As a complete beginner and definitely not at all tech minded i was concerned that this course would be beyond my abilities but wanted to give it a go. Imagine my surprise to have just been able to submit my final project, an actual webpage with an interactive button. I am beyond proud! Thank you so much to the Team for helping me so much, quite often when i was stuck and something wasn't working it was simply a missing bracket or colon, i will check for these in future and will look forward to doing the next course!

Completing the Python Basics workshop was a great experience. With no prior Python knowledge, I now understand the fundamentals. The course was well-structured, easy to follow, and the instructors were helpful and engaging. My final project—a weather application—helped solidify my learning and apply key concepts. I now feel ready to advance to a higher level and deepen my knowledge.

When I first started, I didn’t know much, but Matt taught me so much in a short amount of time. I’m really grateful for how he guided me step-by-step, providing hands-on projects that helped me retain the information and gave me the confidence to build my own websites.

My SheCodes Plus journey was absolutely phenomenal. I have honed my CSS and JavaScript skills through the Plus workshop and as someone who had no background in JS, I was quite challenged but because of Matt Delac's ability to explain the complexities of JS codes integration, I was able to tackle the interactive challenges provided and could successfully complete my project. I have truly learnt a lot and I am a lot more confident in my coding skills as I have acquired a solid foundation in HTML, JavaScript and CSS. This was a super fun project.

Cool project without any API integration! It was nice to learn about the usage of the moment.js library since working with libraries can be quite overwhelming. But one step at a time ... I also enjoyed adding more locations and styling.

Easy to follow along bite size lessons. Week 1 - was well paced and simple to dip my toes. Week 2 - now were talking. things got interesting. and more fun. Week 3 - challenging but rewarding to see the final project come to life I'd totally recommend SheCodes to others.

SheCodes Python Basics transformed me from a complete beginner with Python to someone who could build a working weather application, like I did with JavaScript in SheCodes Plus. Through hands-on projects, I learned essential programming concepts with Python, worked with APIs, and gained practical experience with Python libraries like requests and rich. The course's project-based approach helped me create something tangible--a command-line weather app that pulls real data and presents it beautifully. This experience gave me the confidence and foundation I needed to continue my journey in software development.

I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop. It was great to revisit these programming languages, as it had been a while since I last worked with them. Matt Delac made it easier for me to recall much of what I had learned before while also introducing new concepts. Although it was challenging at first, I now feel much more comfortable with coding. I have a great time completing the AI add-on! The final project is enjoyable and provides a wide range of possibilities for employing AI in your day-to-day and working life. Starting from the skeleton of the project you can adapt the code to fulfill your or your clients' needs.

Improving skills while having fun is an effective way to learn. Using the SheCodes AI API to create projects like poems and jokes is a prime example of how entertainment and technology can merge to create an engaging educational experience. It's astonishing what can be achieved today with the advancements in AI, turning simple coding exercises into creative outputs.

I enjoyed going through the JavaScript section a lot! I gave this course 4* because I wish we had gone more in depth in JavaScript basics, before building the whole project. While Matt is a great teacher I do think the videos could have more explanations on why something is being done :) All in all, a great course to get you acquainted with the development flow and getting to build a whole project with the last weeks is very fun :)

The project and exercises were helpful. However, if you want to improve your work, you will need to go the extra mile and make use of the resources available on the internet. In conclusion, the experience was very engaging.

So far the workshops have been fun and easy to follow, I can find it hard to stay focused on a task but the weekly lessons break everything down into manageable pieces that act as great building blocks for the final project.

This project was such a blast to work on for my portfolio! I learned so much, including how to properly craft prompts for AI, work with AI APIs, style CSS directly in JavaScript, and even explore new JS plugins. A big focus of this project was user experience—making sure the design was intuitive, engaging, and enjoyable for anyone who interacted with it. The highlight of the experience was building our own AI generator using the SheCodes AI API. What made it special was the creative freedom to design and define what we wanted our AI to generate. For me, the choice was easy—combining my love for the universe and poetry. I created a Cosmic AI Generator that writes 4-line poems about the cosmos, inspired by any word you provide. It’s a fun, celestial way to explore creativity through AI while keeping the user experience simple and seamless. A huge thanks to SheCodes for this incredible project and to Matt for the clear, step-by-step lessons that made it all possible.

I appreciated working on a real-life project, as it allowed me to put what I learned into practice and build something tangible. It was an incredibly fulfilling experience. I’ve gained more confidence and am excited to keep learning.

I had a great experience with the Python Advanced course at SheCodes. This course not only taught me in-depth knowledge of Python but also enhanced my programming skills to a new level. Completing the final project and submitting it for review was an excellent opportunity for me to apply what I had learned in practice. With the clear guidance and effective support from the SheCodes team, I was able to confidently finish my final project. Now that I’ve received my certificate, I am extremely satisfied with this incredible learning experience.

The course is getting faster than the last modules, but I so enjoyed working on this project! The result is a real, usable portfolio for your work and projects and it's amazing to be able to build such a website, early on in a developer's career. Thanks for the great videos and explanations!

Building this Dictionary React App was a great learning experience for me. It helped me understand how to use React and create user-friendly applications. I learned important skills like connecting to APIs and looping through components. This project is an important step in my journey to becoming a web developer and I really enjoyed!

This advanced Python bootcamp is both well-structured and highly informative. I particularly appreciated the hands-on project, which offered a structured approach to learning and directly applicable skills in data manipulation and visualization.

This React dictionary app has been a fantastic learning journey. It helped me explore React's component-driven architecture, teaching me how to decompose complex features into simple, reusable components. Working with state management, API integration, and dynamic rendering has greatly enhanced my React knowledge. The way the components are organized in this project served as a great model, enabling me to better understand how to structure and develop more complex applications in the future. It strikes the ideal balance between hands-on practice and advanced concepts, solidifying my React skills along the way.

The SheCodes Plus Workshop was an incredible experience! Over the course of 8 weeks, I not only learned new skills but also gained confidence in using tools like GitHub, APIs, and deploying projects. While it was initially challenging, especially as a beginner, the workshop pushed me to think creatively and step outside of my comfort zone. It was a beautiful journey, and I truly loved every moment of it.

Easy to follow along - Matt is great at explaining things! Final project put into use everything I learned and was very satisfying to complete.

I'm still a working progress when it comes to building this project

I really enjoy projects that give me creative freedom. That's where I can take my coding to the next level and improve my skills beyond what I learned in class. Working on something I really enjoy really helps to improve my self-esteem and build my confidence in my coding.

It was really interesting to learn about AI in this way. After this workshop, I feel that I have a much better understanding of how AI works. Once again, the project was challenging but each lesson was very clear on the process.

This workshop continued to develop my knowledge of what is possible with coding skills. I continued to develop experience with AI with an exciting project which can be found on GitHub and Netlify.

I found this project a bit challenging but with the demo that SheCodes provided,made it a lot easier to finish this project.

All the SheCodes courses I did so far were really enjoyable experiences! The course structure was clear, engaging, and well-paced, making complex concepts easy to understand with the interactive exercises that allow you to apply what you just learned in real-time. I feel much more confident in my coding abilities now and can’t wait to apply what I’ve learned in real-world projects. Highly recommend!

Interesting project!

Basics add-on was a very well-needed review to all the codings I've learned so far. Now that I look at my project it's hard to believe I've made it and that's because of how easy to follow are Matt's instructions.
