The Responsive Add-on workshop helped everything finally come together for me. I learned how to think about layout, grids, and responsiveness as a system instead of treating each issue separately. By the end, I felt confident structuring a full project with cards, embeds, filters, and responsive behaviour that actually made sense. It gave me both clarity and confidence in my front-end skills.

Just finished SheCodes Plus Add-On and Iโm leaving a genuine 5โญ review. I went purposefully slower on this one because I wanted to actually retain things, not just sprint to the finish. Iโm really glad I did. The course is structured properly, the lessons build in a sensible order, and the final World Clock project pulls everything together in a way that makes it stick. Also yes, I went a bit beyond the brief ๐ but Iโm proud of this build. Something clicked for me here, especially around state (what the app is โrememberingโ) and DOM nodes (what actually exists on the page). Once that clicked, debugging got way less chaotic and way more methodical. Iโm not just following steps now, I understand what Iโm changing and why. Huge thanks to SheCodes and Matt Delac (founder + instructor) for making it approachable without dumbing it down. Next up for me: Iโm building a combination project for extra practice, then onto the next course.

I absolutely loved using the skills I learned in Python Basics to create a more interactive project in Python AI! One of the difficulties I had with Python Basics was that I always wanted to go a bit further with the code, and that's exactly what the Python AI course allowed me to do. As with all the other SheCodes courses I've taken, lessons were succinct and engaging, and the challenges were fun to complete. One of my favourite aspects of the course is how customisable the final project is, thanks to how you can personalise your prompts.
I really enjoy how the classes are organized and the little challenges in between that give you a chance to play around with the code. I find myself immersed in the challenges and projects and always have a deep sense of satisfaction in seeing the code "come to life"!

This was a lot more challenging than I had expected! although the design is basic I learned how to use moment.js and moment Time zone to get real-time data without having to use an API. I really enjoyed this project and will be one I go back to later down the line to improve on the CSS.
This is a great course if you want an introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Personally, I had to do a lot of Googling and extra research alongside the course to fully grasp some of the concepts, but I actually really enjoyed that because it helped me learn even more. The lessons are clear and easy to follow, and I feel SO much more confident creating my own small projects now :)

This workshop is a fantastic introduction to the world of web coding. While mastering three coding languages in a short period takes dedicated effort and further study โ as youโd expect โ the hands-on approach of building projects is the most effective way to learn. In less than three weeks, I went from knowing nothing about CSS and JavaScript to confidently writing code, troubleshooting issues, and even analyzing website elements. Iโm excited to continue my learning journey!
This workshop was a bit more challenging (which was to be expected) and I enjoyed every minute of it. It really went in depth with the concepts that were touched on in the basics workshop. My favourite part was working on the project, playing around with code and seeing the final product. It was worth the challenge.

It's very interesting to learn a new language in the midst of the bootcamp and very satisfying to see this first weather project come to life. I still feel generally confused about Python, but hope that the next courses will explain more about how python integrates with other coding languages and in web applications.
This was a steep learning curve. I had to do a lot of outside research to keep up with the classes. I will say this was my least favorite to learn, only because there were so many rules and it seems React is so sensitive. I did enjoy the projects I built, and the troubleshooting and trial and error to get my code to work. I Thanks immensely for teaching this!

SheCodes is a good starting point to get familiar with JavaScript and front-end basics through hands-on projects. However, some concepts would benefit from a deeper explanation and more structured support, especially when debugging or understanding why things work (or donโt). Itโs useful as an introduction, but learners who want a stronger conceptual foundation may need to supplement it with additional resources.

It's a good program with a good project at the end, but some videos are out of date with their websites and what works and what doesn't. While that is acknowledged in the video, it is not very helpful having to watch the video still, and then figure out what to do with the updated websites. Still a great project, just frustrating sometimes

The SheCodes React Add-On pushed me beyond tutorial-following into genuine React thinking. What made this course valuable wasn't perfection. It was a productive struggle. Wrestling with state management, API response structures, and component architecture taught me why patterns exist, not just how to copy them. Debugging undefined data and conditional rendering logic was frustrating at times, but that's exactly where real learning happened. The dictionary project strikes an excellent balance: beginner-accessible yet realistic. Integrating external APIs, managing loading states, and handling deployment felt close to actual development work. I also appreciated the emphasis on clean code practices, ESLint warnings, and accessibility requirements, which built good habits from day one. The result? I now confidently read React code, debug my own mistakes, and build on real projects independently.

Working on this dictionary app has been such a rewarding experience! Itโs super cool to bring together multiple APIs โ from dictionary definitions and phonetics audio to fetching beautiful images from Pexels โ all in one smooth, interactive React app. I loved learning how to handle async data fetching, manage state with hooks, and build reusable components that really work together seamlessly. Plus, integrating audio playback with a little speaker icon was fun! This project gave me solid, hands-on experience with real-world API integration and React best practices. This course was amazing! I learned how to work with AI APIs and actually built my own AI Poem Generator website, which I deployed on Netlify. I feel much more confident making real projects now, and Iโd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to go from learning to building.

I loved this project. We have family all over the world, so it was fun to do this project and show it to my children, who could appreciate the meaning of the different time zones and how it linked to different members of our family. I recall Matt saying that at some point things will start to 'click' and this was the project where I really felt this.

It was a lot of fun to learn Python in connection with AI on a project basis. With each task, the project was expanded and optimized until the final project week. It was explained in an easy and understandable way. It was also great that what I learned in the Python Basic course could be deepened in the Python AI course through further application and development.
