As a non-programmer in a family of programmers, I feel I have a great start to learning more and a basic understanding. This course has given me that foundation. I am eager to learn more, and Matt is an excellent teacher who gives you enough instruction while challenging you to keep it interesting. I am always excited to sit down and watch my SheCodes classes, work on my challenges, and, most importantly, finish my projects.

Matt's right - it's not an easy project, but it's so rewarding seeing your dedication to learning come together, piece by piece! I spent additional time working to understand JavaScript, so I understand the functionality as it's written, and it's helped me ten fold. Keen to keep progressing!

Plus Add-on workshop was really fun! I got to dive into the world of time zones and date formatting, which I honestly found fascinating. There is something satisfying about seeing a clock tick in real time on a page you built yourself. I loved working with moment.js and building my World Clock app. It felt like a real project that I could actually use and show off in friends and family.

Very easy-to-follow; nice digestible chunks and I like the project/challenge/solution approach to make it more practical and easy to follow along.

This project was a bit tricky at times, but I've really enjoyed working on it and I'm proud of myself for achieving the final outcome.

Yet another great class with SheCodes! This one was more involved and the project really gave me a sense of what building a site start to finish felt like. I really enjoyed it!

This course helped me become more confident with React and problem solving. At first, building projects with APIs felt overwhelming, but completing the dictionary app showed me how much progress I’ve made. A few weeks ago I didn't know how to connect to an API. Now I've built three live apps - a weather dashboard, an AI poem generator, and a world clock. All deployed and working on the internet. The SheCodes AI Add-on taught me more than syntax. It taught me how to think through problems, debug when things break, and build things that actually work. What I'm most proud of? These aren't just tutorial projects anymore, I customized the designs, chose the features, and made them mine. Ready to build my own portfolio now!

What I love most is that these aren't just course projects anymore, they're mine! I customized everything and seeing them work end-to-end is unmatched. Ready to build on my own now!

This AI chapter was very interesting and fun to learn. I learned how to use an API to generate content from user input. Learning Responsive was super challenging, but it was very fun to marry the skills I've learned for HTML and CSS with the functionality of Bootstrap. Very cool final project!

My journey with SheCodes started off amazing, learning code was fun and exciting up until it started to clash with my university studies. Test week at school approached and I had to put SheCodes on pause. But I ended up being too drained from school that I missed my deadline for some of my homeworks, including my final project. Luckily, extensions are allowed and it was given to me as an option. Instead of dropping out, I opted for an extension that bought me more time to finish my project. Next time, I'll try to start another workshop or add-on workshop once I've clearly set up my schooling schedule to prevent any clashes from occurring.

Completing this chapter was both challenging and rewarding. I improved my weather app by adding real-time API data, including wind speed, weather description, icons, and humidity. I also learned how to make my application fully dynamic, removing hardcoded values and ensuring everything updates based on user input. Debugging and improving the user experience helped me better understand how JavaScript, APIs, and HTML work together. Deploying my project on Netlify and updating my GitHub repository gave me more confidence in sharing my work and building real-world projects. This chapter helped me grow not only in coding but also in problem-solving and attention to detail.

This project helped me understand how to connect JavaScript with real AI APIs and build a working web application. I learned how to structure a project, and deploy it online with Netlify. It was challenging but very useful for improving my frontend skills.

I'm so excited to finally see my finished weather app live on the internet! It's been challenging. There were moments where I had no idea why things weren't working but pushing through it made it so worth it. Everything I learned throughout the course came together in this project. From structuring the page, to styling it, to connecting a real API and displaying live weather data. I built something real, and that feeling is unmatched. 100% worth every frustrating moment!

SheCodes has truly been a game-changer for me. This was the final project and definitely one of the most challenging ones, mainly because there was a lot of trial and error (a lot of error mainly). I like the results and seeing how far I've come in understanding React.

The SheCodes React Dictionary project has been such a satisfying project to build. Everything from the React course came together in one place: components, state, API integration, responsive design, and real UX thinking. I loved going beyond the brief: I designed the empty state from scratch with a custom animated SVG illustration, and added small details like synonym chips. React keeps inspiring me to build more. I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus course. Before this, I struggled a lot with front-end development, especially CSS. It often felt confusing and hard to bring designs to life. Started off unsure how to use AI in my projects, but now I am confident and learned a lot.

It has been a challenging journey for me but the short structured lessons were of great help. I appreciate the self -paced lessons and the youtube videos attatched. They were of much help especially when it came to use of Git hub. I was supposed to have submitted my week 8 project in Jan 12 2026. Am happy I didn't quit and I have completed it in April. I say thank you to the she codes team and more importantly to Matt.

I can’t recommend SheCodes Python enough! The lessons are clear, the platform is beautiful, and the technical support is top-notch. I never thought I’d actually enjoy learning about loops and dictionaries, but the way SheCodes gamifies the learning process makes it addictive. I walked away with a solid foundation in Python and a project I’m genuinely proud of. Best investment I’ve made in myself this year! The only downside was working with Replit; it felt completely different from Matt’s explanations and often contradicted the Replit documentation, which was a bit frustrating at times.

Certificate number 7 unlocked! I’ve just completed the SheCodes Python AI workshop — a focused two‑week deep dive into building intelligent applications with Python. This workshop stretched me in all the right ways. I explored: • What AI really is and how to engineer effective prompts • How to connect Python with OpenAI and SheCodes AI APIs • How to handle structured data like JSON • How to format AI output cleanly using Markdown • How to integrate real‑time weather data into an application • How to bring all of this together into a working AI project My final project was an AI‑powered travel itinerary generator — built from scratch, using everything I learned. Each SheCodes workshop adds another layer to my skill set, and this one has opened the door to even more possibilities with Python and AI. Feeling proud, motivated, and ready for the next step.

i started shecodes 2023 and had so much joy in me but along the line i suffered a major setback that made me stop learning . Fast forward to 2026, i came back and was so happy i still had access. started all over again, learnt, did my projects all over again, summitted them all over again and i must say, am so grateful for this. Its like i got back in control of my life and did what i always wanted to do. Thank you shecodes because my loved ones always wanted to know how far i have gone. This is a dream come true!.

Another great and very interesting project that helped set some concepts and introduced other cool ones! Looking back it's amazing to see what I can do now in comparison to when I just started.
