It was so much fun to learn the ins and outs of coding in further detail through these projects. There were a few times I had to stand up and walk away from my computer, but the second I came back, it would click. There is a sense of pride in creating something from scratch that is functional in the end :)
I learned lots of new tips through the Basics add-on! With each new lesson it's getting more and more interesting. In the final project, I had the chance to showcase some of my own digital illustrations, which was really cool.🌿
Just wrapped up this cool HTML, CSS, and JavaScript course, and I gotta say, it was a blast! The way they broke down coding basics made it super easy to grasp, and things got really interesting when we dove into JavaScript and started playing with APIs. What I loved most was the hands-on approach – lots of real projects to apply what we learned. And the API stuff? Mind-blowing! They made it seem way less intimidating. If you're into web development and want to level up your skills, this course is a game-changer. Big shoutout to the instructors for making coding fun and accessible. Definitely recommend it!

In this workshop, I'll learned how to create a functioning weather app by injecting real-time data in my project using more complex javascript such as AJAX, API and hosting. It was 8 challenging and difficult weeks, but it's very satisfying when you're able to build a complex project from scratch using quite advanced and sophisticated techniques.
SheCodes has been one of the most amazing experiences, I never imagined being able to learn how to code. Creating things from scratch is one of many things I’m passionate about, and being able to do it through coding has been an exciting journey. I just finished SheCodes Basics and I loved every step of the process. Matt has been an incredible instructor; he will accompany you through videos from the beginning and end of the workshop. The SheCodes support team is always there to help you, you never get stuck. Everything that you learn will be applied, the assignments and projects are meant for you to explore and increase your creativity. SheCodes workshops are clear to understand and also push you to improve your knowledge in coding. Every level that you reach through coding will make you a greater coding creator. I am beyond happy and grateful with SheCodes, I highly recommend it. You just need to have a willing attitude to learn and create!

This workshop gives a big learning experience for me. Before joining this workshop, I had a few opportunities to build a website from scratch and also using existing template available. However, I did not have a strong foundation in coding before and I would always need to google in order to be able to solve some task. This was a great intro course! The videos are easy to understand for beginners and there's access to lots of support. The final project allows you to combine everything you have learnt to solidify your skills, which I really enjoyed.

Creating dark mode was a challenge at first, but I flew through it at the end! Great project, I had fun designing this.
I didn't have much experience with AI before this course but the course was very informative and easy to follow which made building the project exciting.
I came in with very basic knowledge of html and css so as a beginner I thought the course was good in helping me build in to what I already know. The ask athena function was very nice and having the solution to help guide my own solution was good as sometimes I became so stuck I had to leave the project alone to come back with fresh eyes.
It was a very enjoyable project. Feeling more and more confident with JS I particularly had fun exploring new ways to utilize ChatGPT. Happy coding!
While this project was challenging it drastically improved my confidence in playing around with and debugging my code.
The course was great, particularly in the areas of creating intuitive menus and developing responsive websites. This course is a step up compared to the previous ones and definitely tries to push you out of your comfort zone but the SheCodes team is always supportive in case we get stuck. This one was quite challenging with very dense information. I think it could've been spread out more into different themes/focuses with more gradual homework tasks towards the final project. Also The errors and experiments with the live coding were confusing. I would've much preferred a redo version. I also think the documentation is not always compatible with the material featured in the learning videos.
This course was fun, packed with information, and the pacing is just perfect! I found very quick help whenever I was stuck. In just three weeks, I learned new skills, and more importantly, I was taught how to research by myself how to do new things. I enjoyed building my final project so much. I can't wait to keep going !

The Basic add on is a great way to practice the skills that you just learned in the basics class and to add another project to your portfolio! This was a very fun class to learn some new skills, putting them all together to create a project!
I absolutly loved doing the AI Add-on, the learning was as with the previous ones I've done very easy to follow, the challenges were incredibly helpful for putting into practice what I had just learnt and I found that I was noticing little errors in my work quicker and logically working out why something was not working. I really REALLY recommend this course, I had a lot of fun with the end project and wanted to make something that showed some of my Irish heritage, with my cheeky personality added in but also something that made people smile! Check out my project even if its just to add two minutes of sillyness to your day! Have fun with this project if you go on to do it! 😁
Although this course had a bit of a learning curve, it definitely was rewarding to see the final project come to life and pulling real-time data (that worked!). Overall, I am very satisfied with the course and pace... and now I can take these skills and continue building for more complex projects down the line.
