I enjoyed coding with SheCodes. Building the final project of the Basics has given me the feeling of being accomplished. This is a step closer to my goal to be a coder.
Doing this project was challenging. I had to go back to the lessons. Although it took me 7 attempts, it was worth it in the end. Being able to see my code come alive is the best feeling ever. Cannot wait to learn and challenge myself even more.
I had fun to see how the AI API worked, I found it very fascinating yet simple. I am very proud of this project and it is very neat to see how powerful this API can be and plan on playing with it beyond the subject I have chosen. Matt is a great teacher and shows best practices.
I am so happy that I came across SheCodes , I long wanted a career change , and I really enjoyed the lessons they were short and straight to the point. At the beginning of course it was a bit difficult and frustrating but I took my time until i figured it out, I had so much fun doing the final project and I canβt wait to start SheCodes Plus next week. SheCodes Responsive has been my favourite module so far. From refreshing the basics of HTML & CSS to the new skills learnt, such as reactivity to change between different screen sizes, to the acknowledgement of previous projects completed, I found this module to be the most satisfying and confidence boosting that all the effort to learn these new languages is sinking in. I am proud of my Portfolio webpage and cant wait to share it.

LOVED this course. I have always preferred self paced courses due to life's natural pivot to chaos. SheCodes has TONS of resources for when you run into a confusing section on a assignment, personal project, or you decide to take creative liberties elsewhere. The classes were very well organized to where I could go back to a previous lesson to help me understand what I'm doing incorrect outside of the course. I was able to learn so efficiently that I was hospitalized for a few days, bed rest for a month, and came back into the coursework with excitement and understanding. Before enrolling in SheCodes, I was enrolled in a different coding workshop which I did not succeed in. I was left feeling discouraged, disappointed and incapable of learning to code. I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity to learn coding. I have experienced many educational programs in my life, I am a psychologist-coach, teacher and educational author, and I can honestly say that this was the best course ever. Course structure: The lessons are incredibly well structured, showing excellent insight in what the student is going through. For example, just when I felt like I needed to review the previous material because it was getting a little bit overwhelming, the next lesson - week 7- was a recap in which everything we had learnt was reviewed. Course content: Next to that, each lesson was a tiny step, so I never felt lost or confused. This is a key point to the course: it could seem incredibly overwhelming, but because of the small steps you suddenly arrive at the destination without realizing it! Individual learning path: The program also gives you the option to choose which level you want to engage in. For instance, the final project had two options, a basic and a more ellaborate one. And when working on the weekly challenges you can ask for help or get some hints if you want to. In terms of what we learn, I have consulted with software developers and they say it's a very complete program. Support! The SheCodes team is also very supportive and responsive: they are always available on Slack or email to answer any questions or help with any issues very quickly so when things got challenging it was nice to know that they were there. Their tone was always very friendly and they always put a smile on my face. Also, through Slack, other students help as well. SheCodes community: Last but not least, what really makes this experience unforgettable is the sense of community that the course creates. The SheCodes Radio we got from Matt just did it for me :) :). Thank you SheCodes! I enrolled in the Basic Course and then I immediately signed up for the Max course. Now that the Plus course is almost over, I am so glad I did, because I don't want to stop here! If you doubt whether to enrol or not, just DO IT! You will be so happy you did!
I've been looking to change careers and knew this is something I wanted to look into but didn't know where to start, or if I'd even enjoy it. I wasn't willing to go back to school and get yet another degree for something I wasn't sure about. I'm glad I found SheCodes! This is a great place to start and get a feel for it. Instruction is good & projects are challenging. I've learned a lot already in just the basics. Support from SheCodes seems great as well, though I haven't needed to reach out myself yet. It was great for building confidence and fun to build a more sophisticated landing page, it was visual evidence of my skills developing and I loved it.

A fantastic course for beginners! I remembered bits of coding from my earlier years which helped with the challenges. But I really loved learning the CSS and Javascript within the basics course. Matt explained everything thoroughly and he encourages learners to go out and look for coding by checking the source codes on various websites to get answers, ideas and inspiration. I have a full time job as a project analyst and a child to look after and I found 1 week was ample time to complete the lessons and challenges! SheCodes Plus course, here I come!

I've really enjoyed this Basics Add-on Class. The instruction was once again easy to follow and yet very informative. The challenges and hands-on projects throughout the course let me apply my new knowledge instantly and helped me to consolidate it. I feel more confident trying new CSS properties and experiment with styling on my pages. In the future I can really see myself doing this professionally and I can't wait to embark on further coding challenges with SheCodes.
