The final project here is chosen wisely. After creating it I realised how constant practice and learning help in achieving the amazing results. Not long time ago I was surprised when the phrase "Hello, World!" appeared on the white screen after writing it in the HTML. Now, thanks to the SheCodes, I created the personal site-portfolio. Of course, I have a long way to go. There are many things to learn, to master, there will be ups and downs. I realised that programming is not only about the skills, it`s about the mindset. It`s about perseverance, problem solving, steadiness. Programming can be very frustrating, but it is incredibly rewarding too. The She Codes Responsive workshop for me is the stage when it seems like you know a lot, but in reality you discover that there are more and more techniques, which can make the sites more comfortable to use, more user-friendly and responsive. This workshop was an amazing experience! I enjoyed each challenge and the final project was such an enjoyable activity. SheCodes is an amazing place to start learning code. It is immersive, whilst Matt explains in detail how each piece of code interacts with each other and how it affects the end project. The tidbit sectioning in each week's work makes it easy to follow and allows you to set your own pace.
It was very cool! I had some troubles several times with my code, but it was an incredibly interesting challenge to solve them on my own. Thank you for this experience, now I have my own really working project in my portfolio! Can't wait for the next course and learning React!
The majority of the weeks covered new content, tools, and methods that were vital to coding not just an online portfolio but coding websites in general that look good and are responsive across different platforms. The later weeks become a little repetitive since I began working on my final project since the first week, but I understand others may have a different approach.

I liked how it was paced and encouraged you to build each part of your project after each of Matt's demos, so you weren't left with the entire thing to produce at the end! This is the third SheCodes workshop I have completed, and it has been the most enjoyable so far! Having previously accomplished the SheCodes Plus workshop, I was excited to take on another challenge and further enhance my front-end development skills. This workshop is an incredible introduction to responsive design, multiple-page hosting, SEO, and more. Not only were the homework exercises engaging, but the final project was the most rewarding experience I have had (so far) learning with SheCodes. The online portfolio is an excellent way to showcase your coding progress and demonstrate the range of knowledge gained throughout the workshops. I can't wait to move on to the next course: SheCodes React!
SheCodes React is a great course to begin learning about react.js. With the information taught, students can learn how to use APIS to build sophisticated apps & projects, like a dictionary app & a weather app. It was very educational and taught me a lot. I'm excited to hopefully use react.js in my career in the future!

I did a lot of outside research and worked with other engineers to make my react projects, so I could write better code and get a better result than the course project but I did enjoy making this applications!

I have learned a lot in regards to API variation in this add-on course and how those learned skills can be applied across different interfaces. The API work is something I have very much enjoyed using and I am looking forward to using these learned skills in future projects. The SheCodes Plus workshop transitioned smoothly from the previous Basics workshop, continuing to teach with the same level of attention to detail and with the same focus on building from each previous lesson into the next. I enjoyed the challenge of this course to keep learning and applying new techniques, and my level of confidence in coding has grown significantly with this second SheCodes workshop. In addition to practising the fundamentals of writing HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the workshop also taught new skills, such as how to integrate APIs into an app for rapid retrieval of data, how to use GitHub, how to use a hosting service, and how to apply Bootstrap formatting. I've learned a lot, I intend to use my new skills to try to build some small projects which I've started to plan out, and I'm already looking forward to starting the next workshop!

The World Clock project was by far one of my favourites so far! I really enjoyed learning creating Select elements, timing JS events and exploring what Moment.js can do. It's so eye-opening and exciting getting to understand all these concepts and then practicing it yourself.

My name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey so far has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Manangement and I was not happy with what I've studyed but because I wanted to have a qulification and get a job so I can earn a living so i went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some bootcamp and I fall inlove with it but to enroll to that bootcamp you needed funding which I did'nt have. So I did my reserch and I ended up founding Delac Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity still on it and excicted for more learning and more adventure in coding π plus I have completed my shecodes plus it was challenging but yet amazing experience the fact that I now have my first project that operates with real life data it amazes me Iβm learning a lot can not wait for my next lessons and project β€οΈ

This project was really fun and simple in terms of design. It was heavy in JS which is exactly what I was hoping for. I loved being able to think through each issue I had and figure it out. Loved the project overall.

Throughout the bootcamp, I had the opportunity to work on three projects that showcased my newfound coding skills. The course was a real eye-opener, both in terms of what can be achieved even with simple HTML, CSS and Javascript, but also in terms of what I was able to achieve in just over 2-weeks of study. When my final project was complete and I tested it for the first time, and everything worked, I felt a huge sense of achievement. The Basics course has been so much fun to complete. I really enjoyed how engaging the material was. The format of the course helps to solidify the concepts learned, and apply them into projects, which is such a great way of learning.
I didn't expect to enjoy coding as much as I did with Matt and the community. I had some challenges, but I learned a lot in the last two months and feel proud of my final projects. It was rewarding to continue building my knowledge after each lesson and figuring out how to troubleshoot, especially if it took several hours. I found most of the answers I needed from the Slack channel. I hope to bring this knowledge with me as a UX, UI, or Product Designer. I highly recommend SheCodes, and I will miss the lessons, unless I end up completing more past the Plus program.
