I am honestly shocked at how much i've learned and the projects I was able to complete. Coding is no easy task and the thought of it always made think " absolutely not". But I did it, there's so much more to learn but I did this first step and I couldn't be more proud of myself. Thank you SheCodes !
In just ten days I went from a complete beginner to building my own project!
Finishing each workshop and being able to look back on my first project has been awesome! I truly feel like I'm not only learning new skills but I'm also significantly improving the one's I learned in the first workshop. This program has been truly amazing and I can't wait to start on React!
I really enjoyed the React course! As always, Matt's explanations are clear and thorough. I liked that we were able to build two projects in this course, especially the dictionary application was quite fun. There's a lot to learn with React and I look forward to honing my skills.
SheCodes Responsive has been my favorite group so far! Everything is clicking into place and I can work through the challenges and final project must faster! I look forward to the next workshop.
Admittedly, I was a little overwhelmed at first. However, while I was working on the project, I felt like all of the elements I had learned during the course came together. Creating content about material that I am knowledgeable of pushed me to develop a page that I am proud to share.

It's a very complicated but interesting experience of building a project in React.
I had so much fun doing this project and learned so much throughout this workshop. I had tried coding before but unfortunately, I would always find it boring, Thankfully Shecodes made the learning process fun and interesting. Now I am looking forward to starting Shecodes plus. It's been awhile since I've done something that had me wanting to do it day and night, but SheCodes had me wanting to start coding the moment I woke up. I started from knowing zero about coding to making my own project with just the basic skills. This course kept my ADHD brain focused and explained in a way that anyone would understand. I'm very proud of myself for the first time in a long time and it feels wonderful. Thanks so much , SheCodes!!
This was a very intense course but worth it. Definitely not easy but once you understand how it really works its actually interesting. For a person with 0 coding skills and to be able to built this project its a very proud moment.Thank you sheCodes it was a very fruitful 8 weeks.
Another milestone covered- I take a look at my project and still find it hard to believe that this was a person with no coding knowledge about 3 months ago.
This was a fun workshop to learn how to create a responsive site with multiple pages! I created my portfolio to showcase my projects with the skills I learned in this workshop. Cannot wait to add more to my portfolio!
I completed the initial Basics workshop and decided to keep going with SheCodes Max. The Basics Add-on was the next step. I loved learning more fun CSS & JS properties that I can apply to my next projects and challenge landing pages to spruce them up!
This program was super flexible and convenient. It truly helped me get over my fear of learning to code and broke down the process in a way that was easy to understand and engaging but still challenging. Each correctly completed exercise that preceded built my confidence for the homework submissions, and the homework submissions made the final project that much easier to complete. I am eternally grateful to have followed through with SheCodes!
It's the end of my journey. I'm pretty happy and sad because it was a fun and very powerful project. Big thanks to Matt and his team. This workshop gives me a lot of knowledge about what I can do to will be hired.
SheCodes Basics was a good introduction to the world of coding. I appreciated all the challenges along the way. Being able to watch tutorials and then put those ideas into action really helped me learn. The projects and homework were my favorite because I felt like those allowed me to create and problem solve independently. Great course so far - looking forward to what is next.
It's been fun 5 weeks. I've been given a lot of useful information that makes coding easier and more advanced. Can't wait to start working on new projects to place them in my portfolio.

Working on this project was so much fun ! I notice that having a little bit of experience helps :) If a few months ago I would be really concerned whenever a bug comes up or I get stuck , now I know that most bugs have a solution or a reason, it's just the mind which needs a break. Leaving the project for a while only to return to it with fresh concertation power works like magic for me. Happy coding to all!
React was certainly more challenging but in a good way. You get to see the difference between each workshop. React is more complex but Matt guides you and explains every single step for the projects. You get to learn and understand the each step for the components and every code. Also, the slack channel also helps you understand and add any new code you like to add to your project.
Hands on projects make it easy to learn!
I was nervous when I started the course and it was a bit daunting at first as I had no idea at all how to code before this. By the end of the course, I felt a lot more confident with what I was doing and enjoyed making my final project. Would love to go on and try the next courses when I have time in my crazy schedule

I kept seeing people post about the SheCodes workshops anytime I looked up coding workshops. I am so glad I decided to join the SheCodes community. The lessons were very informative and easy to follow. I love that there was a challenge after the lessons. It allowed me to practice what I learned and apply what I learned to the homeworks and project. Anytime I had questions I was able to reach out to peers and the SheCodes team. I have learned a whole new set of skills all thanks to SheCodes! It is so worth it, what are you waiting for?!
So glad to have continued my study of coding. Things started to click more in SheCodes Responsive. Doing the projects brought back my love for graphic design, my major in high school. I can't wait to start the next section.
This Basic Add On was such a great work experience. I learned so much and there is so much for coding. I felt like I put a lot of the learning challenges into this project. Would recommend to do this add on as I feel like that there is so much to do with coding.

We did it anyway! The wonderful ShΠ΅Π‘odes project allowed me to get acquainted with Web development, and this allows me to now plan my further professional path. Development was sometimes fun, and sometimes it was not easy. Thanks to the support of the team, everything worked out! Matt Delac explains the theory perfectly, gives a lot of examples, students have support in Slack I recommend this course to anyone who wants to tie their career into Web Development and is unsure where to start.
Massively enjoyed this workshop and had a lot of fun completing the final project and sharing my love for mechanical keyboards with others!
Initially, I was afraid that I couldn't keep up because I'm a total beginner. To my surprise, the instructions in the video lectures are very easy to follow! The more I learn, the more I'm looking forward to learning new ways to code. Creating my project from scratch is a total eye-opener and it definitely has helped me to be more confident in coding my website going forward.

I gained how to switch between two themes, which is a really useful ability from The Basics Add-On. It was fascinating to learn about, and I can't wait to use it in my upcoming projects. I encountered some obstacles, but I got beyond them. I must admit that Javascript still causes me some discomfort, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. I enjoyed how Matt explains various methods; he doesn't simply demonstrate the code; he actually explains the reasoning behind it. I am looking forward to SheCodes Plus!
I truly enjoyed to learn more from Basic Add-on as I was looking forward to the next subject to learn after React weeks finished. It was nice chance to go back to Basic weeks to refresh my memory with some fun challenges and project.

I really enjoyed this workshop. It was a love-hate relationship with bootstrap when I first learned it during the SheCodes Plus. However, after these responsive sessions- I get it, and I can't get enough of bootstrap. The final project really encouraged me to attempt to design and build a starter portfolio that I am really proud of. I can't wait to continue learning and just making new projects and improving my old ones.
Great and interesting course. Step by step you build your own project by using your knowledge from the Basic Course and learning new things.
This was by far the toughest project, but I am glad I was able to get through it with the help of Matt and the SheCodes support team. I look forward to learning more and getting more comfortable with React π±

This was a fun workshop. I learned lots of practical things and I really enjoyed working on the final project.
Even though I know I wasn't the best at this it still gave me time to process everything and keep pushing forward. I had a down week but was still able to get an extension and finish my homework and final project for the new deadline, it really is a flexible course and is worth trying, nothing in life is easy but this is definitely worth pushing for.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus course, building upon everything learned in Basics. It was so satisfying to build a project from scratch and see the workflow from start to finish. It gave me a huge sense of accomplishment to create an actual real working app!! I can't wait to learn more!
There is no word for describing the power of SheCodes team in teaching you easy and effectively. If you do not know what is code even, you can start with them. short and effective videos, organized details, and a real project that can increase your ability so sudden. I LOVE SHECODES
The React projects were the hardest yet but, as always, the content is delivered in a way that breaks concepts up into manageable chunks. It's so satisfying to see the project grow and things work after battling through such complex coding tasks! I've never been more proud of seeing a task through even though at times I found it very challenging. I'm glad to have had Matt's great videos and the SheCodes team available to help guide me when I was stuck.

It was a great experience to build my personal portfolio website! While building the final project was challenging, I managed to make it through to the end. I can't wait to continue my coding journey with SheCodes.
Althouth it was very difficult to work with and finish my final project because of great problems in Ukarainian electrical power system and caused instant interruptions of electricity, - I've done it! Matt and his videos - was as a ray of light in our black days )
I found shecodes after dropping a college courses on HTML & CSS. Shecodes let me learn at my own pace and provided me projects to keep the learning fun. I would definitely recommend shecodes to a friend.
This course was a great introduction to coding! I knew literally nothing about coding before I started this class and now I feel like I have the basics that I need to understand front-end development. I appreciated the challenges and the videos explaining the solution. I had a lot of fun with my final project and hopefully can find time to complete the more advanced courses in the future.

I had a great time creating and working on my Portfolio project
I currently am a teacher but I am looking to transfer to a profession outside of the classroom. I found SheCodes through a teacher transition Facebook group and took the free intro class. I decided to try the Basics course to see if coding was something I could even begin to explore as I had zero prior experience. The course was very easy to follow and manageable to commit to even while working full time. I felt so proud of myself as I accomplished each challenge and homework assignment and even more proud to have completed my first project! I definitely will sign up for another course to gain even more skills and confidence in myself!
A great project, I learnt several new skills as well as putting into practice skills from the Plus workshop.
This course was more difficult for me than the first one, but I tried to understand everything. I still have a lot to learn on my own to do what we did in the final project. But I hope to keep moving forward with SheCodes.
I have learned CSS, HTML, and Javascript with SheCodes and I loved it. I felt it is like a game and most of the time I was like: "Let's go play some designing game!" I am particularly into the project, making a website from the first to what I wanted was so interesting. It was so much fun that I couldn't stop it.
