I just finished the Basis Add-on Project workshop. Once again I've learned a lot and so many things make sense to me now. I now look at websites in a new way and its exciting to see what one can do with CSS and Javascript.
This project was very challenging. I wanted to create my component names, so I wasn't just copying the code directly from Matt's source code to fully understand it. I relied on Athena AI, Claude.ai, and Netlify to debug and fix some of my code. This was helpful when completing the project because I gained a better understanding of some of the components and their interrelated elements.
This has been so much fun and so innovative. I have learned so much about CSS, HTML AND JavaScript. I feel these skills will help me improve so much and develop my own concepts and projects.

Creating this dictionary app was a great learning journey for me. I used two SheCodes APIs, one for fetching word definitions and another for retrieving related images to build a rich and interactive experience. When a user searches for a word, the app displays its definition, part of speech, example usage, synonyms, and relevant images that visually represent the word. Working with multiple APIs taught me how to manage asynchronous data, handle errors gracefully, and keep the UI responsive. I have really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop. I love how much I've learned new techniques in coding. The Athena AI tool is a lifesaver, and it has been my partner๐. I found GitHub and hosting on Netlify interesting. Learning with SheCodes and having to finish my projects has taught me to always make sure I complete all my tasks. I enjoyed how the instructor made the challenging things simple and enjoyable at the same time.
I have really enjoyed the Python Advanced workshop. Some days I was bamboozled, but always came good in the end. (& I had the reminder to always save your work with each step, after managing to delete half my project!). I can't say anything more than I have said before, a great workshop that I have learnt a lot from.
