Responsive Course made it possible to correct errors in the display of the project, which used to be so frustrating.It gave me new skills to make the site adaptive to mobile devices and to learn more about Bootstrap.
The best course I have ever taken! Love the explanation and a choice of project work. React was a bit difficult for me, but I understood everything that Matt talked about and successfully managed my Weather Project and Dictionary Project. In addition I made them responsive. I will definitely recommend to take React course after Responsive, trust me ^^
The workshop was definitely great. And I enjoyed learning and doing a real project at the same time. There was great support when we faced any issue and the method of teaching was also great.
The course is great for beginners. Thank you very much to the team of SheCodes and to the teacher Matt for the knowledge which was received. I enjoyed learning and doing my homework. Sometimes it was difficult (especially the last big project lol) but it doesn't mean that it wasn't enjoyable. The team via email and on Slack was very nice and helpful.

Highly recommended workshop! I had a lot of fun learning all the steps leading up to the final project. My pivot from the world of Education to Technology was swift and rewarding. I found that you can start over many times, in tech, as each new language requires a new understanding. SheCodes made an immediate impact on my ability to understand the foundations of coding in HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Matt took his time to explain each new project and the layout supports the learning path. I did this to prove to myself that I am capable and to better understand the Engineers I support on a daily basis. I recommend this to anyone looking to pick up a new tech stack, quickly. I got basic knowledge and a lot of practice. But many exercises for practice are not used in real projects.

I like this courses and this challenge, it's allow me to gain new skills. I make my own weather app, liked this process so mush. This was a really fun project and I look forward to using it as a way to show my progress! This really got me into a design mindset and figuring out how to utilise design tools and really think about the process of committing changes and planning ahead. The deadlines give structure and I was happy to finally finish! On to React!

It was a difficult and challenging journey but the whole process led to creation of this final project. I'm glad I did it. I have gained skills to make multiple sites which is working and it is only fuels to continue this path :)

Great refresher for basic HTML, CSS, and JS. It's suitable for people who have never coded beforeβgreat explanations, homework assignments, and projects that keep you accountable throughout the course. The only reason for my 3/5 stars is because I already knew how to the content in this particular course. Skip this course, however, if you recently learned HTML, CSS, and JS and have a good grasp of the fundamentals. I suggest you proceed with the higher-level curriculum.
Loved SheCodes Basic! Short and straightforward videos with clear explanations and simple examples specifically designed training material for beginners and advanced students alike. Extra info with links at the bottom of each video where you can learn more. Who knew that it would be more difficult to decide on the colors you want to use for your final project than the coding part itself π . Good thing Matt has a solution for that too with SheCodes Color Palettes and CSS Gradients. Thank you Matt & SheCodes team!
I really enjoyed this course and I am looking forward to progressing onto the next one. I had absolutely no coding experience before this, but I found Matt's teaching very clear and concise. Really excited for future projects within SheCodes, and beyond!

I really appreciate the step-by-step process of this course. I feel like learning and practicing in steps and then later on applying it into a project is really helpful. I also enjoy the organization of the program and feel adequate enough to know where to look for help and where to find references in order to support in my learning.

I highly recommend this course. Because he helped to deepen all the topics that I did not understand. Also, everything is explained in an accessible way and there is an opportunity to practice on good ideas for a project.
SheCodes Plus was definitely more challenging than SheCodes Basics. However, the SheCodes community was encouraging and helpful. During this course I had another severe asthma exacerbation, and it was such a relieve that I could continue to work on my project from the comfort of my own home. I was also able to make a friend during this course that was a huge support. I feel truly accomplished with my weather app! and I'm so excited for what is coming next!
I want to say a huge thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for these incredible workshops!!! Everything was very clear and interesting. I liked the third week of study the most, during which I did a project, I did my FIRST project BY MYSELF.
I would never have imagined I would build a weather app by myself in 8 weeks, I just learned so much, thanks Matt & SheCodes Team! I loved the fact that the lessons were focused on the project. Sometimes the content was though but it's part of it. The most important for me: I really enjoyed working on the weather app!

SheCodes+ was a complex, yet fun and informative workshop. There were times when I struggled, but it was pretty exciting whenever I found the solutions myself. It was also extremely helpful having support whenever I needed it. Matt's lessons were easy to understand and I enjoyed being hands-on in the project. I am very excited to continue learning with SheCodes and I hope that I can transition to tech very soon!
The course's format is efficient: frequent challenges, weekly homework and final projects alongside with clear instructions from the instructor; very supportive technician team giving quick solutions/explanation. I have learnt a lot by practicing almost daily.
An extremely fun course that helped me learn so much new stuff and create a fantastic project by the end of it!
To be honest I didn't want to apply for this workshop, because I thought it would be boring. But how mistaken I was! The SheCodes Responsive is full of REALLY important rules and tips on how to make the projects look well on their mobile version. Now I enjoy scrolling the pages of my portfolio from my iphone. I thought this was a great introduction to React! I actually enjoyed using react more than I expected. I'm looking forward to learning more about it and how to use it in current projects for future jobs.
Very happy with the whole program but particularly with the React module as I got to learn to be more efficient and practical. The two projects were challenging but also quite fun and I know feel more confident in my skills and capabilities. Coding with react was tricky at first but quite intuitive overall and I am looking forward to continue learning.
I've found this course very enjoyable to work on, I've loved seeing practical demonstrations of my knowledge expanding and the course material has been really easy to follow along with. The resources that come with access to the workshop have also been incredibly useful! I really loved working on my dice rolling project and can't wait to continue learning more JavaScript, CSS, HTML and strengthening my knowledge. I'm going to ensure the page actually represents my vision properly by continuing to work on the project even though it's been submitted!

I still can't believe I've done my final project on the SheCodes Basic. My profession is not connected to IT at all. I thought I wouldn't ever be able even to understand coding. But Matthieu explaines everything so simply and easily so it motivates you to begin. It's so inetesting and exciting and challenging at the same time. I found this to be the most helpful SheCodes workshop in the curriculum! React is quickly being adopted across industries - there is a definite need for these skills. I felt Matt went through the course well and having two projects made it much easier to see how React can be applied. The technical assistants responded quickly to questions in Slack and were very knowledgeable - helping me through any issues along the way. I also learned real world skills to be able to troubleshoot issues with my code.

This course was amazing! I had been doing some study on my own but this course really helped me a lot. I love how it with through everything step by step and you immediately test what you learned. I love the homework and the project at the end. I would recommend anyone that wants to learn to code take this course.
I believe that it is an amazing experience to attend SheCodes classes. Moreover, it is so practical for those with a high tendency to learn web codes. I'm extremely satisfied to attend and learn to code professionally. I'm afraid of web coding because in my mind it is so severe and a little of people can learn these skills. Finally, I have an awesome weather project in web coding which share in GitHub.
Matt and the Shecodes team are doing awesome work. I struggled a bit with React but I watched the videos step by step again and understood. It feels great to have completed these projects.
I've always wanted to learn more about coding but, wrongly, I thought it was closely linked to math and that was enough to scare me off. I've attended to a workshop months ago held by my my employer, where there was this girl talking about how exciting the life of a Front End developer is and that she learned it from scratch, highlighting that no math's involved in the process. I then came across SheCodes and a huge THANK YOU is due. Matt is a great instructor, thanks for your effort and your revolutionary project and thank you for letting me aware that is never too late! Coding is fun, is a creative process and even when you get stuck, is worth the struggle :)
SheCodes is the best project to start in IT. Here you not only learn, you also create your own projects. An excellent teacher Matt Delac and an excellent team SheCodes will always support you! I really enjoyed this course! I think it's great for people like me who are not able to concentrate for a really long period of time. The lessons were short and easy to understand, while the little coding projects were really fun. This is the first course that I actually ever finished, and let me tell you I learned a lot of new things. I really recommend this workshop to people who want to try something that sparks their creativity while also teaching them new things.

This workshop was really awesome, I learned how to make my projects responsive and SEO friendly. All information was clear. So now I'm looking forward to continue course and to start learning React.
This workshop really helped me better understand the CSS principles as well as practice my Bootsrap and Flexbox knowledge. I was happy to work on my portfolio project and look forward to continue studying JS React.
The first week was so my favourite, I learned sooo much in such a short amount of time. I'm not sure what I expected going into this but didn't expect to make such a beautiful final project.

Doing the SheCode basic course has helped me to test and prove that this world is interesting for me and that it can be "within my reach and capabilities" if there is routine and effort. It is an interactive and useful way to learn the basics of web development, which can be applied in the future to any project I have in mind.

I'm nowhere near the end is what I told myself a few months ago and today, I am proud to announce I have been able to complete my final project for this workshop. Learning the skills I need to nurture my career in tech has been a source of motivation for me. It was an 8-week journey full of fun! We moved extremely fast, but had enough time to work on our final project. In the end, my Weather Forecast App looks pretty the same as in my sketch in the beginning. And it's inspiring!

Iβve done a couple of coding courses online in the past and I have loads of ideas. But I get overwhelmed and Iβm not good at my code writing. So I still felt stuck. After getting into Shecodes Basic workshop for just this few weeks, I am able to write codes and even create my own pages because the way the teaching and lessons are been delivered including the homework's has given me some direction and motivation to sort out myself in coding. Shecodes teaching is simple, yet detailed, and I love the huge number of examples in this course. I had not realized how powerful examples are. The examples help teach me all the basics i needed to know to be able to code, and Iβm starting to create my own pages. Many courses promise to give step-by-step guidance but still leave you wondering what to do next. Shecodes course is different. At the end of the course, I knew what to do. Iβve just finished my project work and hoping I would be creating more of those work so as to become familiar with the basics of coding. Thank you, Shecodes. Iβm super-grateful for this course and making my dream come true.
I had some experience with HTML and CSS before this course, but Matt really helped me fill in some of the major gaps in my knowledge. I had no experience with JavaScript and was pretty scared of it, but I can't believe how much fun I had using nested if else statements in my final project!
I had no knowledge about coding, at first I thought I can't even pass the first week, but you should keep the pace with the lessons, you should read and study more and get help from admins, from other websites, and also practice, practice and practice. The challenges are fun and thought-provoking; besides, when you send the project and then you'll receive the email from Shecodes that your project is valid, you gain more confidence.
I've been learning frontend basics on HTML, CSS & Javascript. Really appreciate the efforts from SheCodes' teams for making such highly structured courses. Concepts are explained very clearly and I am now able to build my own projects (e.g. currently a page recording my learning journey of pilates) with interactive elements via Visual Studio Code.
React was definitely the trickiest of the workshops, and is 100% worth it. Its amazing to see what can be done with React, and I'll definitely be updating some old projects to implement it
SheCodes opened a new world for me. I never wanted to learn how to code because I had the idea that it was tedious and complicated. Now I love it and can't wait to code my next project. I still have lots to learn about coding, but now I am super excited about it.
