Video lectures made by our instructor, Matt Delac were very understandable and having challenges and project at the end of the workshop are really effective to revision what I've learnt throughout this workshop
It is a nice complement to the Basic Workshop. I had a lot of fun working on the project and learned many new tricks and elements.
I have used this project to improve my current portfolio and it has been really fun. This is a module that really makes you more aware on how to build things properly from the get go.

An extended add-on project that gives an extra practice on React.
This is the second project using React, following the Weather App. I found myself having a better understanding of using React, especially when deciding when to create a separate component, and how to refactor my codes in those components. On top of that, I feel more comfortable using .map() and conditional rendering, all of these techniques made my codes cleaner, shorter and easier to be read by myself and possibly by other developers. I look forward to learn more and deeper about React to create more sophisticated applications in the future!
Before SheCodes, I found coding extremely boring! But Matt and SheCodes team changed that forever. The way Matt teaches coding makes everything perfectly clear, understandable, and most importantly, fun! π When I started doing the final project of SheCodes Responsive, I was really surprised by how I've learnt everything so well that I don't even need to think that much when coding. Of course, challenges are always there and that's a part of being a front-end developer, but SheCodes teaching system has given me the confidence to actually know that any programming challenge is solvable. π©π»βπ» I can't wait to continue my coding journey with SheCodes, learn more and more about programming, and become a professional front-end developer. π
I just finished the SheCodes Plus weather app project and couldn't be happier with the results. I was hesitant to take on a project like this because I needed to gain more expertise in coding. But because of SheCodes Plus's crystal-clear and simple-to-follow lessons, I was able to finish the course with a working weather app in hand. The SheCodes Plus curriculum was an excellent method to learn how to code overall. The weather app project was a great way to get started with coding. This responsive course is an eye-opening course! It has leveraged my website-building technique and consolidated my knowledge in Frontend and bootstrap. I love the pace of each teaching video, suitable for any type of learner. Small progress each time could definitely motivate me to work on my project step by step and make the whole learning in responsive much easier!
This has been such a great course, I have learnt so much in the last couple of weeks. Going from no knowledge to completing a project. The lessons are easy to follow and very logical. There is alwasy help on hand if you get stuck and it's great to be able to see the probles that other people run into as well which helps you identify issues in your own code. Great community and it has been very rewarding completeing the project!

I appreciated how the workshop was structured to teach the basics of responsive design plus advanced tips, while also allowing for creative freedom and individualized project development. By the end of the workshop, I had gained a solid understanding of responsive HTML and CSS development and had created a functional and visually appealing website for my hometown: Bogota.
In a nutshell: hard to grasp at first but so much fun!! Building a weather app in React was definitely a steep learning curve, but I really enjoyed the process and I was happy with how my project turned out. It is such a useful tool and I'm looking forward to the React add-on so that I can practice some more.
Best online class ever! I have learned so many advance techniques in this workshop and I will be able to use them in real life projects!

I am so excited about this course! I enjoyed every lesson. I really liked the structure: first you learn all the different parts you need for the final project and then you start building the weather app again from scratch. As a result, you practice everything at least twice, which ensures you remember everything better.

Really fun workshop, I liked doing a dictionary project. This one really helps you to understand even more React. After doing react workshop, add-on was perfect to practice your skills. It's not that scary anymore!

In less than 3 weeks I managed to transition from a total beginner to being able to create a landing page from scratch. I found the course was well-paced and every unit was building directly on the previous one. The challenges reinforced the knowledge gained while the homework and project made it very practical and hands-on.

A year ago I started a project in which I realized I needed to understand better technology to make it possible. In the meanwhile, I searched a programmer guy who could work on it. However, as soon as we were thinking about the development, he did some tricks with the computer in a strange language for me that made my application worked properly. Such was my amazement that I knew I would like to do some of that magic too. Now I can say that this dream is coming true thanks to SheCodes and their workshops

I am so happy to have begun my coding journey with SheCodes! SheCodes was an easy way to explore coding without any prior experience. The hands on nature of the entire course is my favorite part as it allowed me to exercise my skills in real time with the instructor. Wow being on the SheCodes Plus course has been amazing. It's super fun to work on my own projects and to have Matts example to lean on. All in all I'm super amazed how well it works and the effort of explaining complex code so it's understandable π
This workshop was a great addition to my learning on web development. It included really insightful lessons and advice for web content creation. Also, the final project of a portfolio website means I can show the skills I have learnt and begin to showcase my new work! Each week is a challenge but in an enjoyable and engaging way, I would definitely recommend SheCodes!
I found that SheCodes offer proper exercises to refresh or to absolute beginners. The final project is a must to try to recap all the lessons.

SheCodes has unlocked a new creative passion within me! Previously I thought learning to code would be highly complex and not visual or creative - but this has proved me wrong! I've been excited to log on and complete all the lessons and projects, and realised how creative you can be. The lesson structures are easy to follow and explained incredibly well. Using slack and Athena have also helped me throughout the course, and made me feel a high sense of accomplishment. I can't wait to book onto the following levels.
Just completed the She Codes Basic-add on course (Intro to Web Development) . The course content was interesting and challenging, but presented in a way that was easy to follow. I like the practical approach to learning coding, which allowed me to apply what I learned immediately. There's a project that we had to create at the end, and Matt, the instructor, was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the project, and I felt that I was able to learn a lot through this experience. I also like the fact that everyone's project is unique and different, despite us all learning the same thing. I can't wait to continue my coding journey with She Codes!

10/10 recommend. After a few weeks I can proudly and confidently make a website with multiple pages, that is seo friendly and responsive on mobile devices. I am so excited to continue coding and creating new and dynamic projects

This was a great project to work on. It was both fun and challenging.

The workshops are very practical and applicable. Short videos help me feel motivated and energetic, and provide me with a good opportunity to identify areas for which I need more practice. I enjoyed the weekly projects a lot and found the final project fun and exciting. The teaching materials were challenging just about the right amount for me: not too difficult to the point of being frustrating, and not too easy to lose motivation. Overall, the experience has been excellent so far.
This is a really fun workshop and final project! The React concepts were explained well and the challenges and final project really help you to understand the potential of learning/using React. There is also the opportunity to incorporate all the skills learned on the previous workshops as well. This really helps to solidify the knowledge learnt and practice other frontend techniques, which was something I really appreciated. Thank you SheCodes!

This course was definitely fun because it teaches how we can make our projects responsive for different device sizes (super important for mobile use). This course was definitely more design focused as we didn't look at javascript this time around.

I have been working on the project about different types of intelligence, the topic I have been interested in recently. Currently I am working in the language school which is concentrated on the different types of intelligence, that is why this topic is extremely relevant for me. During my project I had also a possibility to find out more about this topic. It was the pure pleasure for me to completing this challenge, though I had some doubts about my skills and creative part of myself. It even discouraged me a little, nevertheless I have finished it and I am proud of myself. I was listening to the SheCodes Radio and it helped me a lot during my coding, music really changes everything! I specifically liked working with the colors, gradients. It was fun! I will be working hard to become better in coding :) Overall, I would highly recommend this project to anyone. It was a thought-provoking and enlightening experience that challenged my assumptions and opened my mind to new possibilities. :)

It really is amazing the things I've learned so far with the basics. This workshop gave me the foundations I needed to move to next level :) I enjoyed coding and learning more about CSS, HTML and JavaScript and had so much fun designing my first project.
I truly experienced a challenging coding journey. The syllabus is so well-designed and the tasks are so well splitted into smaller pieces that the difficulty of the challenges turned out to be fun for me. Weeks 7 & 8 were like a story narrated part by part. I also love weather API by Shecodes which helped me to proceed with the project more easily.
