Thanks to Matt and the whole SheCodes team who created detailed and well-explanatory courses and were available to help at any moment along the way, I have gained a solid understanding of coding with JavaScript and React. Within the framework of the workshops, I have built my own portfolio containing various projects. Sometimes it was challenging but always very rewarding! Thank you SheCodes for the knowledge and the great time learning about Front-end Development! Even if this journey has come to an end, I will continue coding with confidence and excitement! Highly recommended to women who want to challenge themselves and start a new career path.

My very first coding projectβa simple but structured portfolio page to showcase my work. I focused on clean HTML semantics and CSS styling, including flexbox for layout. Though basic, this project gave me the foundation to understand how websites are built from the ground up. Skills Applied: HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, responsive basics
This class was a great challenge and really expanded my knowledge of coding and possibilities of front-end development. I really enjoyed creating the Weather App project!

Personally, I find SheCodes React was the most challenging lesson especially the Dictionary App Project. But, the beauty in this is that there's always a room for learning and improving your skills. This course has helped me improve my understanding of JavaScript, which is the coding element that I was struggling to wrap my head around. I feel really proud of my final project and would never have thought I would be able to build, having only learnt to code for such a short time. I found more confidence in using Visual Studio Code, CodeSandBox, Git and GitHub, and I also found the SheCode team very helpful on slack if I needed guidance. I'm now looking forward to the following two courses.

This has been a very challenging project. This is a great introduction to the world of coding, I had to get used to the disappointment of the code I wrote not always working and to asking for help. I wouldn't say that if I had to do it all over again I would be able to, without the help of tech support and Matt's videos. At the same time I have definitely learned a lot about APIs, Github, Sandbox, and everything else introduced in this workshop.
It has been a great challenge! The final project was fun to work on and I am excited to keep learning more.

This is a nice simple course to refresh myself and the deadlines with the course were helpful to push me along in my journey. I like how you go through everything step by step and put it all together at the end with the end project.

I've learnt programming in university but I've always struggled with it and never felt comfortable doing projects. I recognize my weaknesses so I decided to sign up for the SheCodes Basics course and at first I was a little apprehensive but as the classes progressed I realized that the way Matt explains the theory is quite intuitive, which makes the process a lot easier. The challenges that are also proposed at the end of all classes are essential to consolidate the knowledge I acquired. I really enjoyed the course and will certainly sign up for the next one. It is with great pleasure that I can say that after this course I learned to like programming and it no longer scares me!!
This was my final SheCodes course, and probably the one I enjoyed the most. I had fun learning React and solving problems while working on my two projects. If I were to look back to when I started, I can appreciate how far I got and while my coding journey doesn't end with SheCodes, I'm happy it was a big part of my development into the world of coding. π©π»βπ» Matt explained the concepts clearly and I would definitely recommend the React course if you already enjoyed vanilla JS.
Shecodes responsive was an excellent workshop for learning basic responsive design and SEO techniques. It does not focus much on javascript, although you can add your little twist to the end project and include some JS if you wish to. I liked that it also gave a quick intro to commonly used tools, such as Figma, and it also did a recap on other concepts we learned on Shecodes plus.
Interesting and exciting task to create a real project. It inspires to learn more to be able to create such things. Good explanations guide you through step by step and help to understand how it works and created. Can't wait to continue my journey in the world of Web developing. Thanks a lot for such opportunity!

I can recommend this workshop to everyone! Make sure you take the time to focus on the assignments. Once you know how to work with it, it is really fun and great! I caught myself making adjustments and playing with the final project as you can freestyle and create beautiful pages. You lose track of time enjoying this. All lessons are explained well and are easy to follow.
This is my 2nd SheCodes workshop. I would recommend this workshop if you are looking to advance your basic knowledge of coding and web development. I really enjoyed learning more complex elements of JavaScript that I didn't know before. I must admit that I felt a bit of disappointment at the very last lesson. Throughout the entire workshop, I was expecting to learn how to add code to convert the weekly forecast for our weather projects into Fahrenheit & Celsius. Instead, the last lesson has us removing the unit conversions entirely from the web page & saying that it is too complex to do for this workshop. I would have really liked to see how to do this. Despite that, I am proud of the web page I built and found this to be another great workshop!

I always thought that coding is not for me and that it was totally black magic. After being frustrated with not finding the right job, I jokingly said to myself 'Maybe it's time to learn how to code... cause this at least seems to be in demand these days.' I followed this thought, signed up and definitely don't regret it! I really enjoyed the course, and at the very end creating the final project was pure fun! :) I liked the structure of the workshops - the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Tasks were challenging sometimes but not too difficult. 10/10! :)
This part of the workshop was much more challenging and some lessons were even difficult to grasp but it was very well explained, I only had to watch the lesson again and practice to get the handle of it. It all felt very rewarding by the time I finished this project. Highly recommend this! Support has been amazing.

There were inevitably moments through the course that I thought I'd fallen off the tracks, but in the next moment Matt would be breaking it down and explained so well that it brought me back up again. I have had a great experience building Weather and Dictionary App. React is pretty advanced stuff and I spent hours finding the best appropriate solutions for the projects. The tasks were rather brainstorming and challenging. But I managed to cope with them. Thanks to SheCodes!

Coding is proving to be quite challenging, but with the step-by-step teaching style as well as plenty of projects to apply everything you learn as you go, it doesn't feel too overwhelming.

SheCodes Responsive Workshop is amazing one. When I was working on my project I had several challenges and sometimes it wasn't easy to find out where the mistake was. But it was really worth my time and efforts. I had fun and I really enjoyed this workshop.
Enjoyed the first 6 weeks. The last 2 weeks were not a informative for overall understanding of coding. Only yo create the project.
This platform and project gave me motivation, now what I did not know about a month ago is lined up in a chain of knowledge and inspiration. I hope this is just the beginning of a long journey.

I faced difficult tasks: to develop a weather application and a dictionary application in React.js. For me it was very interesting because the projects have practical application. I myself use such applications and I have always been interested in how it works from the inside. Thanks to Meth and the team for the helpful projects and for support during their realization.
I liked working on this course! Earlier I thought that programming was completely boring, difficult, and not about me, but participation in the course SheCodes Basics convinced me that it is not so! Matt is a great lecturer who helps to realize any desire, in reality, believe in yourself and create something incredible. I very much liked to do homework and I got pleasure from coding the project. SheCodes Plus is an incredible course and I absolutely loved the in-depth lessons and challenges that this workshop provides. It has given me a chance to get more creative with my own projects and I was able to significantly expand my knowledge about coding.
What I particularly like about the course is 'step-by-step' approach to teaching and mentoring. The course is split into lessons, each comes with amount of information just right to understand and use. A lot of scaffolding and support from the team really help to make new complex ideas easy to comprehend. Every new thing I was learning I put into practice right away while working on the course project. By the end of the course, I had created a working web app and it was even a little sad to finish the project and the course but I also have a great feeling of accomplishment. Coding needs continues learning that is why after graduating Shecodes basics I enrolled into Shecodes plus to learn more and gain some skills. I learned a lot during this course.
