I just finished the Basis Add-on Project workshop. Once again I've learned a lot and so many things make sense to me now. I now look at websites in a new way and its exciting to see what one can do with CSS and Javascript.

This project was very challenging. I wanted to create my component names, so I wasn't just copying the code directly from Matt's source code to fully understand it. I relied on Athena AI, Claude.ai, and Netlify to debug and fix some of my code. This was helpful when completing the project because I gained a better understanding of some of the components and their interrelated elements.

This has been so much fun and so innovative. I have learned so much about CSS, HTML AND JavaScript. I feel these skills will help me improve so much and develop my own concepts and projects.

Creating this dictionary app was a great learning journey for me. I used two SheCodes APIs, one for fetching word definitions and another for retrieving related images to build a rich and interactive experience. When a user searches for a word, the app displays its definition, part of speech, example usage, synonyms, and relevant images that visually represent the word.
