A mini workshop where you can make your new project after SheCodes Basic Workshop! It's great to show with new projects what we've learned before and now!

The project definitely indulged my creative side! Had a lot of fun showcasing my passions XD

The was a very challenging but exciting project I have worked on this week!

The SheCodes React Workshop was next level for me. It felt like week 1 of the first workshop, and at the end of it now, I feel equipped, inspired, and confident in my next project(s) and endeavors. I am grateful for this space to grow, with an incredible support and care team and teacher! Thank you to all my fellow SheCoders who asked questions so I could learn from you as well. This is only the beginning of my coding journey.

I have just completed this workshop which I found to be very helpful and also challenging. Its certainly a step up from shecodes basics but you learn so much more especially in the context of javascript and API's. I now feel confident in making other similar projects using all the technologies that I have learnt.

Loved this project!

This was a challenging but well-paced course. It was great being able to code alongside Matt while also having the ability to flex my own web design skills. I loved it even when it was a bit challenging! It was a great progression from the previous course and I felt that I learnt a lot of comprehensive tools that I am able to apply to future projects!

Wow! really loved this part of the course and learning how to do more with JavaScript. Proud of my final project and excited to learn more. Thanks Matt!

I enjoyed the SheCodes Basics Workshop a lot. All the content and resources have been helpful to get me through the lessons and projects. I'm looking forward to continue with the other workshops.

SheCodes offers well-structured easy to digest material on a very pretty website. I enjoyed it very much. But to me, even more valuable than the study material is the network aspect of SheCodes. You get to see other students projects that you are about to work on. Its very important that other students are of the same level as you are, so you dont get intimidated as a newbie. You can actually feel like you can do the work they did and get inspired. And of course you are encouraged to connect with those students on slack, and it can be done in few clicks. Another important mention is the Delac Foundation effort to support refugees. They offer their program for free to a lot of women, which is admirable. I am thankful to your team for the work you do. Its a good program. Its very manageable. I would recommend it.

I had such fun time learning and doing the projects. Gradually I realized although coding is a bit challangeable, is not impossible and the way it is taught throughout the course just made me motivated enough wanting to dive in coding and keeping on learning more and actually having fun doing so. Even getting stuck has its benefits, you'll always learn something. I highly recommend SheCodes!

This course makes me fall in love with coding even more. Lessons are short and very clear. There is also a lot of practice, so it is easy to understand and assimilate the information. Also now I'm starting to understand the construction and logic of coding, and not just copy actions. I built my first project from memory.

I really enjoyed the add-on, especially learning about the magic of Moment.js. The instructions were spot on as usual and I really liked building a world clock. Great project and really proud of how far I have come.

SheCodes Basics helped me a lot in understanding and writing html, css and js codes. I feel proud of myself to be able to do my first project with everything learnt from SheCodes Basics Workshop. I loved how all the content of the courses are well organized and detailed. Instructor Matt explains the material in a way that everything seems understandable and doable. Looking forward to learn more advanced topics and do more projects with upcoming workshops.

I cannot believe that I have gained the knowledge and skills to create a fully functional weather app. With each new project I complete, I feel an overwhelming amount of accomplishment for myself. Continuing my coding journey with SheCodes has been rewarding and a lot of fun, and I am ready to code a lot more during the start of the new year!!

This SheCodes Responsive Workshop is extremely useful and full of valuable hacks. The final project is helpful and will come in handy in my future career path.

This workshop is wonderful! It's easy to learn and gives you practical information & technologies. I enjoy the final real-life project(Weather App). On top of that, there is a supportive community. I can’t wait to start the SheCodes Pro workshop🤩

I loved the lessons. It was successful in getting me motivated and actually learning the basics of coding without having to feel overwhelmed. Doing the final project made me want to go further and learn more!

I loved doing the Plus course! It was a great progression from the previous course and I felt that I learnt a lot of comprehensive tools that I am able to apply to future projects!

Another interesting project that was fun and challenging!

It had been a very good journey with SheCodes so far, the lecture videos were very interesting and informative. And it was super easy to learn from the videos. I enjoyed completing all the challenges and the project was also very interesting .

Woohoo! I can't believe I finished SheCodes pro. This workshop was very informative and it was fun creating a weather application. I can't wait to use these techniques on future projects.

It is really cool to create projects with SheCodes. It is a little bit complicated and I was really excited to see how the issues are resolved.

A very informative workshop that can be done by anyone. You do not need to have any prior coding knowledge or experience to be able to complete the tasks and the projects. Everything is explained very well by Matt.

A simple basic project but helps to alleviate the website to be more fun and interactive. Loving to use these new features when designing!

There’s a lot of information online nowadays that it can be hard to know where to start. SheCodes ended up being a good place for me to start because of how it’s structured. It’s helpful how each week is broken down into different lessons and challenges, that makes it easier to grasp the different languages you are learning. It’s awesome to see the results of everything you have learned through your final project. I’m excited to continue learning.

SheCodes always has a good step-by-step approach to challenging projects, very interactive and motivating!

The add-on projects are great for extra practice and deepening knowledge of concepts.

I really enjoyed this React workshop and I want to improve my project and learn new features.

I enjoyed this course very much, for someone new to coding, this workshop was fairly easy to follow. Each task allowed me to practice and advance my coding skills; the instructor did an amazing job explaining the content in a short but comprehensive way. Specifically, creating the weather app for the final project was a really fun challenge.

This was a great additional project.

I loved working on this project and the freedom to choose any topic we are passionate about. Ever since I remember, I have been inspired by creative people, those who seem to be thinking differently , those who bring fresh ideas in the world, while being immersed in the world. I think that this way of living is extremely interesting. I dedicated this project to some of the creative minds I have learned from to listen, see and think.

Believe it or not, I was skeptical (at first). I did not envision this introductory coding workshop to be THIS fun! I really enjoyed it from beginning to end! 10/10! 😊 Not only did they reinforce what were taught during the lessons, the weekly challenges and final project allowed for creativity, and actually motivated me to enjoy the coding experience even more! Slack was amazing as well! As someone with limited coding skills, these hands-on lessons gave me the confidence, now, coding in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and not scare me away! Thank you, Matt & the SheCodes Team!

The additional project was really helpful to practice the basics of React and to get more hands-on experience with a real project. I enjoyed working on this application and can recommend adding this add-on to the SheCodes Pro workshops.

SheCodes is really well structured, with short lessons and challenges after each lesson, it gives you the right pace and constance, keeping your attention span high and, mostly, your motivation to keep going and always want to learn more and more. No need to sit glued to your chair taking boring, hours-long lessons that get you nowhere... Coding is mostly PRACTICE and Matt knows it well, taking the education system to another level: smart, fun and productive, focusing on quality over quantity, as lessons are short but they give you ALL the tools you need to start coding on your own. SheCodes learning path is as simple as it is effective, and it is "programmed" for literally anyone. In only three weeks I was able to build a project which I really love and I am very proud of. And last but not least, the SheCodes Community is always there to whatever difficult you may encounter and is so supportive! Thank you SheCodes, I'd recommend it to anyone!

SheCodes workshops were easy to follow and learn for beginner like me who have no knowledge about coding before. I enjoyed the lessons and the projects.

She codes plus was great to expand some more basic concepts of Javascript! The project was really fun to make and had a great time.

SheCodes Basic has kickstarted my journey to web coding. Matt made the lessons easy to understand, and the challenges were constructive. Though working on my final project was a struggle, it was an enriching learning experience. I definitely recommend it to those who want to learn new skills. To have been able to go from not knowing really anything about putting an engaging webpage together, to implementing the information right away in challenges and hw projects. It was that kind of practice that really solidified the material for me. I feel like I can just sit around and whip up a quick and simple landing page from start to finish, while getting really creative with it's interaction with the user visually as well as functionally!

Well-structured videos, you never get bored, if you have any struggles, you can always get help on slack. I had amazing 5 weeks, and I am so proud of myself completing the final project. Highly recommend and waiting to start next workshop!

I had such a fun week during the Responsive add-on. I felt I was able to learn something very useful through the real life project which I really love to design, color etc. I can get more creative with these skills and enjoy coding everyday. I don't know what is coming for the React add-on weeks however, I believe I will be happy to learn more!

This was quite challenging yet amazing project, Matt explains all material in a very clear manner, so that it was easy to follow. 100% recommend this course!

Just completed one more amazing WorkShop from SheCodes: React. It was new and challenging, I followed step by step Matt's lessons and then watched them again and again and redid the project few times but in the end I did it! Thank you for the great opportunity to learn and believe in myself.

I enjoyed learning about different programming languages other than R and Python, having experience in both helped me understand HTML, CSS, and Javascript more easily. I greatly enjoyed the creative aspect of CSS with all of the aesthetics that could be altered for the project. I also both hated and enjoyed functions in JavaScript and enjoyed learning from both Matt and looking for information and tutorials online. This was an enlightening experience and I have to say - more fun than function writing in Python.

I learned a lot during these 8 weeks, the structure and pace of the course can be challenging but the many interesting exercises make the learning process smoother and help structurize all the newly acquired information and skills. The final project - a practical weather app - helped me further fall in love with coding

SheCodes Basics is a great place to start your coding journey. I found the course interesting and helpful. Working on my project was really rewarding.

I LOVED SheCodes Responsive. It's really exciting to learn how to make content responsive, especially in this mobile device heavy world. It was really fun being able to build a functional personal website as well. As always, Matt did a fantastic job at clearly explaining everything but allowing you to put your own spin on the project as well.

I really enjoyed this add-on, would highly recommend. I learnt alot of new skills and now I have the confidence to try out different skills on my own. I really enjoyed using these new skills in my project.

I really enjoyed the Plus course, for me this was an excellent way to learn with the lessons, in addition to the challenges and then the homework also. I aspired, I built, I problem-solved (like my life depended on it) and I conquered the final project. I have now created a fully functioning weather app. I now feel like I have a lot more understanding and can try things on my own a lot more than when I had only completed Basic, and I am most definitely going to consider the Pro course or maybe even the Max course, when I am able to afford one or both 😅 until then I plan on giving the new SheCodes Challenges a go 🥳

I can say this program was so fun and pleasing that it didn't feel like any other projects at all. It wasn't something I had to do, it was something I couldn't wait to do.

The add on course helped me firm up many of the concepts of the original basics course. I like how I now have an example project to show to potential future employers.

Matt explains the concepts in a way that is understandable and makes tricker topics easier to understand. Having the practice of the project has been great as it allows me to try the principles for myself.

SheCodes was a great way to learn some basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a structured and non-intimidating way! I knew I needed structured learning so I'm so glad that I decided to take the leap to purchase SheCodes Basics to start my coding journey. Matt explains how to code clearly and I loved how you had a video to learn from, then you got to execute what you learned in the challenge. My greatest lessons from this project was to not overthink creating a dark theme page and to remember to edit photos before adding them to my html, not editing them in CSS. 😩 #matttaughtme

It was a great opportunity to learn what coding is all about. It's not scary as I thought. SheCodes stood out from other online coding classes because of scheduled weekly classes, mini projects and deadlines. It forced myself to study even after work and I was proud of it. The work load was doable despite having a full time job. I would recommend the course to any beginners.

A well thought-out, deeper dive into HTML, CSS and JS. Lots of new and advanced information is given throughout this course. The advancement between this course and the previous is quite large, and most weeks you walk away feeling like you have learnt a lot of new things. The final project was fun to execute and learn!

SheCodes has been the best coding program! It's a 10/10 for me. In only three weeks I have learned so much information, but it never felt overwhelming since all the projects are fun and engaging! The best part is that I would go back to past lessons whenever I need a refresher. Would totally recommend this Coding program.

This project made me super confident to go through the JavaScript functions and looking for some other ideas to make and use the things which I learned within this course. It was super fun and I did never get bored among learning. Thank you Matt for your different teaching method, it is fabulous.

This course really tested my analytical abilities. It took me quite a while to catch on during the Week 1 activities, and I was significantly frustrated by how slow I was at completing the tasks. Week 2 was much more enjoyable as I became more familiar with the process and with the coding languages. The final project was a lot of fun, as well as a lot of back-and-forth of tweaking things to get them to where I was satisfied with the end result. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in understanding how webpages are constructed, and the creative possibilities this training can open up for you.

One of the best workshops I’ve ever participate, With more practice through these lessons, challenges, and projects, I am feeling much more confident. The result of my project made me feel so proud of myself and motivated me to continue learning, I'm looking forward to the next workshops.

With more practice through these lessons, challenges, and projects, I am feeling much more confident and comfortable coding. When I first started with SheCodes, everything was completely foreign to me, I was learning a new language. At this point, although still a challenge, it feels more familiar as I learn and absorb all these new skills. I am excited to move on SheCodes Reactive.

Coming from a nontechnical background, Shecodes has been a great starting point for me. They have made learning code less intimating and easy to understand. They have also assisted with growing my portfolio with the projects and assignments we completed through out the workshop.

This was a great experience! I had so much fun learning how to code. The Basic workshop helped me to make my final decision. That I want to code in my career choice. The result of my project made me feel so proud of myself and motivated me to continue learning.

I enjoyed the SheCodes Responsive workshops! I enjoyed the final project and it's something that I really needed in order to move forward in pursuing web development. It was fun building my portfolio and seeing my growth from when I first started to what I know now. If you're thinking about taking the Responsive workshops, 10/10 recommend especially if you're a blogger--lots of helpful content!

I am happy to understand basic SEO after this workshop and excited to create content that is appropriately adapted to any device for a greater UX on my projects.

I have always been fascinated about coding , But either never had the time, thought it was impossible to learn at a short period or that it was time consuming. However to my greatest surprise when I heard about sheCodes from a tictoker, I enrolled immediately with the little money I had not knowing there was "Delac Foundation" which I applied and my application was approved currently on the waiting list. I have gone ahead to finish the sheCodes basics and I am happy to have finished my project. though it wasn't an easy task juggling work and been a single mum but thank-God I did not give up. I will always recommend sheCodes to everywoman I know. Thankyou matt for making coding easy.🤗

The responsive workshop was fun. I really enjoyed learning how to improve my projects and build my portfolio.

I have really enjoyed the Basic path and can only recommend it. Prior to joining the bootcamp, I already had a little HTML/CSS knowledge but had never had the opportunity to really use it toward something concrete. I enjoyed learning about Javascript and I honestly can't wait to jump to SheCodes + and learn more about it. SheCodes has figured out the right mix of 1. guided lessons and 2. freedom to explore and work on your skills on your own. The final project was super cool!
