SheCodes workshop is awesome and I can't wait for the next chapters, SheCodes REACT!

SheCodes React might be the most challenging workshop yet. I struggled pretty often, but I enjoyed learning through this workshop overall. As always, the SheCodes team was super helpful in times of need. It was satisfying building the weather project and comparing it to the project I built using vanilla JS in the Plus workshop.

Learning how the React framework works was challenging and really exciting. Such a great tool that I intend to keep on working with!

Had a lot of fun while learning and creating React app. A little bit sad it is already over 😄

I had so much fun learning with SheCodes React. I took a couple months break between the Weather app and the Dictionary app. I was afraid that everything I had learned would be lost, but instead I came back knowing more than I thought and understanding the logic behind each decision. Thank you SheCodes for this experience, I recommend any woman who wants to challenge herself to grab the laptop and get started 👩‍💻

Thanks to this workshop, I learned React. It was not always easy, but with more effort the result will be great. Also thanks to the links to additional resources, I studied even more material. So I really happy to complete (successfully, I think) this course and now I'm ready to start searching a cool job.

Happy to have completed the last (not including add-ons) SheCodes course! I would recommend taking this right after SheCodes plus, as it feels like a natural extension. I took the React course first, which was definitely more comprehensive. But this course definitely shows how much you can do with HTML and CSS alone, and I'm looking forward to keep working on my new portfolio website!

Really loved this course!! As a beginner with React JS , this course helped me have a good understanding on the basics. I would definitely recommend this course to folks who are new to React. Matt is amazing!

I would highly recommend this course for those who are searching for a way to understand how React and JSX work (you need basic knowledge of JS). It's totally true, that there is not much difference, but with knowledge of how to make it all work will be much easier and painless! Especially when you'll have such a great teacher and instructions ❤️ Prepare yourself, that it will not be click-easy, in light of the extremely fast-changing versions and updates, but you'll definitely get it :) And it will be good training to work with endless updating of React, which is the true face of today's technologies - it's your Wonderland where you definitely need to "believe as many as six impossible things before breakfast" and "it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!" Have fun 🥰

Building a weather app was a fun exercise to get to know working with React. Definitely curious to learn more about it.

I enjoyed this course a lot. It was packed with information and in the end, I managed to build my own responsive website. There is still a lot of work but I’m starting to feel more and more confident when it comes to coding. Next stop – React! 😃

Amazing as always! I took 4 courses from SheCodes and I'm very impressed by the detailed explanations Matt provides for every topic. It's absolutely incredible to be able to build React applications after a few weeks of learning.

It was a nice workshop for beginners; I am sure a more advanced react workshop will complement it well.

This workshop was challenging but very fun! I got to design and code my own portfolio website and make it accessible across platforms, which will be helpful when job hunting in the future. I'm looking forward to the next challenge in the React workshop and to further my education!

I really enjoyed this React course, I found that I was able to really apply all of the knowledge I learned here and in the previous courses. It was challenging learning this new framework but fun to figure out how it works and I loved being able to create two projects in this course!

Finally! Starting with zero knowledge I have completed the whole Shecodes Workshop . React was not that easy to understand but was able to use all the skill acquired to build a functioning dictionary app. Thanks to Delac Foundation, Matt and the entire team of Shecodes for making this journey a success.

I loved it. I really enjoyed learning React, especially because everything is broken into components which makes it a little easier visually. It was tough but worth it!

This course is incredibly well structured and to the point. IT teaches complicated concepts in a simple way and helps you sail through the course pain-free.I could feel my brain growing while doing the activities. I would gladly buy this course again just for the teaching alone. I’ve taken many online courses but I don’t think I’ve ever learned so much in an online course as in this one.I am really happy to have this chance to learn so many information about React and API.

I really struggled with React. I found it incredibly challenging and really relied on reviewing all the videos multiple times, using the source code, lots of googling, reading others questions in the slack channels. But that being said, the material was presented in great details so I was able to learn all the items but also teach myself how to make send of things. I think I am just going to need a lot of practice working with many, many components. I was very impressed with the layout of the courses and how he was able to "translate". As I have said all along, I highly recommend SheCodes!!

SheCodes Responsive was great! I have such a solid understanding of the ins and outs of building a website and even created a portfolio for myself. This class was just as thorough and interesting as the other classes I've taken so far from SheCodes! Looking forward to continuing the journey with React next!

I already had a base of HTML and CSS before starting the course. What I needed to strengthen was my knowledge in JS and React. I found the explanations and the method very good and enjoyable. I feel I have made a good choice with this course (SheCodes MAX).

These 6 months with SheCodes were totally incredible! I started with a landing page and now I make my first steps in React! It is unbelievable. First, I felt great support for my progress. And then I believed in myself, in my ability to learn, to try, to invent, to move forward.

SheCodes React was, I think, the most challenging course for me, but yet the most exciting one! I have built two real-life projects step by step with instructor Matt Delac. I have really enjoyed the course so far, and I am happy that I signed up for a package including SheCodes Basics, SheCodes Plus, SheCodes Responsive, and SheCodes React. In my experience the lessons were easy to follow, and the respons to any questions I may have had has been quick.

I've done!!! Honestly, It was rather difficult, but having huge will I've succeed in studying this React course... Anyway, Matt and all SheCodes team are ready to help at any time. Thanks them for support and clear instructions. SheCodes React course is just shown a little part of huge React possibilities. So you can go deeper after this course. As for me, I'm sure, it's just a begging of interesting coding path.

This is a perfect course for all levels. A great way to learn React is by practicing. The course structure is just perfect and covers all the basics. The assignments are extremely helpful in reinforcing the concepts that you've acquired throughout the course.

This was the hardest of the four SheCodes Workshops I have completed, but if you are up for the challenge, it is a great way to learn React. After finishing this Workshop, I feel like I have a good understanding of using React and its many efficiencies.

Thanks for the React course. It's very cool, very practical. And in general, although all your courses are going without live calls, but recorded, this is not a drawback. Everything is clearly and understandably explained. Also I got help from Slack-chat. Of the minuses, in my opinion, there is a lack of a theoretical part and preparation for an interview, or any recommendation to IT companies. So that at the end the girl has a greater chance of finding a job. But still your course is very worthy and useful. I wish you progress and all the best ❤️ 🙌🏻

Loved SheCodes React!

I was overwhelmed by Shecodes Plus, but thanks to Shecodes Responsive, things have made much more sense. Still have React, and I can't wait to use React to improve my portfolio.

Learning React was challenging and I'd like to thank Matt for creating lessons and challenges that really helped me understand the structure and flow of data in React. He also had encouraged me to look into third-party state managements & I had successfully learned how to implement one into my weather app. I love that this workshop contained two projects as it gave me the opportunity to improve my coding skills and add a dictionary applications to my portfolio. With Matt Delac help I build React Weather App and React Dictionary App. This course was not easy, but so interesting and advancing. Now I'm in love in coding. I found myself in it. SheCodes responsive was straightforward and fun! I loved being able to learn how to make my page responsive and got to laugh at how unresponsive my previous work was and go back and fix it! My third workshop with SheCodes! This responsive workshop was challenging but I really liked it! I got to create my own portfolio website using everything that I learned so far. If you need to build a multi-page responsive website, this workshop is the way t go. I'm looking forward to the next challenge in the React workshop.

What a ride. I 110% recommend SheCodes, and I recommend that you start from the basics and move all the way to React. It really was a great journey, can't way to continue to create great web pages and apps. Wow! It's been an interesting journey so far. Learning JSX (React) is a simplified way of coding. I know I still need to practice more and I'll be good to go. Shecodes, I appreciate you for this opportunity given. If I have to learn coding again, I will still pass through you. Instructor Matt, God bless you Richly. With what you have taught me, I recently got a client who asked me if I could host a site and I proudly did and soon will be paid for it. Team Shecodes, thank you for always checking on me throughout the coding journey. Love you all always.

I enjoyed the other SheCodes workshops (Basic and Plus), but the React workshop was very disappointing. The help from the SheCodes Slack channel was pretty apathetic - my questions and the questions of other students were often "answered" with really short and thoughtless responses that made it clear that the team was not actually looking very closely at our issues. At the time of writing this testimonial, React is on version 18, but Matt is teaching version 16 after making a big to-do about always teaching us the latest version. The changes between the two aren't that significant, but they were significant enough that it made completing challenges more difficult than they should have been. I am also appalled at how often I have heard "just Google it" during this course. I paid to learn React, have someone walk me through the terminology, and follow a step-by-step guide, NOT to read forum after forum of coding jargon I don't understand. It was also very disheartening to have to complete a weather application YET AGAIN after going through it once (or twice, if you count the last two weeks of the program) in the Plus course. All in all, I did learn about React during this course, but I feel completely unprepared to tackle it in any scenario outside of a weather app.

Completing SheCodes Plus feels like such a huge achievement! It was a very tricky module which makes me feel that much prouder for finishing it! Having the chance to work with live data was so cool I can't wait to get started with SheCodes responsive and react
