I really enjoyed the world clock project and learning some new elements. The pace of the lessons was perfect and, per usual, it was easy to follow along.
As a woman aspiring to break into the tech industry, I was aware of the challenges and barriers that often stand in our way. However, SheCodes has given me hope, confidence and opened the door to connect with fellow women who share similar aspirations and challenges. The Add-on project was a bit more time consuming, and challenging than the Basics project. Comparing the two landing pages though, I think the benefit of taking this workshop is clear. I was able to create a much more aesthetically pleasing/put together landing page, and would 100% recommend everyone take this opportunity to build upon the fundamentals previously learned.

I have recently completed the basics of coding through the SheCodes program. It is a good coding course and i would recommend it to people who would like to learn to code and have no basics of coding. The material they use to teach us is easy to understand and to access. Their projects are real-life project where to you test what you have learnt and gain experience. Their team is supportive.
React has definitely been more challenging, however it's one of the better skills to learn. I hope to learn and understand more with time. I look forward to attempt new challenges with React. You really do need to stick to projects daily to gain full understanding π
I enjoyed the learning process and the frustration of JavaScript. π It is taught very well and you understand how to build a page from scratch. The final project was lovely to build, I really enjoyed it. It's fascinating learning everything and finally getting the code to work.
Like any other journey, this one had its ups and downs, but I'm thrilled that I've made it this far; it was truly worth it. The depth and content of the materials, assignments, and project, as well as the instructor's expertise and the support of the team, are all deserving of my appreciation and thanks. I really enjoyed accessing this module so I could practise and build on the skills I'd developed in SheCodes Basics. SheCodes is an incredibly accessible way for women around the world to learn how to code. The lessons are easy to follow and move at a good pace. The projects are not only interesting, but also have real life value as examples of what you can do for potential employers. I appreciate that Matt always encourages us to have fun and to take breaks when we get frustrated - it's a healthy attitude that helps prevent me from getting overwhelmed. When I was a teacher, I learned that the most valuable thing we can teach our students is the ability to learn. Teaching people how to learn, problem solve, and figure things out on their own is incredibly empowering. SheCodes does that for you. While it's not always the most fun as a student (π ), being put in situations where you have to apply previous knowledge to figure out a new puzzle is a great exercise for learning. You'll often find yourself in positions like that during your lessons, but you become all the more stronger for it.
