It's always fun to see how much more we can do with the tools that we already have, I believe this was my main conclusion from this workshop. The data manipulation using JavaScript brings us a whole new range of possibilities when setting up a project, and makes it easier to display dynamic results.

While beeing currently in New York, I developed a fully responsive travel website from the ground up, focused on local food spots and attractions. I absolutely enjoyed this project, it sharpened my front-end development skills using HTML5, CSS Grid, HTML tables, and embeds. I created an interactive layout with travel project cards and dynamic visuals.
While doing my lessons with SheCodes, I started building my own online dictionary project as a way to apply what I was learning. The experience was incredible! I went from understanding basic React components to integrating real APIs like DictionaryAPI and Pexels. Seeing the definitions, phonetics, images, and even audio pronunciation come together felt so rewarding. The SheCodes Python AI Workshop was a fun and practical introduction to using AI in Python projects. I learned how to build a travel itinerary generator powered by an AI API. I made HTTP requests, constructed dynamic prompts using f-strings, and extracted relevant information from JSON responses.
I recently completed the SheCodes Plus coding workshop, and I can’t recommend it enough! Over the course of 8 lessons, we built an interactive global weather app—an awesome hands-on project that really brought everything together. While continuing to build on our HTML and CSS skills, we took a deeper dive into JavaScript and APIs, which was such an exciting step forward. I give so much credit to SheCodes for the way they’ve developed these workshops. Matt does an incredible job explaining the why behind what we’re learning, laying a strong foundation that truly sticks. The program also provides tons of helpful resources that I know I’ll be referring back to throughout my coding journey. One of the most fun parts for me was working with APIs. I had experience collaborating with developers on API configurations in a previous role, but actually being the developer this time around was a whole new (and super empowering) experience. I recently completed the 5-week SheCodes Responsive coding course and had a fantastic experience! I learned how to build responsive websites that adapt beautifully to any device using tools like Bootstrap, Utility CSS classes, responsive grids, and media queries. We also covered how to create navigation menus, optimize images, and add SEO to our code. Using VS Code Live Server made it easy to see changes in real-time, and I now feel confident hosting multi-page websites. One of the highlights was designing in Figma and turning that design into an actual website through code. I especially enjoyed building my first portfolio with four fully responsive pages that showcase all the projects I’ve created with SheCodes. I'm proud of what I’ve accomplished and excited to continue with the next two weeks of the Responsive Add-on course!
Taking this add on course and working on this new project made me realize just how fascinating css and javascript can be. really loved it!

Responsive Add On was once again an amazing experience. With the advanced skills I gained in responsive design in this course I can now develop even more appealing websites than before. I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the She Codes Basics add-on workshop, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I joined, I was welcomed into a supportive and empowering environment. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but also passionate about teaching coding to women, which made the experience truly inspiring. The workshop provided a perfect blend of theory and hands-on practice, allowing me to grasp fundamental coding concepts easily. Each session was well-structured, and the real-world projects we worked on gave me the confidence to apply what I learned. I especially enjoyed the collaborative atmosphere, where we shared ideas and solved problems together. Thanks to She Codes, I feel equipped with essential coding skills and a renewed sense of confidence to explore further in tech. The community is fantastic, and I am so grateful for the connections I made with fellow participants. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to kickstart their coding journey!

Finally completed my project for the Basic Add-ons workshop - a landing page showcasing my hobbies. When I first started, I had no idea how to make it look the way I wanted, but I figured it out step by step. It's not perfect yet, but seeing my interests come to life on a webpage feels pretty awesome!
I recently completed my SheCodesPlus certification, a web development certification, and I couldn't be more excited about my coding journey! 🎉 Mr.Matt is a super dynamic and assertive teacher, and his guidance made learning an amazing experience. I got truly enchanted with coding and will continue my studies with React. SheCodes' teaching methods are excellent, and the support team is incredibly quick to respond to questions.
