I think it was pretty easy to follow, although I would've liked more thorough explanations on how and why things are like they, but I understand this is a basics bootcamp so it might be just that. I also liked the simplicity of the projects that encompassed everything we learned.

I have really been enjoying SheCodes so far. I've learnt a lot in a short period of time. The workshops are self-paced, so you can adjust your schedule to them. You have small challenges within almost every lesson, which give you good practice ahead of the final project, and allow you to have momentum, so that you remember what you've been working on. I have really enjoyed these classes. I love that there are projects that you can do for each lesson and a final project to test your knowledge. The projects get graded quickly and with great feedback. You can also ask for help if you are stuck on one of the projects.

Building this World Clock app helped me improve my JavaScript skills tremendously. I learned how to update content dynamically with setInterval and handle user input in real time. This was such a great introduction to working with external libraries, integrating live data, and deploying a responsive project!

Although, I think practice, practice, practice is going to get me to the place I want to be in, this course is super beneficial. Everything I am learning is delivered in small increments making it very digestible and easy to follow. I also appreciate how the final project was laid out step by step. This has been a great add-on to my basic coding knowledge; There is a big difference from my basic landing page project to this one. A huge thanks to Matt Delac and SheCodes. I am so confident in becoming a web developer because of all the information and experience I got from the workshop.

I really enjoyed the Advanced Python course with SheCodes. The lessons were well-structured, and the final project gave me a real sense of achievement. I won’t pretend it all came naturally. There were definitely moments when my brain just went blank! But the final project made a huge difference. Following along step by step helped things click into place, and I was able to build working code and start seeing how everything fits together. I know I’ll need to keep practising, but this course has given me a stronger understanding of Python and a solid foundation to build on.

I enjoyed working on the SheCodes Responsive Add-on project! It was a challenge at times, which made it all the more rewarding. I learned a lot about responsive design and how to make websites look great on all screen sizes. Although it took me a bit longer to complete than I expected, the experience was well worth it, and it's helped me grow my skills.

This workshop was very interesting and fun. The JavaScript though was a bit on the advanced level but because the videos are in reasonable bite sizes, it was not overwhelming. I can't wait to put my knowledge of JavaScript to many more projects.

From Debugging to "Done" - My SheCodes Journey Taking on the SheCodes weather app challenge has been one of the most empowering things I've ever done.What started as a simple assignment turned into a personal project full of heart, transformation, and late-night breakthroughs (and breakdowns too- but we survived.!) But more than the app, I discovered just how much creativity, resilience, and passion I could pour into code. This AI project has been my absolute favorite coding project so far. I was so excited and captivated by the process that I couldn't take a break and ended up pulling an all-nighter! Great hands-on approach to learning JavaScript and APIs This course really helped me understand how to connect APIs to my code, which was honestly the most challenging part at first. The instructor breaks down complex concepts well, and I appreciated the practical projects that let you build real applications. The API integration section was tough initially - I struggled with understanding how to structure the requests and handle responses properly. But the more I practised with different APIs, the more comfortable I became with the syntax and error handling. Now I enjoy working with APIs just a little bit more! The course gives you solid foundations in JavaScript while teaching you to build projects you can actually showcase. I am glad to have done this SheCodes course. I was unsure whether or not I would even like coding before starting, but this course has introduced me to a field I would have otherwise not paid attention to. I appreciated and enjoyed learning all the materials and working on the weekly homeworks and final project. Definitely considering tackling the more advanced courses!

This was a very challenging at times but fun course. I started SheCodes in hopes that I can change my career into something more aligned with who I am and my interests and I feel confident I chose the best program to launch me in the right direction. I was worried I wouldn't remember it all for the final project but I really surprised myself with what I did remember and was able to research anything I was unsure of or go back to past lessons. I found myself really enjoying creating this webpage and I look forward to the rest of my workshops 🤍.

Joining SheCodes was one of the best decisions I've made. The way Matt broke down HTML, CSS and JavaScript made everything feel really approachable. I also loved the fact that each lessons were short (under ten minutes) which made it much easier to stay focused and not feel overwhelmed. There was no information overload, which I think is really great. I also loved the fact that my final project involved building something I'm really passionate about.

I had a great time working on this project, it was one of the hardest for me personally. I had to start over countless times, because I wanted a perfect project. I built a responsive World Clock using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the Moment.js and Moment-Timezone libraries. I am grateful to the SheCodes team for being able to say all these technical terms and know exactly what they mean because the lessons were easy to understand and apply.

I’ve always known that I wanted to break into the world of Computer Science — a field that’s still heavily male-dominated. It hasn’t always been easy.
