I loved learning about making a light/dark theme for the website. I feel like it is definitely something I will want to incorporate into other projects, like the weather app. As always, these courses are very easy to follow and push me to learn new skills.
SheCodes Responsive Workshop is an awesome project which has taught me to use different bootstrap techniques, to get used to committing the changes regularly with GitHub Desktop, to make my projects responsive on different devices and to create SEO-friendly content! I built a weather app using React that shows real-time forecasts for any city. It fetches live data from an API, displays current and future weather conditions, and even includes a dynamic weather icon that changes based on the forecast. Through this project, I strengthened my skills in React hooks (useState, useEffect), API integration, and responsive design. I enjoyed so much this course! It was everything a hoped for and I learned a lot! I'm really happy and proud of my final project!
I did the basic and now the add-on and I learnt quite a few things that were interesting and make the project more fun to do.
Cool project! I wanted to create one function for all default cities, so I've been struggling a little. But, it was worth it, because I'm even more proud of myself right now ππ. I also added a button to change a clock into dark theme β€οΈ. I had super fun, as always π₯°.
It was a little bit procrastinated because of holidays, but I made it. Responsive course was harder, complicated but useful and had so much practice and new skills. I really enjoy and happy to coding this weeks. I feel more advanced and ready to make more difficult projects. Happy to study with SheCodes - the best platform!

This project has been quite tough. Must remember to take some breaks in between and to soldier on! The efforts were paid off and it is so satisfying to see the landing page.

It is really explained very well and in a very basic manner. However this needs a lot of practice. It was really nice to learn all the new ways of achieving the project goal.
The SheCodes Basics Add On Project is very valuable to review everything that has been taught so far and to learn some extras which are really helpful.
It was not an easy course. I felt stuck and couldn't move forward a couple of times, but the Shecodes team and community came to the rescue and helped me through the challenge. Being able to create a Weather App at the end of the course gives me confidence and inspires me for new projects. I am very grateful to Matt and the team for this valuable experience!

Shecodes Plus was definitely challenging but so worth it. I was able to build an amazing weather app and really make it my own. I have always been so scared of coding, it looks so intense. SheCodes made coding not only fun but easy to understand. I found myself so excited to get to the next lesson and learn more. Matt does an amazing job explaining and breaking down all of the areas you need to code successfully. I do not think I have ever taken a course where the homework didn't feel like homework! With SheCodes the weekly homework assignments just added to the experience. The final project was so much fun to piece together. There were definitely moments I got stuck but Matt is an excellent teacher and prepares you with all of the tools you will need to hand in a successful project! I truly enjoyed the course in its entirety.

This course was a nice reprieve from the previous project. It felt like a solid refresher on HTML and CSS while teaching new concepts.
I would recommend doing this project add-on before moving on to Plus. I think doing these in the opposite order made Plus harder for me, but this much easier. All in, I'm thankful to have the opportunity to do another project on the more basic level!

This time the project was very challenging, but with the help of SheCodes I had an opportunity to master my skills.
Another really fun project finished. All though the portfolio will be a work in progress in the coming time too. Like I've said before, I really enjoy learning to code through SheCodes! I will continue to the next project and definitely recommend this training.

This add on was a great addition to the Plus Workshop. I found that following along was fun and easy and when it came to making my project, I knew exactly what to do!
Even with a basic knowledge of front end coding under my belt, I was able to learn a lot of new things. The class and projects are challenging yet fun and the Slacks team and my classmates helped me a bunch when I struggled with a code. Instead of overextending myself, I kept my codes simple like Matt suggested which ultimately helped me not overcomplicate my code and stress myself out.
After finishing SheCodes Plus I feel much more confident looking into the code and trying to produce it myself. It's still definitely a lot to learn but this course gave me not only an understanding that I can learn to code but also some strong basic knowledge which will make my journey easier. It was not easy but so fascinating to see how your work turns into some real app or webpage. I appreciate all the work Matt and his team have done for creating this project.
I have loved completing the SheCodes Basic workshop! Being new to coding, Matt was able to teach the basics very well - It was easy to understand. I am absolutely in awe at what SheCodes has taught me during this workshop! The challenges after every lesson greatly assisted with my understanding of the concepts taught and once I completed the final project, I really felt a sense of accomplishment! I never thought that I would be able to code. I'm a health policy professional-turned-soon-to-be UX/UI designer and developer. I've really wanted a creative way to earn income from home. Coding seemed so intimidating, but in 3 weeks with SheCodes I've built my first website from scratch, have my very first project for a portfolio, and have earned my first certification!
I was so happy to see some new courses! I bought of course all of them because it's soo worth it! π After first project I have to admit, I love to design β€οΈ. I'm not so confident about this, because it's all about being creative. But the more projects you make, the more creative you become. So, I guess, I will continue to do this π.
It is great that I can do this project at my own time. It may look complicated but replaying the videos helped me to understand how to code better.

I loved getting to know better options for responsive webdesign! I definitely loved coding the final project and even though I had some hickups on the way, it's worth pushing through and google is definitely your best friend while learning how to code and even when you already have quite a good understanding on how to do it.

Another SheCodes workshop completed! It was a fun one to search for and try out some web designs, color palettes, and features. So it is a bit less about JavaScript and more about the building blocks of a website and looking through your own work to share in the portfolio project. Ready for the next challenge!

The course was well-structured and the instructor was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I came into the course with very little programming experience, but by the end I felt confident in my ability to write code and solve problems. One of the things I appreciated most about the course was the focus on practical skills. We worked on a variety of projects and exercises that allowed me to apply what I was learning in a real-world context. This made the material much more engaging and helped me to retain the knowledge better. Overall, I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning to code. It's a great way to build a strong foundation in programming and set yourself up for success in your career or future studies. A great experience, what I have been trying to learn for years, here IΒ΄ve learned it in only a month. Every lesson had the exact explanation without going much into detail. The practical side is a plus because with coding you have to practice nonstop. Also, the projects were difficult but itΒ΄s the best method to learn with projects that you have to think about and try every CSS and Html tag. It made coding fun than seeing a bunch of tags all rounded up in columns. Highly recommended!

It was incredible two weeks in the end of which I was able to create a project myself. I always thought programming was something inaccessible to me, but the academy convinced me of the opposite. All lessons are detailed and understandable, very high quality and thanks to this, the training is comfortable and easy. Thanks for such a wonderful experience!

The SheCodes team's knowledge never fails to impress me. Honestly, I would not be able to complete this project without Matt, the slack community, and the SheCodes team help. After completing SheCodes Basics workshop, I felt accomplished and motivated to keep going. SheCodes Plus was really intense and a roller coaster of emotions, at the same time that I was happy with my progress, I was also panicking trying to find what was causing my code to break (it was misplaced dash btw). To me this workshop feels a lot more "professional", but just like SheCodes Basics, it was so easy to follow the lessons, and there is always someone to help if needed. The lessons are short and straightforward, you can watch as many times as you want and take breaks whenever you feel tired. I love the way you can just sit and learn, this entire workshop was really a privilege.
Loved the flow of the additional project for the basic course. Figuring out the dark theme was a little tricky to switch back and forth but being able to code along with the videos always helps with the understanding and application of the code making it a seamless learning process. β€οΈ
I am so glad that I have the opportunity to study in the SheCodes project. I find the entire content to be very well-organized and easy to understand. I had some coding experiences before but this one was totally different. The team is amazing. It is very comforting and inspiring to have them ready to help all the time. You have access to other participants' projects and it's a wonderful opportunity to learn more. The community is active on Slack and it's growing constantly. Above all, I think the most valuable part of the project is the Delac Foundation which supports women in need all around the world. They offer their programs to a lot of women completely for free. I am grateful for every thing you do SheCodes, and I highly recommend you to everyone who feels a little spark inside for coding.

The Responsive Add-on project is definitely not walking on a cake. It was super challenging. I am learning as well as having fun with codes. Thank you so much Matt and team for always pulling our hands when we are about to drown in frustration. The reiteration of codes in different projects is always giving me confidence to try new codes, fail, rectify until I succeed.
