SheCodes really takes you from nothing to something. Even as an absolute beginner like myself, it is easy to understand what is being taught. The exercises after each topic also make one apply what they have learned practically which helps one grasp the information and understand more. I was able to apply all that I learned in the SheCodes basic workshop in order to build my final project. The SheCodes workshops are structured in such a way that you Don learn to forget. I am very happy and I am looking forward to enrolling for the next workshop.

I had so much fun working on this add-on basics project. I loved how the lessons are structured for the week of this project and how I got to work on a specific CSS property after every lesson . So, when it was time to work on the final project, I had already done most of the work through challenges. LOVED it!

SheCodes Basics Add On taught me new skills while practicing skills I learned in the Basics workshop, and helped me to apply them in an additional project. I felt much more confident building this project than the last and am excited to keep practicing while expanding my skill set.
There were so many things that I wished would have been different, that it would take me a really long time to mention them all. Most importantly: I really thing the videos should be revised. There are things that are outdated (like using clearfix) and no longer in use, tools that now have different versions (like bootstrap and netlify) which makes it harder to follow through the videos. But the lowest point is the lack of proper feedback on homework and (even more shocking for me) the final projects. It's "your solution works" kind of feedback. Personally, as someone who is learning to code, it's not *just* about the code working, I could really use feedback on how I could write it more clearly, etc. Otherwise I could just use an html/css/js validator and get pretty much the same answer. It's really a shame and I hope it changes in the future, because otherwise what's the difference between doing this or a full curse on udemy that costs 15€? One really wonders. Also bear in mind that unless you have nothing else going on in your life, 5 days a week is not enough to complete the week.

After 6 months of hard work, I am ecstatic to have completed this coding BootCamp. I am truly amazed at how quickly I was able to learn all of these javascript functions. I knew I was really catching on during the final project when I could pause the video, work ahead, and then watch to be sure I had coded that section correctly. I did get a little burnout along the way and had to take a long break before submitting my project, but thankfully, I was able to push through and complete it. As a full-time working professional and a devoted mother, my days were already filled with numerous responsibilities and commitments. I had always been intrigued by the world of technology and coding but never found the time or the courage to pursue it. However, one day, something within me sparked, and I decided to take a leap of faith. The initial challenges were undoubtedly overwhelming. Balancing work, family, and learning a complex skill like coding seemed like an impossible task. There were moments of self-doubt and frustration when I questioned whether I had made the right choice.
