Love how I can learn at my own pace, but still have accountability to get any homework or projects done before the deadline. Matt is great at breaking things down and simplifying things.
I absolutely loved that I could experience a whole development process with each lesson leading up to the final project. I admit there was a moment or two of despair, but you get there eventually š Javascript is definitely challenging and I'm just starting to grasp it. SheCodes Plus has definitely shown me what Iām already capable of!

I just finished working on my second React project after completing the Weather App. As I progress, I've noticed that my understanding of using React has improved significantly. I now have a better grasp on deciding when to create a separate component and how to effectively refactor my code within those components. It's been great to see my skills develop as I work on these projects.

The SheCodes React Workshop was a solid introduction to React. I am excited to use React in my future projects. It's hard to believe I embarked on this journey 5 months ago and learned so much! I've been trying to learn how to code for the last year but couldn't really get the hang of it. I also wasn't sure where to start or what I should focus on as there is so much to learn. I finally decided to enroll in SheCodes and have really enjoyed the coursework thus far. It's very easy to understand and the projects are enjoyable to work through. It can be a challenge at times but once my work is done, I love being able to see what I've created.
This was an amazing project to learn and practice all my coding skills. I loved building the dark theme feature and I cannot wait to learn more in the next workshop. Thank you.

After completing SheCodes Basic Bootcamp, I must say that it was an incredible experience. I had always been interested in coding, but I was intimidated by the idea of learning it on my own. However, SheCodes made it easy and accessible. The course was well-structured, and the instructors were knowledgeable and patient. The lessons were broken down into manageable segments, making it easy to understand and apply the concepts. Building an app with react was a big challenge. Even though I didn't understand everything the project was fun.

It was a ton of fun! Learning about JavaScript was the most fun for me I think. I'm pretty sure I got a little too excited with it in the final project, but oh well. The project was just so much fun, making everything from scratch, having to redo a bunch of things because you realize it doesn't really look as good as you'd envisioned it and then finally finishing and being so proud of yourself. These weeks have introduced a new beginning for me and I am very much looking forward to the next workshop.

Having tried a few other coding workshops in the past, SheCodes was the only one I've completed and really enjoyed! The content is easy to follow and the projects are fun.
This was greatest challenge I've taken for myself in a long time. I dropped out of college 10 years ago and this was a great way to recover that chapter of my life. I am a hands on and visual learner, this workshop was user friendly and simple for a beginner. I was able to maneuver through being a full time single mom, full time employee and other projects. This was great I look forward to moving forward to the next SheCodes workshop.
Lessons from this workshop are easy to understand. You can get extension for your homework deadline, so you won't be stressed. Highly recommend this workshop! BTW, for my final project, I am an ARMY, so I wanted to do my first website about BTS. I used the the color of BTS "Love Yourself :Answer" album as background color of my website. I tried my best for this final project.
This React course has been my favourite out of all the SheCodes workshops. Thank you Matt Delac for creating easy to follow instructions. It's amazing to think of all the projects I've created, especially having no prior coding experience.

I found the course very interesting and a bit challenging but with the help of the videos and Athena AI i managed to do the challenges and project swiftly.
A very interesting course, and even though it was very challenging at times, the videos helped me a lot! It was fun working on the final project little by little, although I found that during the final 2 weeks, we covered the same things as during the first 6 weeks. I recently completed a 3-week basic course and I have to say, it was one of the most enjoyable learning experiences I've had in a long time. The course was expertly designed to take students through the basics of coding and gradually build up to more advanced topics. Matt is a great instructor who has designed this course in way that exercises and projects were engaging and challenging, but never overwhelming. I felt like I was making real progress every day. Great course, again! This course taught me to work in a structured way. Setting up a project is now becoming a routine and before I start coding, I always think about what I want the code to do (writing it down helps!). I really liked using Moment.js :-)
How the courses are structured has helped me thoroughly understand and work on the projects on my own and efficiently. I have learned and mastered HTML/CSS/JavaScript Basics without any knowledge. I 100% recommend it to anyone that wants to learn Coding.
I am really enjoing all that I am learning with the coding workshops and the fact that the projects at the end are feeling enjoyable. There are moments of sheer frustration where my code will not run and I know that there is always support if I need it but the feeling of pure joy and elation when I have managed to find the error, mistake or typo in my code is a type of exhilaration I'm not sure I have never experienced before. It is immensly satifying.
I enjoyed learning with SheCodes! The content is easy-to-follow, and the teaching method is fun. Adding to that, the challenges and projects enhance programming skills in a practical manner.
So far, I feel like this course is paced perfectly for those of us who have to work full-time while in these courses. The best part is, the projects are fun too!

I wish this add-on workshop had been available when I first started SheCodes last year. However, being able to complete it now (after finishing all the main workshops), I was able to implement responsive features and understand the JS aspect better than I would have as a total beginner. Overall, it was a fun project, and I highly recommend this one.

Initially going in to this project I thought I had a good understanding of coding through past experiences of self-teachings. However, after taking this course I have been able to gain a greater comprehension of past teachings than perviously, whilst understanding why certain value inputs are actioned. I have learnt more tips, tricks, gained more confidence in coding in my spare time, and now have successfully gained 3 completed projects.
SheCodes Responsive was fascinating. I enjoyed designing and making a responsive portfolio website from scratch. The SEO tips were useful and interesting. I'm looking forward to working on new projects with the experience I've gained by attending this workshop.
Matt takes the time to show you step by step how to build your project. He also takes the time to explain why things work the way they do. He corrects his own project from video to video when he finds a better solution or understands a mistake he did. It is a very human and interactive way to teach. The challenges can be very frustrating and test your patience but once you find a solution and your project work it is very exciting and gives a Christmas-like feelingš„³ ! Really enjoyed the whole workshop.

This was a pretty solid course for getting an overall view about making a website. On top of the comprehensive overview of the three coding languages involved, I also felt like I got a better sense of how the workflow might run for projects like our homework assignments or challenges. While I might still need references to a guide for some details, I've gained an enthusiasm to learning how to code for myself, which is something I don't think would have come easily for me otherwise. The course also made me have a greater appreciation for people who create visually-appealing websites, because having an ability to code doesn't automatically equate to having a good design sense needed for those pages.
So proud of my weather app. I had such a great time working on it and developing it step by step. Looking forward to my next projects!

SheCodes React Workshop has given me a lot of experience. In under six weeks, I learned a lot about React and then utilised it to build a weather app using JSX components, axios, and NPM packages. I discovered how to create functional components, and how React handles state management throughout the lifespan of a program. It encouraged me to continue my education and create a web development project. I'm eager to move forward with my journey.

For me, it was difficult to transfer the Html code from the previous project to React. The explanation was in the lesson after the task itself. Maybe this is the point of finding a way on other resources, but it was very difficult, because those methods did not suit me. I did it myself by trial and error. Of course, a huge plus is that you can turn to the team for help. I was going to apply in this case until I found an error. I have contacted many times on other occasions and the team is very polite, so don't be afraid to contact! A huge plus is the appearance of artificial intelligence, which helps to find errors. True, while there is a limit of 2,000 characters, and the code can be much larger š . In any case, I want to review the lessons again and consolidate my knowledge. Thanks for the opportunity to learn! š„°
