What an incredible three weeks of learning coding basics with Matt Delac. This React course was challenging, especially during setup—I spent nearly two weeks troubleshooting an issue with npm and project configuration. Even though this project seemed like it was complicated to completed, it was broken down into small components that were easy to understand. Using the videos provided with the lessons, I completed this project over the course of a weekend.

Working on my portfolio project took a couple of weeks around work, it was fun and sometimes frustrating, but I'm so happy with the progress I've made, and it's a huge improvement to my previous portfolio. I'm still finding many things I want to fix and tweak, and so I feel this will be an ongoing project with much more learning!

The SheCodes Plus Add-on workshop was the perfect next step after learning the basics. Working with HTML input types and select elements gives us more control over user interactions, but the real game-changer was working with JavaScript timing events and date formats. The step-by-step approach from setup to HTML, CSS, and then adding single and multiple locations made what seemed like a complex project feel manageable. The Plus Add-on perfectly bridged the gap between beginner concepts and slightly more advanced development! Building a functional multi-location clock app has been one of my favorite projects. Brilliant Workshop ! Taught me all the essentials to create my own project with great UX design using HTML,CSS and Javascript.

I really enjoyed the Plus Add-On course in the She Codes Foundation Web Development program. It gave me the opportunity to deepen my understanding of coding concepts through hands-on practice. The structured lessons and real-world projects made learning both effective and inspiring. It helped me feel more confident and motivated to continue my journey in tech.

After a 3‑year break from coding, this project was the perfect way to restart my journey. It reminded me how much I enjoy creating with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I felt challenged in the best way and learned so much through the process. I’m truly grateful to Matthieu for his guidance and encouragement—it made the experience even more inspiring!

After having an interest in knowing how things work, it was fun to learn the aspects that make a webpage work, to learn new skills and have the opportunity to create fun new projects.
