This project was a little more tedious and challenging. The instructor made it easy to follow and understand the content of the project.

This workshop was great because it really helped me be able to see what it is like working as a developer using someone else's design. I learned a lot from SheCodes. The fact that every class is followed by a challenge is really great to put our knowledge on use. I used to find programming logic really difficult but the classes and the project helped me to understand the logic of the functions and how everything falls into place on the code. I watched other programming courses before but this one is the one that helped me the most and it was also the most didatic one that I did.
As a first time coder this workshop has been the best experience ever! Seeing the code of my first project run was the best moment.

This is a nice addition to the Basics workshop! I've learnt new CSS techniques that will eventually help my projects look much better. I'm not really into the CSS transform properties and the fancy backgrounds because I think that they are too "noisy". However, it's good to know how to work with these tools for future reference. I really enjoyed doing the final project and appreciate the fact that it looks really good and much more interactive for the user. It was nice to have Matt's support throughout the project development.
The basics add on was somehow easier than basics. Perhaps because i had an underlying understanding of code. How Matt demonstrates and explains the project, taking you step-by-step through the process makes building a webpage much simpler than you would initially think. I really enjoy being able to make pages based on my interests - it keeps me engaged. Thanks for the fun :)

I was a bit surprised at how much I enjoyed the SheCodes Basic course. I was expecting coding to be super boring, but didn't realize how creative it can be. Once you get started, the possibilities are endless! I just graduated from a graphic design program, and wanted to take this course to make myself more "hireable" to prospective employers and to stand out from my peers in the increasingly competitive job market. When searching for design jobs, most mention candidates with HTML and CSS experience is a huge plus, though not required. I have designed in Figma for UI/UX projects, but I know they will have to be passed off to a developer. This course has helped me improve my skillset and will make it easier when communicating with developers in the future.
Another great project! At start it seemed hardly possible, but step by step and here we are - a dictionary app with multiply API integration. What a journey! It is sad that the learning experience is coming to an end, but at the same I'm EXTREMELY EXCITED of what is coming NEXT! π€ͺπ©π»βπ»

I never thought I would actually finish a project containing JavaScript , so I must say this is really well structured to teach you the basics pretty well to understand if you do not have any experience with coding at all.

I really enjoyed this workshop. I have a learning disability and haven't been in school in years, so I was nervous I would have difficulty, however it was pretty simple and straight forward. I actually had a ton of fun creating the last project, even so that I finished super early and tried to add in extra things that were taught, and things I googled to figure out. It was really fun! I did have issues with how the videos would teach us one thing, but then the work you needed to submit asked you to do something that wasn't even taught to you yet. I also didn't quite understand why an entire workshop for teaching women to code is taught by a man. A woman instructor would be better, though I understand Matt is the creator and therefor he teaches it all. I would really like to continue with the other workshops, however they are unfortunately not something I can afford.

React is incredibly fun and challenging, this project re-worked my memory into remembering what I learned for my weather app a long time ago, and what not to do!
React was difficult to understand, but the bigger concepts did make sense by the end of the course. I am happy with the final project and would like to learn more about React.
This has by far been the most challenging yet extremely motivating project yet. I have enjoyed scratching my head, trying to figure out where the lesson is going to go ahead of our teacher and really seeking external resources for guidance. I can see closer to my reality as a web developer day to day now. What a great learning experience.

Just finished my Basics add-on project. It was fun creating another page. Learned how to create grid layouts and changing the theme of a page using JS. Nice way to practice more of your css and html as well. I liked how we made the project together step by step per lesson. Saved me from going back and watching the videos for the final project over again.

It's true that sometimes it's a bit frustrating but at the end of the day you have fun in the process and you are happy with your result. Right now I'm applying to universities and this course made me realize that I don't only want to study design but I want to combine it with some software programming like computer science, animation and videogame engineering and digital design. My final project was a web page where I wrote my college admissions essay and that way I could show them my skills. :))))
It was a nice workshop to help me improve my CSS and refresh the skills learned from SheCodes Basic. The final project was also very fun to make!
SheCodes Responsive has been so educational in making projects look good on any device, and I'm happy I took it.
