Really interesting start to using AI that finished with creating a project using all the knowledge from the plus workshop which was great practise and I finally felt like I really got the hang of javascript! Looking forward to learning more!!

Shecode provides a great opportunity for women, especially in developing countries. I fully appreciate the opportunity given to me by Shecodes Foundation to embark on a project in this field and learn a great deal about programming languages.

SheCodes Plus Add-on was another great step in my coding journey. I really enjoyed creating the world clock. It was a fun project and, in my case, very useful since I have a very international family. It helped me practice working with time zones and made me realize how practical coding skills can be in everyday life. I’m looking forward to what’s next!

I really enjoyed the React Add-On workshop. I learnt to build a fully functional dictionary, showing meanings, examples, synonyms and images related to the word. The project involved using APIs and react loops, also splitting application into different components to ensure they are clear, and easy to understand/manoeuvre. It's really amazing to have made it this far in my coding journey, starting from understanding html basics to vanilla javascript, python and react- I thank Matt for his great and detailed tutorship as well as the SheCodes support team for their prompt support/guidance whenever needed.

This has to be my favourite project so far. I honestly love design and playing with colours, so it was a fun project to do. Had a small bump there and there but consistency and rewatching the videos helped me understand a whole lot better and now I can proudly say I "cracked the code" 😂😉. Onto the next!

My experience in this workshop is one that i would love to share with the entire world, reason been that i had been unwell when i started this workshop and i thought that i could manage and do it due to my passion but unfortunately i couldn't, so i had to take an extension twice and this made me sad and still due to my health condition i still couldn't meet up and when i asked my sister to bring my laptop over to me so i could request for another extension then i noticed that i was out of extensions as i had used up all my extensions, this made me so sad throughout the day, so when i got a bit better i chatted up the SheCodes team and told them about my current health condition and to be honest i wasn't expecting such a caring response the team gave me as i thought they wouldn't care much, but that response made my day and also got me so happy, the response i got was "Oh we so sorry to hear that, don't worry, get better soon and rest well, the workshop is self paced and don't worry you won't be penalized in any way and we have increased your extension, don't forget if you have any problem we are here to help" this response i will never forget it as it shows that apart from gaining valuable knowledge from all the workshops we are also cared for, with that in mind i gave my project all i got and i practice so well as this workshop is the most favorite for me so far and i enjoyed playing around with different theme, grid and backgrounds. I might not have said this before but i will make the entire SheCodes community proud someday insha Allah and that day i will tell the world about my journey from a beginner to a developer😍up up SheCodes.

The "Plus" program is challenging, but very educational! The lessons provide more advanced concepts than the Basic level and completing the final project is very rewarding!

Working on the SheCodes World Clock project was such a rewarding and fun experience! It allowed me to apply new skills in JavaScript and Moment.js to create something both practical and interactive. I loved the challenge of integrating different timezones and the ability to personalize each city's clock, while also learning about how to handle timezone offsets and dynamically updating the UI. It was a great hands-on way to deepen my understanding of working with dates, times, and APIs. Plus, seeing the world clock come together in real-time as I selected different cities made the whole project feel incredibly rewarding. This project was an awesome blend of learning, problem-solving, and creativity!

SheCodes has been an incredible experience! The workshop was clear, practical, and empowering — especially as a woman entering tech. I now feel more confident with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I’m excited to continue building real-world projects. Thank you for this amazing opportunity!

Fun and interesting project that cements what was covered in the longer react course.

The Responsive module proved to be both educational and inspiring. Crafting a portfolio project allowed me to explore creative self-expression through code, presenting a rewarding personal challenge that felt both novel and exhilarating.

This React Project has been a refresher course for me. I am delighted that I could follow the lessons without much difficulty and complete the project.
