SheCodes Responsive was very interesting and gave a lot of helpful information for making my projects look better. I was very excited to build my own portfolio.

The SheCodes team's knowledge never fails to impress me. Honestly, I would not be able to complete this project without Matt, the slack community, and the SheCodes team help. After completing SheCodes Basics workshop, I felt accomplished and motivated to keep going. SheCodes Plus was really intense and a roller coaster of emotions, at the same time that I was happy with my progress, I was also panicking trying to find what was causing my code to break (it was misplaced dash btw). To me this workshop feels a lot more "professional", but just like SheCodes Basics, it was so easy to follow the lessons, and there is always someone to help if needed. The lessons are short and straightforward, you can watch as many times as you want and take breaks whenever you feel tired. I love the way you can just sit and learn, this entire workshop was really a privilege.

Loved the flow of the additional project for the basic course. Figuring out the dark theme was a little tricky to switch back and forth but being able to code along with the videos always helps with the understanding and application of the code making it a seamless learning process. ❤️

I am so glad that I have the opportunity to study in the SheCodes project. I find the entire content to be very well-organized and easy to understand. I had some coding experiences before but this one was totally different. The team is amazing. It is very comforting and inspiring to have them ready to help all the time. You have access to other participants' projects and it's a wonderful opportunity to learn more. The community is active on Slack and it's growing constantly. Above all, I think the most valuable part of the project is the Delac Foundation which supports women in need all around the world. They offer their programs to a lot of women completely for free. I am grateful for every thing you do SheCodes, and I highly recommend you to everyone who feels a little spark inside for coding.

It was a lot of fun adding onto my knowledge from SheCodes Basics. The final project looked very professional. It was a challenge, but a very rewarding experience! I would highly recommend it.

Great project as usual! I learned a lot of new things, like how to use CSS filters and it was brilliant learning how to costumise grids without Bootstrap

The Responsive Add-on project is definitely not walking on a cake. It was super challenging. I am learning as well as having fun with codes. Thank you so much Matt and team for always pulling our hands when we are about to drown in frustration. The reiteration of codes in different projects is always giving me confidence to try new codes, fail, rectify until I succeed.

I really enjoyed this course. During the course we had to work on a project which was very helpful and gave me a better understanding of api.

SheCodes responsive is full of insight and takes you out of your comfort zone I like the challenges and am ready to take on other projects to practice what i learned.

Another project, done! I am very pleased with how much I am learning from SheCodes and how exciting it is when I submit another project. These add-on projects are perfect in allowing you to use a lot of what you have learned in the past to create something new.

SheCodes Plus is a great experience for me. I learned a lot while working on weather forecasting project. It requires consistency and patience to complete the workshop and developing the project from scratch to a fully functional version of it. Matt has given great insights on planning, designing, development of a project and industry best practices. I also got to know about InVision freehand tool, Bootstrap framework, DevOps and How to continuously develop and deploy project using GitHub and Netlify. After completing SheCodes Plus I feel more confident in frontend web development and excited to learn more and improve my skills.

The Dictionary is very interesting to build, even more so for someone in love with languages, words and meanings! I liked learning to integrate the 2 APIs used in this project a lot. The moment when the console gets a response is magical!

I'm so glad I did the add-on! I feel like it really put me to the task with my knowledge from the previous workshop and I got to learn and try some new things, too! If you're a little unsure about doing the add-on, I'd recommend going for it because you have nothing to lose and so much to gain (like another portfolio piece and several new concepts in html, css, and java). I also leveraged the lessons to build final project with Matt throughout the add-on, so it's not a heap load of work after finishing the lessons.

This was a very challenging course but was really enjoyable. I am so pleased with my final project, I never thought I could create something like this!

Building the Weather App was such a fun project! I thoroughly enjoyed learning the skills & techniques, then applying them to create a working app. The moment when everything just 'clicks' is super satisfying! 🤩 Another great workshop by the SheCodes team 😁

This was challenging, yet fun! At one point, I did become stuck and wanted to just forget about completing the workshop. However, the SheCodes community is behind you with assistance to help you become unstuck and keep moving! When I completed the project and saw what I accomplished, I was indeed proud of myself for not quitting midway.

I would not have believed you if you told me I could learn to code, even just the fundamentals, in three weeks. SheCodes has been phenomenal. It truly makes learning enjoyable, with excellent projects that are both challenging and fun.

I have loved every minute of this workshop, diving into some advanced HTML/CSS/JavaScript. It was not easy, but the clear explanations and encouraging words of Matt, and the support of the supportteam on Slack really help you get through. The knowledge I gained and the results of the final project are amazing and really motivate me to learn more! I'm ready for the next workshop! :)

Working on this weather app has been so much fun! After doing the Basic course, I am once again mind blown of how much fun coding is. It was a great challenge, but still manageable to solve. Exited for the next project!

SheCodes Plus Add-on project was a great way to learn about time and dates and learn a few new tricks working with CSS, HTML, and Javascript.

I have thoroughly enjoyed what I have learned in these past 3 weeks. I started not knowing how to code in HTML at all, and now have made 2 projects on my own. I now feel comfortable creating a portfolio to showcase my work and start applying for jobs! I plan to return and enroll in SheCodes plus as soon as I can! This is an amazing program, I have referred others as well!

I would 100% recommend the Basic add on project, it's fun to apply the skills from SheCodes Basic, whilst learning a few more on this course. And it doesn't take too long to complete. Thanks SheCodes team 😊

The was a very challenging but exciting project I have worked on this week!

The SheCodes React Workshop was next level for me. It felt like week 1 of the first workshop, and at the end of it now, I feel equipped, inspired, and confident in my next project(s) and endeavors. I am grateful for this space to grow, with an incredible support and care team and teacher! Thank you to all my fellow SheCoders who asked questions so I could learn from you as well. This is only the beginning of my coding journey.

I have just completed this workshop which I found to be very helpful and also challenging. Its certainly a step up from shecodes basics but you learn so much more especially in the context of javascript and API's. I now feel confident in making other similar projects using all the technologies that I have learnt.

Loved this project!

This was a challenging but well-paced course. It was great being able to code alongside Matt while also having the ability to flex my own web design skills. I loved it even when it was a bit challenging! It was a great progression from the previous course and I felt that I learnt a lot of comprehensive tools that I am able to apply to future projects!

I enjoyed the SheCodes Basics Workshop a lot. All the content and resources have been helpful to get me through the lessons and projects. I'm looking forward to continue with the other workshops.

SheCodes offers well-structured easy to digest material on a very pretty website. I enjoyed it very much. But to me, even more valuable than the study material is the network aspect of SheCodes. You get to see other students projects that you are about to work on. Its very important that other students are of the same level as you are, so you dont get intimidated as a newbie. You can actually feel like you can do the work they did and get inspired. And of course you are encouraged to connect with those students on slack, and it can be done in few clicks. Another important mention is the Delac Foundation effort to support refugees. They offer their program for free to a lot of women, which is admirable. I am thankful to your team for the work you do. Its a good program. Its very manageable. I would recommend it.

I had such fun time learning and doing the projects. Gradually I realized although coding is a bit challangeable, is not impossible and the way it is taught throughout the course just made me motivated enough wanting to dive in coding and keeping on learning more and actually having fun doing so. Even getting stuck has its benefits, you'll always learn something. I highly recommend SheCodes!

This course makes me fall in love with coding even more. Lessons are short and very clear. There is also a lot of practice, so it is easy to understand and assimilate the information. Also now I'm starting to understand the construction and logic of coding, and not just copy actions. I built my first project from memory.

I really enjoyed the add-on, especially learning about the magic of Moment.js. The instructions were spot on as usual and I really liked building a world clock. Great project and really proud of how far I have come.

SheCodes Basics helped me a lot in understanding and writing html, css and js codes. I feel proud of myself to be able to do my first project with everything learnt from SheCodes Basics Workshop. I loved how all the content of the courses are well organized and detailed. Instructor Matt explains the material in a way that everything seems understandable and doable. Looking forward to learn more advanced topics and do more projects with upcoming workshops.

I cannot believe that I have gained the knowledge and skills to create a fully functional weather app. With each new project I complete, I feel an overwhelming amount of accomplishment for myself. Continuing my coding journey with SheCodes has been rewarding and a lot of fun, and I am ready to code a lot more during the start of the new year!!

I loved the lessons. It was successful in getting me motivated and actually learning the basics of coding without having to feel overwhelmed. Doing the final project made me want to go further and learn more!

It had been a very good journey with SheCodes so far, the lecture videos were very interesting and informative. And it was super easy to learn from the videos. I enjoyed completing all the challenges and the project was also very interesting .

A very informative workshop that can be done by anyone. You do not need to have any prior coding knowledge or experience to be able to complete the tasks and the projects. Everything is explained very well by Matt.

There’s a lot of information online nowadays that it can be hard to know where to start. SheCodes ended up being a good place for me to start because of how it’s structured. It’s helpful how each week is broken down into different lessons and challenges, that makes it easier to grasp the different languages you are learning. It’s awesome to see the results of everything you have learned through your final project. I’m excited to continue learning.

SheCodes always has a good step-by-step approach to challenging projects, very interactive and motivating!

The add-on projects are great for extra practice and deepening knowledge of concepts.

I enjoyed this course very much, for someone new to coding, this workshop was fairly easy to follow. Each task allowed me to practice and advance my coding skills; the instructor did an amazing job explaining the content in a short but comprehensive way. Specifically, creating the weather app for the final project was a really fun challenge.

This was a great additional project.

I loved working on this project and the freedom to choose any topic we are passionate about. Ever since I remember, I have been inspired by creative people, those who seem to be thinking differently , those who bring fresh ideas in the world, while being immersed in the world. I think that this way of living is extremely interesting. I dedicated this project to some of the creative minds I have learned from to listen, see and think.

Believe it or not, I was skeptical (at first). I did not envision this introductory coding workshop to be THIS fun! I really enjoyed it from beginning to end! 10/10! 😊 Not only did they reinforce what were taught during the lessons, the weekly challenges and final project allowed for creativity, and actually motivated me to enjoy the coding experience even more! Slack was amazing as well! As someone with limited coding skills, these hands-on lessons gave me the confidence, now, coding in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and not scare me away! Thank you, Matt & the SheCodes Team!

The additional project was really helpful to practice the basics of React and to get more hands-on experience with a real project. I enjoyed working on this application and can recommend adding this add-on to the SheCodes Pro workshops.

SheCodes is really well structured, with short lessons and challenges after each lesson, it gives you the right pace and constance, keeping your attention span high and, mostly, your motivation to keep going and always want to learn more and more. No need to sit glued to your chair taking boring, hours-long lessons that get you nowhere... Coding is mostly PRACTICE and Matt knows it well, taking the education system to another level: smart, fun and productive, focusing on quality over quantity, as lessons are short but they give you ALL the tools you need to start coding on your own. SheCodes learning path is as simple as it is effective, and it is "programmed" for literally anyone. In only three weeks I was able to build a project which I really love and I am very proud of. And last but not least, the SheCodes Community is always there to whatever difficult you may encounter and is so supportive! Thank you SheCodes, I'd recommend it to anyone!

SheCodes workshops were easy to follow and learn for beginner like me who have no knowledge about coding before. I enjoyed the lessons and the projects.

She codes plus was great to expand some more basic concepts of Javascript! The project was really fun to make and had a great time.

SheCodes Basic has kickstarted my journey to web coding. Matt made the lessons easy to understand, and the challenges were constructive. Though working on my final project was a struggle, it was an enriching learning experience. I definitely recommend it to those who want to learn new skills. To have been able to go from not knowing really anything about putting an engaging webpage together, to implementing the information right away in challenges and hw projects. It was that kind of practice that really solidified the material for me. I feel like I can just sit around and whip up a quick and simple landing page from start to finish, while getting really creative with it's interaction with the user visually as well as functionally!

Well-structured videos, you never get bored, if you have any struggles, you can always get help on slack. I had amazing 5 weeks, and I am so proud of myself completing the final project. Highly recommend and waiting to start next workshop!

I had such a fun week during the Responsive add-on. I felt I was able to learn something very useful through the real life project which I really love to design, color etc. I can get more creative with these skills and enjoy coding everyday. I don't know what is coming for the React add-on weeks however, I believe I will be happy to learn more!

Just completed one more amazing WorkShop from SheCodes: React. It was new and challenging, I followed step by step Matt's lessons and then watched them again and again and redid the project few times but in the end I did it! Thank you for the great opportunity to learn and believe in myself.

I enjoyed learning about different programming languages other than R and Python, having experience in both helped me understand HTML, CSS, and Javascript more easily. I greatly enjoyed the creative aspect of CSS with all of the aesthetics that could be altered for the project. I also both hated and enjoyed functions in JavaScript and enjoyed learning from both Matt and looking for information and tutorials online. This was an enlightening experience and I have to say - more fun than function writing in Python.

I learned a lot during these 8 weeks, the structure and pace of the course can be challenging but the many interesting exercises make the learning process smoother and help structurize all the newly acquired information and skills. The final project - a practical weather app - helped me further fall in love with coding

SheCodes Basics is a great place to start your coding journey. I found the course interesting and helpful. Working on my project was really rewarding.

I LOVED SheCodes Responsive. It's really exciting to learn how to make content responsive, especially in this mobile device heavy world. It was really fun being able to build a functional personal website as well. As always, Matt did a fantastic job at clearly explaining everything but allowing you to put your own spin on the project as well.
