this course was an exhilarating and enjoyable journey. I had a blast learning new concepts and applying them to real-world projects. It was an experience I will cherish, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a fun and rewarding coding education.

The responsive add-on was great to see what can be done (and perhaps experience some of the frustrations of working with) Vanilla CSS for layouts. Again another well set out workshop with clear instruction and a variety of challenges and projects to allow you to put into practice what you learn.

It was a fun project, but if I could start all over again, I would start with SheCodes Max right from the beginning! This has been great for me and helpful in current QA position. Looking forward to finishing all the add-on workshops.

This has been my favourite project so far! We have learned an incredible amount in such a short space of time. I never thought I would be able to grasp a clear understanding of a complex task like coding a world clock at this stage of my learning. Our success pays testiment to the fantastic teaching abilites of Matt, and the dedication that he and the rest of the SheCodes team show us.. The expanse of knowledge I have gained since starting my journey as part of the SheCodes community is genuinely remarkable..

This course is challenging and interesting. Project execution is possible only with full concentration, especially during the adding of Fahrenheit units. It becomes more and more interesting and I want to understand further and further in coding.

I just wrapped up the React Add-On project—a dictionary app. It was a fun and practical experience. I recommend the course to get some React skills.

SheCodes Basic Add-on provided extensive practice on the SheCodes Basic course. I love that we are able to build another project to add to our portfolio. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who wants to continue to build their knowledge of HTML and CSS.

The course was well-structured, and I learned all the essentials of React.js, from components to state management. The hands-on projects were super helpful in solidifying my understanding. Highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to dive into React.js!

Currently I am working full time and attending SheCodes Worshops after work. After completing the Plus workshop all I wanted was to keep learning and diving into the Plus-Add On! I've tried to learn JavaScript so many times and ended up quiting, however, with these workshops and Matt's explanations and the support from the slack channel, I felt like this is the right method for me to learn and to keep improving. I am motivated to continue learning and making more projects, and I can not wait to start the enxt workshop!

Really enjoyed the Basics course. Matt's videos are easy to understand and they're not too long. So, it's easy to suqeeze in some lessons after my normal work :) Working on the final project was great, seeing how finally everything came together and I created a whole page from scratch. It's pretty fun getting started with the SheCodes materials.

Another fun but challenging process to complete this project. Following Matt’s instruction step by step, which lead me to complete this project in two days instead of a week. More challenges to come.

It was a really fun time with SheCoding, could not notice like the Basic level is over. I become an investigator - curious digging into a site that I visit to find out how this work; and a searcher - googling for some other ways to create something on your own. The course is built sooooo well, so easy to understand, in no matter of time you start to notice the things that before were kind of mystery. The final project was not so hard to create like hard to choose which one to send (I made 3, but stop myself on this one)

I love having challenges, homework and projects where you get to practice all the things learned!

Throughout the weeks, I found the curriculum to be well-structured and thoughtfully designed. The topics covered were comprehensive and relevant, and I feel much more confident in my coding abilities. However, I did encounter some confusion in certain parts of the course. While I understand that coding can be complex, it may have been helpful to have some additional challenges or exercises to prepare us for those more challenging topics. Perhaps, like the previous workshop, some smaller tasks or mini-projects could have been incorporated into the curriculum to help us better understand and apply the concepts. Overall, though, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to participate in this workshop and for all that I have learned.

SheCodes has been for me the perfect start to learn how to code. I get excited with every challenge and had a lot of fun doing my final project. I'm already very proud of myself for all I've learned and done. Thank you for the excellent explanations and clear videos.

What an interesting and challenging workshop. I enjoyed working through the lessons and projects and finally Javascript seems to make sense. The breakdown of the lessons helps in learning bit by bit and putting it all together in the end. Possibilities are endless!

SheCodes Plus add-on was a fantastic follow up to the Plus course! Not only did it teach new skills and material, it was also great practice and implementation of skills learned through previous modules. She Codes continues to impress its methods of practice through repetition without getting monotonous , each project feels refreshing and brings new challenges. I'm always looking forward to what's next!

I had a great time creating the world clock project. Each workshop helps me gain a better understanding of JavaScript and how to work with functions. I appreciate Matt's teaching style, which has been phenomenal so far.

I wish there were more workshops by SheCodes, that is how much I love it. It is such a user-friendly program and you actually look forward to working on the projects and homework. I really enjoyed working on this one-week challenge project about my favorite hobby. My goal was to practice using some new CSS properties, and learning how to change my page to Dark Theme using JavaScript functions. It was fun!

The SheCodes basics class has been fun, I enjoyed doing the challenges, homework and project. I now have a good background on html, css and javascript.

I enjoyed this workshop because I was able to create multiple responsive HTML pages, which resembles what people see and use in terms of websites. Great beginner course. Each week is full of interesting topics and assignments. I had a ton of fun working on the final project. This workshop is perfect for aspiring front-end developers!

I'm glad I did this SheCodes course, and I've definitely learnt how to apply my new knowledge to these actionable projects. I've learnt how to learn how to code, so the next few languages and frameworks I will able to pick up easier now that I know a little. The help throughout a few stages of my work has been super helpful in getting me unstuck. I've enjoyed doing the smaller challenges and building my knowledge and skills, they were able to give me win states. Super important when starting something daunting like learning to code from scratch.

Since joining SheCodes Basic, I feel like I have learned so much than I did going the traditional route in school! Matt made it easy to understand the concept that was being taught. The challenges after most lessons were very helpful and the weekly homework helped in grasping what was taught. The projects helped put together what you learned and it was really fun to do! I started SheCodes with little to no knowledge about coding. I went in with the desire of exploring something new, and I enjoyed every bit of it. The React journey was definitely a bit challenging, but Matt explained everything clearly. It was nice to see him make mistakes too and learn with him as he fixes them. I am excited to create more applications and projects because I've gained a skill that I want to continue building upon!

I absolutely loved this course! It gives you a solid foundation in HTML, CSS and JavaScript which you can then use to make your own projects. I thoroughly enjoyed all the challenges/homework and really loved the fact that not everything is 'spoon-fed' to you. You are encouraged to do your own research to figure out how to do things. This project challenged me to apply everything I had learned and pushed me to think creatively. From fetching real-time weather data to dynamically updating the app's interface, every step of the process was a valuable learning experience. By developing a React weather app from scratch, this project allowed me to put my skills to the test and solidify my understanding of key React concepts. By leveraging React's powerful features and libraries, I was able to create a visually appealing and highly functional weather application. I Thank Matt and the SheCodes Team for guiding me through this challenge!

Despite being an introductory course, I think it is very well structured. The topics covered were well explained in order to meet the challenges, the weekly homeworks and the final project, which I really enjoyed doing. I hope to take the following courses soon to continue learning

SheCodes Basics was a great way to start learning Web Development! The lessons are thorough, easy to follow up and the homework and project really put together all the information we learned over the last weeks. Two of my favourite things about the last weeks: the way the course is designed still pushes you to research on your own, which I found challenging but rewarding. Also, the fact that the course allows for self management - you can choose the times that better suit you, there are deadlines but all the classes are recorded so people who work or have other responsibilities can manage to learn and build a new career for themselves. Thank you, Matt and the team, for making it fun to learn a new language 🙃 we'll meet again in SheCodes Max 😄

I have a lot of fun coding with SheCodes. Every day I become better, and learn something new and valuable. Every project is unique, designed to give us a lot of practical skills and I love it!

I acquired new skills to create a functional world clock without using an api. I could immediately see the potential for applying these skills to other coding projects in the future. Overall, the world clock lesson was a remarkable experience.

A useful addition to the React workshop, with a few new learnings, more React practice, and one more project for my portfolio. Definitely glad I completed it!

The add-on workshops were really helpful in understanding the functionality and implementations of basic animations on images ! The best part about SheCodes's course is that at the end, they give you the choice to create a website about what you're passionate about, which makes the projects more interesting and fun to do.

SheCodes is a a great way to learn how to code from scratch and you make amazing work in just a short amount of time! Before SheCodes, I didn't know a single thing about coding and was a little intimidated by it, but now I can confidentially build and work on my own projects. It is also helping me with career prospects and really helping me develop my analytical and problem solving skills, as well as a chance to showcase my creativity. Each lesson is tailored amazingly, especially the way Matt explains and breaks concepts down. Would highly recommend this to anyone. It's honestly so worth it and is so fun! :)

It was very informative with a lot of components to learn but rewarding with the end project to complete. I liked learning about how to make Grids using html tables, the old-fashioned way. And learning about hero as well!

The SheCodes React workshop was pretty awesome! I learned so many things about React and how to build modern web applications using React. The instructor was super knowledgeable and made everything easy to understand, which makes it easy to follow along even if you're a complete beginner. And the best part? It was hands-on from the get-go, so I got to build really cool project and get feedback on my work. I've learned so much in this course, and I can't wait to keep going with more SheCodes workshops.

Wow! I feel like I learned so much in just this add on course. It was so exciting because these were the elements I wanted to add to my first project and just didn't know how. I am always so please with how Matt teaches step by step. I enjoyed this add on session so much!

One of my favourite workshops that I've completed this far!! This project was definitely handy in cementing certain concepts like conditional rendering & looping through arrays. My confidence in using these concepts has grown greatly between the two React workshops. Practice is key so having two guided react projects was much appreciated! Overall, it was a FUN challenge!! 🤩

I had the most challenging yet fun time learning the basics of Front End with SheCodes. SheCodes Basics is a good starting point for those interested in coding. The lessons are bite-size thus easily fit around a busy schedule. The final project is a culmination of what you've been taught but also allows for some creative freedom.
