Being able to express myself through code is liberating and Shecodes has given me the opportunity learn and grow my knowledge in coding and self-assurance to start working on projects of my own that I never thought I'd be capable of doing as well as to become more involved in technical tasks.

I absolutely loved SheCodes! Having never studied coding before, this was my first introduction to the world of tech and it couldn't have been explained any better. I had great fun building my project and learning a new skill. Matt is a fantastic teacher and I would strongly recommend this course.

I just completed the SheCodes Plus Add-on Project, and I’m proud to present my own Luxury Travel Planner App — an interactive Python-based tool that uses live weather and AI-generated travel itineraries. This project was a great opportunity to level up my Python skills and learn how to work with APIs, user input validation, and advanced console UI design using libraries like rich. Integrating the SheCodes AI and Weather APIs brought everything together into one smooth user experience — complete with a personalized day-by-day itinerary and real-time weather data. This hands-on project truly boosted my confidence and showed me how powerful Python can be for real-world applications.

I have been looking forward to a time when I will complete this basics course.It was an eye opener and I learnt concepts I thought would be difficult for me to master.I am hopping to continue exercising so as to create more side projects so as not forget how to use html ,css and javascript.

Before this course, I was absolutely terrible of making my projects responsive but this helped sooo much!! Also, I was super scared to use bootstrap because before it was very intimidating but working with bootstrap within each lesson has helped me to understand the platform, it's capabilities and i'm even getting better at reading documentation!

A very well thought out course! Each step was broken down into bite-sized chunks that were easily digestible. Each lesson built on the previous to the point the final exercise was a breeze! I can't wait to continue expanding my development knowledge with future lessons and projects.

The react add-on course tested my knowledge and skills in order to build an interactive dictionary app. This project emphasizes the practical application of React concepts, including state management, API integration, and component-based architecture.

I've been studying a JavaScript course since last year but had to put it aside for personal reasons, and I've just recently picked it up again. It's been a game-changer for my understanding of programming. The lessons are well-structured, practical, and beginner-friendly, making complex concepts much easier to grasp. It has all come together very well in terms of HTML and CSS on a responsive site. Great to build from scratch and looking forward to doing it on other projects.

What a tough one but I am incredibly proud of the skills I've gained and applied in building my recent Python project, which successfully visualizes global internet population trends. This endeavor honed my proficiency in data handling and processing using the csv module, enabling me to efficiently extract and prepare raw data. I further enhanced my capabilities in data structuring, expertly leveraging dictionaries to organize complex information by continent for seamless access. The project culminated in my adept use of matplotlib.pyplot for data visualization, where I transformed numerical data into an insightful and professional line graph, demonstrating my ability to create clear, customized, and compelling visual narratives. Overall, this project significantly deepened my command of core Python fundamentals and reinforced my passion for data-driven problem-solving, it was not easy with so many breaks, but definitely worth it.

I just completed the weather app project from the SheCodes Plus workshop, and I’m so excited about what I’ve learned! I really enjoyed the React Add-On workshop. I learnt to build a fully functional dictionary, showing meanings, examples, synonyms and images related to the word. The project involved using APIs and react loops, also splitting application into different components to ensure they are clear, and easy to understand/manoeuvre. I absolutely enjoyed that not only is this course self-paced but that I continue to have access to past workshops and lessons completed to reference. As I worked on completing the project for the Basic Add-on (and introduction to Front End), I truly enjoyed learning how coding works and the possibilities of what coding can do. I'm not as timid when I continue onto the next course of Front End.

SheCodes Plus was a game-changer for me. The workshop built on the basics and really helped me deepen my understanding of front-end development. This has to be my favourite project so far. I honestly love design and playing with colours, so it was a fun project to do. Had a small bump there and there but consistency and rewatching the videos helped me understand a whole lot better and now I can proudly say I "cracked the code" 😂😉. Onto the next!

SheCodes not only taught me how to code, but it also empowered me to envision a career in tech. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and this is only the beginning.

SheCodes gave me the confidence and skills to build real-world projects from scratch using vanilla JavaScript. Working on my weather app, I learned how to fetch live data from APIs, manipulate the DOM dynamically, and structure clean, responsive UIs with just HTML, CSS, and JS—no frameworks needed. It was empowering to see everything come together using only the core web technologies. Thanks to SheCodes, I now understand how powerful and accessible coding can be.

Very interesting, enjoyable and excessively educative workshop, i really enjoyed the practice side of it by creating projects and learning by doing apart from the theoretical aspect. I highly suggest it!
