Yet another rewarding project.I'm very happy with my procress and confidence built over the weeks, the dream is turning into a reality.

I feel like I am making progress with my web development skills, and I really like the outcome of my clock project! I am looking things up less, and coding with more confidence thanks to these workshops!

I’m excited to share that I have successfully completed the SheCodes Plus module. Through this program, I strengthened my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, how to fetch an API using Axios and API integration. I also built interactive projects that boosted my problem-solving abilities and helped me grow my confidence coding skills.

I have so enjoyed the workshops, challenges, homeworks and final project. I never knew coding could be such fun! I can't wait to get started on the Add On course. Thanks so much Matt and all of the SheCodes team 💜🤗💜

I really enjoyed completing the Responsive Add-on with SheCodes. The lessons were clear, the projects were practical, and I feel much more confident building responsive layouts now.

This was a fun project that tested out all the elements we have learnt in the previous basics course.

This week’s workshop/project around building a World Clock was by far the most challenging for me. The learning curve felt steep, and I quickly realized that Matt wasn’t exaggerating when he said that working with dates, and understanding them, is impressive because of how complex it can be! I’m really glad I pushed through it all within the week, though. It forced me to fully immerse myself in the code and experiment with different approaches, which helped deepen my understanding.

The SheCodes Python course was great for learning the fundamentals while building a project along the way. The lessons were easy to comprehend, and the hands-on approach to the project made me feel more confident and excited to continue learning Python!

This class was very challenging when it came to doing the final project. I had to stop and start the project to see my mistakes in the code. I did better on this project than on the last project.

A really enjoyable workshop explained in an easy-to-follow manner. The project itself is highly adaptable to many other kinds of personal projects.

The Basics Add on Workshop gave me the opportunity to build on what I had already learned in the Basics course. I worked with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in ways that made more sense than before, especially through the small projects and exercises. The workshop allowed me to work at my own pace, which was important because it gave me time to fully understand concepts I found tricky. It was a rewarding experience that made me feel capable of taking on bigger coding challenges.

Easy to follow along and understand. Challenging final project but very rewarding!

I really enjoyed the Python AI Workshop and learning how to combine Python with AI and APIs to build real, functional projects. The workshop boosted my confidence in coding and made learning Python fun and practical!

This was a huge milestone for me. I made every mistake possible, repeated containers, threw classes around like they were free, and named things with zero meaning until my code turned into a mountain of classes with no meaning. The project looked great on the outside, but behind the scenes it was heavy, messy, and absolutely not maintainable. So I refactored it just about 20 times. In the end, I learned more than I expected not just about layout and my old nemeses (positioning and grid 😅), but about writing clean, maintainable code.

This project was a game changer, it required me to go back to previous workshops and actually understand the concept of React. And I liked the fact that our instructor was using a different API than ours. So this was not just following our instructor it was actually testing, deleting, coding and deleting again and recapping before it all made sense. The little struggle was worth it and I am confident in my skills now.

Python, so far, has been so much easier for me to understand than JavaScript and I've really enjoyed learning more and applying my new knowledge to the AI Roadtrip Planner project.

Loved how the project allowed me to apply what I learned during the two weeks. This project was fun and engaging. I'm glad I was able to learn more about integrating AI APIs.

Fun project

I recently completed the SheCodes bootcamp, and it's been a game-changer for me! I started with zero coding experience, and now I feel confident building my own projects.

I had so much fun creating this project for SheCodes basic add on. Was difficult but I got there in the end with lots of trial and error!

The Basics Add-On was such a short and sweet course to do. Good pace, teaching lots of new skills to apply to future projects to make them look and perform just that little bit better.

I joined SheCodes feeling quite intimidated by code, but this workshop changed that completely. This was a wonderful course project. Matt's explanations is so clear. We built the project one step at the time. It's great that it's recorded, so when the recording screen doesn't match what I see on my computer, I can back the recording and analyze where it went wrong. Often it's a typo. Python coding is a great tool to add to my skillset. Hence, I enrolled in this class to learn the basics. At my workplace, I've already started coding small projects (succesfully whoo!), though the basics I learned were far from what I need at my job (btw I need to use pyvisa, panda etc.) I have the basics to get me started, I just need to lookup the proper syntax, some googling and reading scpi commands from the manuals. This is great for beginners and completely digestible! AI tool is great but without knowing the basics, it's like driving an autopilot car without knowing how to drive. Happy coding!

I loved completing another project with API integration, this time using AI! I really enjoyed learning about both and bringing them together in one project. I also appreciate the constant revision aspect of these workshops, as well as the opportunity to contribute to a new project each time. I'm feeling more confident in my coding skills as I work through each of these workshops!

This project was a real test. I cannot remember being this frustrated over something I couldn't get right on the get-go or on the first or second try, but I'm blown away that I built a fully functional weather app from the ground up.

The past few weeks on this have been an incredible learning experience! From revising HTML/CSS/JS to diving into APIs and using them to integrate data into the app, the design of this workshop was very helpful. Having the chance to work on the project alongside Matt, who was working on his own, made a huge difference. It helped avoid bugs and provided the benefit of having a (kind of) coding partner. I am amazed at how this learning process has given me the confidence to code an entire website. The last time I did it, I used WordPress, and everything seemed so confusing — doable, but confusing, because I didn’t understand the background of what I was doing. But now, I can build it from scratch and personalize everything I need and want. This is the first step in the creation of my portfolio website and, as an Architect, a step that gives me full freedom to display my Projects in the way I see fit for them. I’ve been following SheCodes for months, but I was initially skeptical of yet another online course. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Right from the start, you get a solid introduction that sets the tone, followed by a well-structured course with clear, comprehensive explanations and assignments that reinforce what you’ve learned. The homework and final project are especially valuable. They help you apply the know-how in a different context, which really deepens your understanding. It’s fun, engaging, and very focused on quickly enabling users to start building and experimenting. As a Product Owner who casually designs customer journeys, including automated email flows, I can already see how this will support my work.

This was a tough one! My first project using React application. Very challenging but a lot of fun! Matt, allowed us to figure things out ourselves at the same time guiding us through the entire project. He is an excellent teacher. Very excited to continue with more coding adventures! ^_^
