and that was it, I knew I had to do it and I couldn't be prouder or happier. I feel so accomplished and I feel that I can do anything, it's such a rewarding feeling! The workshop is amazing, Matt explains everything in a very detailed way and the videos are really helpful, we can see and understand everything and follow along as we go. I would definitely recommend it!

I would always recommend the SheCodes workshops. Even if I'm not an English native speaker or had any previous knowledge in coding, the lessons were understandable and easy to follow. The instructor Matt does a really good job! And if you need further support with your code, the slack community is awesome and helps you out. Well, at some points the SheCodes Plus workshop made me cry, desperate and hopeless. But at the end of each lesson and every challenge I was just happy and so excited to make the codes working and I'm looking forward to the next workshop!

Great course and great instructor! Matt Delac makes each concept easy to understand, and the challenges help retain the information in a more hands-on way. And although completely online, you will always have the resources, and support from the SheCodes team. Definitely recommend this course!

Highly recommended to anyone wishing to learn some basics on coding or anyone looking for a refresher. I've tried to teach myself some coding before, but it's different having someone to teach you and knowing that you have support when you get stuck on something. What I love about SheCodes is that it's more practical and doesn't give too much emphasis on theories. From working in a tech company, what you need more is the practical application and not the theories. I really enjoyed this workshop, and so I'd definitely recommend it!

This was a very accessible coding course! The workshops were a managable work load divided into small steps, which made completing it easier. I felt much more confident with my coding. I think the weekly homeworks keep you on top of things and it's nice to have a project at the end! I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants an introduction to coding!

Earlier in the year I started teaching myself to code from free online resources but quickly realized I needed a more structured lesson plan. That's when I saw SheCodes and decided to try it. It's been a great course! The lessons are easy to follow and the challenges are a great way to make sure you fully understand the topic before moving on to the next lesson. It's been a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to people just starting out with coding!

I believe this is one of the best online platforms to learn how to code, the basics of coding and the syntaxes of some of the most used programming languages. The idea is great, and the way that Matt teaches is really reasonable to understand. I totally recommended it.

SheCodes Plus was a beautiful challenge. There were ups and down in trying to understand Javacript but the videos, the Slack channel and the challenges really help develop the skill the right way.
