Its been a long time since ive taken a course that does not involve power point presentation s or watching the instructor read to me. Matt got right into it with "let me show you" followed by "now you do it"...there are also no quizzes but actual mini projects demonstrating you know how to do what he just showed, followed by a final project. This was sort of a refresher for me (i took a coding class over a decade ago) and thank you THANK YOU. I am not sure if I will pursue this (not for me) but what this course did was expand my realm of possibility and give me more confidence to tackle on other online courses. THANK you for making learning exciting again :) I have told several people to just take this course to see and experience what great teaching is just so they can be inspired to take more classes. Great job. Outstanding really.

This workshop changed my life for the better. I successfully created a professional-looking portfolio website of my work with SheCodes and future passion projects. I genuinely believe I'm a full-fledged front-end developer after conceptualizing my site from wireframes to releasing a highly-usable site. It's responsive, chic, and everything I envisioned my website to be. Matt Delac is a phenomenal teacher, and I am so grateful that I took this workshop.

Loved SheCodes Responsive! I have to admit I was struggling with Plus a bit especially after having a 6-month break in between workshops, as I felt rusty at coding. That's why I was adamant taking Responsive right after finishing Plus, and enjoyed much much more and I can genuinely say that was worth every penny. Now I'm onto the next one, and hopefully I'll be able to do some adds-on projects too! Just love the atmosphere here (even it's digital lol) and how learning to code is made so effortless by Matt! Keep up the good work π

This course helped me to believe in myself. Besides I enjoyed it very much. It's amazing to see how step by step my project became better.
SheCodes has been a great starting point for me to learn the very basics. It was easy to understand and there were lots of great resources linked throughout that I will continue to use. The projects were simple for a beginner and also allowed for more creativity if you did a little extra research or jumped in and had a bit of fun!

It was a wonderful experience with an exciting project. I learned a lot at SheCodes Plus and really enjoyed the workshops. It was very challenging at times, but very rewarding in the end. I'm excited to start my next workshop and continue learning and would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn to code.

Great course with easy-to-follow lessons, very comfortable and flexible schedule. The last lessons made me excited to see my project progressed and "looked alive" and what I able to do after course. In case I stuck for a few minutes, there was always an amazingly helpful community in Slack. I am really appreciate SheCodes team to have this fantastic opportunity to learn a coding so easy and fun!
I really liked this extra project for responsive websites without using bootstrap. It's always good to know how to do this without extra tools for when it's necessary!
Few months ago I could not write a single line of code but today I have built a few projects that I am absolutely proud of.
It was such an amazing opportunity to learn new skill at the end of the day, it was not easy at the beginning but with practice and working on the project decidedly. It tuned out right.
Once again, I had lots of fun during this last Workshop, so that I am actually sad that it was the last one. I could not be prouder of everything that I have learned and accomplished during this last few months. It was a mix of work and fun to go through all the different projects that were assigned to us. I know this is game-changing for me and I hope my career follows π

Great workshop! I was able to finish it in about 3.5 weeks instead of 8 weeks mainly due to the great lessons and how interactive this project is.

Very nice workshop! I enjoyed learning about grids, transform, and other CSS properties! I feel like I'm getting more used to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and it was fun putting the project together using all of those! I love how everything is taught in an easy to understand way and you can always go back to the video to refresh your memory and understand it better. I also really like the challenges and how they give you good practice on doing something you just learned about so you get more knowledge and experience. I feel like I'm learning a lot!
This has been an incredible intro course into the world of coding. Matt's videos are very informal and easy to follow, and the resources provided makes it coding extremely accessible to anyone who wants to try and build their own projects. I really enjoyed making this weather-app project! I was able to use many things I learned before as well as learned a lot of new skills and techniques in coding, such as API, GIT, Hosting, etc.
I've loved this course! It's really well paced, easy to follow and allows you to get hands on with building sites straight away. The final project is a lot of fun and allows you to be super creative.
Learning React was a challenge that I really enjoyed. Impressive to see how far I've come in programming in just a few months with SheCodes. I've come from zero to a great project in JSX that I didn't know I could accomplish. Special thank you to Matt and the SheCodes amazing team willing to help me 24h every day!

What an enjoyable experience! π As a graphic/website designer I knew the very basics and have "winged" my way up until this point on my own website and learning along the way for client work. I still learnt SO much during this basics course that has given me complete clarity and understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and more confidence in my abilities and work. The classes are super easy to follow and the projects are really satisfying as you can (literally) see the results of your hard work. Thank you Matt for creating such an excellent platform to learn with. Cannot wait to complete the rest of the courses!
This workshop was challenging but it was incredibly fun to code this project. It was super rewarding to create a functional app while having aesthetics included. I cannot wait to advance my skills to come back to this project and take it to it's next potential!

Having very little experience with coding before taking this course, I was a little apprehensive about taking it. There was no need to be apprehensive as Matt did a great job in the videos of explaining how everything works! And I had fun learning and making the final project.
Still loving SheCodes. This course set me up with so much knowledge in a short space of time. It didn't feel particularly challenging to learn, but before I knew it I could code a whole responsive website from scratch. I particularly enjoyed following the step by step lessons when working towards the final project. I was able to use the foundations of the final project to create my own CV website in order to start applying for jobs.

I just completed the SheCodes Plus! I enjoyed working hard on the challenges and finishing the project creating a weather app practicing many new things. In this workshop I have also learned how to communicate with other developers, the tools that exist and how to search for my own resources when I am stuck in one of the tasks. Now I'm encouraged and inspired to study coding more than before. Can't wait to continue my studies with the next workshops.

I have been curious about coding and enjoyed the free class from SheCodes so much that I signed up for my first workshop with them! The content is easy to follow, while the challenges and projects are challenging in a good way, the perfect balance for me to learn. I also liked that we could reach out to other students and support staff if we had questions, and I love that SheCodes helps women from all around the world. :)
SheCodes React might be the most challenging workshop yet. I struggled pretty often, but I enjoyed learning through this workshop overall. As always, the SheCodes team was super helpful in times of need. It was satisfying building the weather project and comparing it to the project I built using vanilla JS in the Plus workshop.
The SheCodes Basics Add-On workshop was great practice and I had a lot of fun working on my project! I particularly enjoyed the CSS Transform and Grids lessons. I recommend this workshop for anyone wanting a little more practice with CSS!

I really enjoyed doing the SheCodes Workshops. I always wanted to get into coding but found it too intimidating and didn't know where to start. SheCodes provided me with that structure that I've been searching for. The lectures were short, making it easy to follow and absorb all the information. I particularly liked the project deadlines because they kept me committed and disciplined.

Very good and creative. Loved the videos and the challenges. It was frustrating and tiring at times, coding is not easy but I am happy I learn something new, and maybe I can put it to use in the future. Overall, I particularly enjoyed the number of resources and pages available to us and the many opportunities to actually submit our projects. Assistance was also always there when I needed it. Thanks to the team for the experience.

This is hight interesting module with a lot of tricks! I guess it still a lot of things to learn, but if you are doing it step-by-step and practice everyday - everything is possible. This module is about how to make your site responsive to different types of devices, how to be creative and try different ways to make your project look good. I hope to expand on my gained knowledge. After years of working in design and animation, I felt the need to step up my game and give a try on coding. SheCodes has been an amazing platform for women like me who wants to level up a career in tech. This workshop has made me feel comfortable and confident enough not only to design but also to implement my own website project plus I can do it responsive!
