SheCodes has made me realise that there is more to coding than 'Hello World!', that you can actually enjoy coding and working on proects, and that I am not just terrible at coding. As someone who had ZERO experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I'm just amazed by the amount of content we covered in just 3 weeks. SheCodes is very easy to follow, and the projects are really fun! I really enjoyed coding my final project, I challenged myself and following Matt's workshops created something I never thought I would be able to do after three weeks. I would highly recommend!
After accomplishing the first workshop, I was so eager to move forward. I got a little scared and struggled along the way, but it was worth it at the end. Looking at my final project I thought, I am capable of doing something that I thought was impossible. I'm looking forward for more.
The workshop helped me to evaluate and organize my programming knowledge. I've been working with html, css and JS for a while now, but they were rather primary than intermediate projects. Was it worth spending time and money? Of course, what a stupid question! π Matt really do know how to teach step by step and nothing remains unexplained. Also the rest of the team is really helpful and kind. For sure I'll continue my training!

I found that SheCodes was the perfect way to learn to code and has given me some great skills to add to my resume. I am determined to continue to learn more coding languages and start a new career. Through this course I was eager to complete the projects and challenges and really experienced the high of when you put together a function, API call or click button and seeing that it works! I have proudly shown off my projects to my friends and family and have found that coding gives me a great sense of achievement. I've been in IT for over 22 years now, on the technical support side. I then moved into software development release cycle and project management. It always interested me, what goes into fixing bugs and how I could make software better or write myself. I found this course through a friends recommendation on the free course. I loved it! I then went on to do the workshop. As soon as my project for the workshop has been given the green light, I will sign up for the SheCodes Plus and the React course. It is such an easy course to follow, the interaction and deadlines really make all the difference. Thank you SheCodes!
SheCodes was an enjoyable experience. Had basic knowledge in some coding languages but didn't know where to apply them. Each project was fun and challenging and manageable while taking other online classes. I would highly recommend SheCodes workshop. :)

This workshop was totally worth it. I struggled with the final project and almost gave up but going back to the workshop videos, which were clear and thorough, helped a great deal. Loved the final project, really challenged my knowledge of HTML, CSS & JS we had learnt so far, and I'm proud of my little weather app :) Better still I've been able to apply my learnings to personal projects.

I enjoyed this coding course and the final project. I did find some of the modules a real struggle to understand but I got there in the end.
I enjoyed SheCodes Plus very much, it was challenging at times but worked out in the end. Now I have a project to showcase my work to future employers and I'm thrilled about it.
I really enjoyed taking my javascript knowledge further in this course. It also gave me the opportunity to research things myself within the structure of a project, which has really broadened my skills.
For sure a more challenging course which kept me up until late in the night working on my code and wondering why some of my functions were just not working π However thanks to JoΓ£o from SheCodes everything worked out in the end. It was a very interesting and enriching process. It's great that point where you realize that you understand all the code and can fix bugs yourself or include code that can improve the project. The lessons themselves are very complete and in case of doubts there is always an instructor ready to help.

SheCodes broke down a huge amount of new information into learnable and workable chunks. Homework helped apply the new concepts immediately. I loved having the videos because I would go back and watch them when working on my final project.
It was great to see my 1st coding project ever coming to life! SheCodes Plus has been an amazing adventure to me. Challenges were of course part of it, but I still can't believe I made it to a functioning weather app. There's much more to learn about coding, but I'm glad I could learn some useful skills during the last 8 weeks.

Great continuation of the SheCodes Basics workshop! I'm excited to use all my new skills in further projects and continue my coding journey by learning React.
The whole course of SheCodes Plus is a great starting point for all the coding beginners and maybe also for young specialists. I truly enjoyed it all the way, even though struggled at times. "For" loops, unit conversion, and 3h-forecast were my Everest π. Nevertheless, I've made it to the very top and now getting ready for the new adventures with React π±π₯³ As for the SheCodes further development, I would love to work on more of such training projects, maybe on some different topics, with further functionalities. To my mind, this would help a lot to collect a pretty portfolio of projects for the students, as well as would serve as a powerful exercise to sort of automate all the gained knowledge :)
Just finished my SheCodes+ final project! This course was a great resource to learn HTML, CSS and Javascript. It was challenging, but the encouraging videos and the shared doubts and solutions in Slack really helped me to come through the process. I'm very excited to take the next step: enroll SheCodes React!
Despite my struggles to understand some JS (hehe), I really enjoyed building the project. I'm glad that I enrolled in SheCodes and looking forward to continuing in SheCodes React. Thanks to all the team for the support :)

A great journey that I had in SheCodes! I finished my final project in React and I really loved it! I had zero knowledge in coding but thanks to SheCodes, now I have knowledge in coding. Coding is not easy indeed, although with the right classes, exercises and chat support will make it easy and SheCodes has those qualities. I highly recommend SheCodes because Coding is and will be the future in our world.
Though the workshop was at times frustrating, I did learn a lot. I'm proud of the work I accomplished. My project goals were a little lofty for vanilla js, but I somehow made it work. π€·πΎββοΈ The only reason I gave 4/5 stars (it would have been 4.9/5 had the option been there) is because a lot of the content in the course material is a little outdated, but not so much so that it can't be dealt with. Overall, great class! Iβm excited to enroll into SheCodes+ React and further my programming knowledge.
I would certainly recommend this course! It's very easy to follow the instructions in order to finish the challenges and projects at the end of the week! It can get a bit challenging at times but it's totally doable! I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!
The React course was definitely a lot more difficult than the other SheCodes workshops. Matt always does a great job of explaining everything as simply as possible, but I definitely still struggled a bit to conceptualize React. I had to do some more outside studying to help understand the context and how to best make React work in my project. I also felt like with this course, sometimes it was better to watch several videos at a time before making changes, instead of adding changes for each video, as sometimes something would "click" better after seeing the connections between several steps/concepts. All in all, SheCodes React was by far the most challenging, and frustrating at times, but not impossible with determination and with the Slack community support.
Another fantastic workshop led by a great teacher! The final project has given me great insight on Javascript, React and API's. SheCodes is not your typical coding/web development course - you have to come up with solutions and not just copy and paste code. When you are really stuck there is great level of support on Slack.
These last few months have been so difficult but somehow I was still able to get this project done and still figure out life during a pandemic. Truly can't wait to learn more and grow to be a front-end developer.
I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to start their adventure with coding, but also to those who just need some practice ;-) Great worskshops, fantastic platform! Homework projects aren't just copy&paste, you need to learn how to think outside the box when looking for a solution.

A well structured and organized workshop! It was challenging at first but you just have to keep going. The project was a fun way to practice what I learned. After completing the first project, I'm excited to learn more about what else I can do with code.

After seven years working for big corporations in logistic I have started my biggest project which is my family. I have two wonderful little kids which are actually owners of all my time. I am looking for new challenges in new areas (not to become completely crazy ) and coding was one of the things which I have always wanted to learn. Shecodes provides a program which is perfect for busy woman like all mothers are. I am super happy that i have decided to invest into that workshop. I am going to continue in studying because I find this area perfect for my future career.
SheCodes Plus program really helped me to gain a deeper insight on several topics such as JS(ES6), HTML, CSS, API, Bootstrap and GitHub, of web development. Very challenging 8 weeks which lead to a fully function weather app project. Thankyou team.
SheCodes is changing my life in ways I didn't expected! The course was amazing for beginners: an intuitive setup with great, short and easy understandable videos to learn all essential basics of coding combined with hands-on tasks and projects and a very logical and useful program structure. I loved that I could do everything at my own pace and was still motivated with the fixed deadlines and could get support whenever needed.
So far this was the best programming experience related to front-end development. Matt is an amazing teacher, the videos are well made and very well explained. The support that we receive on slack is good and I was happy that I also could help another students with doubts. I'm excited to finish this workshop, to add this project to my portofolio for future references and also excited to join the last workshop: React. Thank you all for your efforts in teaching us the joys of frontal-end development. :)
This was a fun intro class. It covers a lot of basics. The final project made me feel like I had made drastic progress because of the speed and ease at which I completed it. I am looking forward to the next workshop.

This last workshop was on a completely different level than the first one, but still exciting as always! Even though it was quite challenging sometimes, I learned a lot and the feeling of accomplishment I felt once I finished my project made everything a great experience overall!
I've learned so much and it was great fun! The workshop platform allows you to take the class whenever you want to, at your own rhythm. I am very happy to have completed the SheCodes final workshop project!
The project was difficult but I learned a lot. Every time I repeated "try and error" and gradually I did noticed that my knowledge is growing! I still have many things to add or recreate but so far I am satisfied with what I accomplished and the lessons with SheCodes!
The course was quick, fun, and paced well so it was easy to follow along with each video. I loved learning each new skill and didn't notice how much I was able to do until my final project. Great experience!

SheCodes is amazing!!! It is enjoyable, easily informative and it is a coding education platform that ACTUALLY makes you WANT to do the work and put in the effort to code. I am very happy with all of my projects so far and whenever I have asked for assistance (ahem...wrong homework submission π€¦πΎββοΈπ), it was given without hesitation. Matt is very patient and calm in his tone in the lesson videos. You also don't get the feeling that he's rushing you, which is useful when you're learning something like this and which I especially found helpful. The content is concise and easy to retain in my head and once you get the hang of it (which is easy to do with this course), it really lets your creativity go and you discover a whole new art form. Coding. The artistic flair of computing language. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to any woman who is taking up coding as a career path or even as a constructive and creative hobby. It is well worth it. π©πΎβπ»ππΎππΎββοΈ
I love that SheCodes is fully online, so students can listen to the courses at any time! The lessons are organized and easy to follow. The projects after most lessons help reinforce the topics/ideas. Can't wait to continue learning how to code with SheCodes!
In a nutshell I'm sad this course is over! I would have never thought I would say those words about coding. Thanks to Matt, this course was beginner friendly, smooth and super fun to follow. The assigned homework/projects allow you to practice the concepts while being free to have fun and be as creative as you like. Highly recommend :)
The three week workshop was really good to get the starting blocks for understanding how to put a website together, I'd like to have had a little more guidance on where to go with it next (other than plus!), but have really enjoyed working on my project :)
SheCodes flipped my preconceptions of coding on their head! As someone completely new to coding, the workshop taught me to appreciate the fun, creative, and technical aspects of coding all at once. I particularly enjoyed the ability to progress through the course at my own pace and the opportunities for creative autonomy in the final project. I would definitely recommend the SheCodes Workshop for the foundational knowledge it builds, and I'm looking forward to learning more!

This was a very accessible coding course! The workshops were a managable work load divided into small steps, which made completing it easier. I felt much more confident with my coding. I think the weekly homeworks keep you on top of things and it's nice to have a project at the end! I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants an introduction to coding!
The beginner course SheCodes is great for those they have no clue what is programming about. It was good they have homeworks, deadlines, a final project. Big support on Slack. Their videos are very helpful and easy to understand. I am happy for stepping into this new world online.
I found the course well-structured and the Homeworks very challenging. Matt is an excellent teacher: it's not easy to explain Java Script with a clear, simple, and fun approach. I think it really worth taking on new challenges and learn something interesting. Honestly, I'm surprised of having been able to build a little project in just a few weeks!
I've found this workshop to be a great introduction to coding. I've had no experience in this area before and found it easy to follow; the exercises helped to reinforce new skills also. I really enjoyed working away on my webpage project and look forward to the next workshop.

I am the kind of person who generally has no computer skills whatsoever and struggle to even convert a file to a pdf, so the thought of learning to code seemed daunting. However this course has honestly been so enlightening. The weekly projects keep me coming back and the videos you can go back to at any time are so useful. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone wanting a taster into coding. It has made me reconsider what I want to do next in life!
A good intro to coding. The lessons are easy to follow and Matt talks through everything clearly and gives examples. I like being able to actually deliver a final project from scratch and put into use what I learnt, it gives a real sense of achievement.

I fell in love with coding in the introductory course, now in the Plus, I was able to develop much more skills and create a weather app in the end! It was awesome to build something from scratch! Because we build little by little every week it is much more stimulating than most online courses that just give you classes and at the end you need to do a big project from zero. SheCodes approach is much better and more exciting for learning! Looking forward to React!
This was a really easy to follow and well-structured course. Being able to access the solutions and examples throughout the course, as well as having on-demand walkthroughs, was incredibly helpful when developing the final project. I'm looking forward to learning more with future SheCodes courses.
SheCodes Plus was a beautiful challenge. There were ups and down in trying to understand Javacript but the videos, the Slack channel and the challenges really help develop the skill the right way. The final project it is a great way to really put everything together and test your mindset and skills. I couldn't recommend it more.

Completing the SheCodes classes have really helped me communicate my UI designs to our dev team. It was super fun to be able to actually see a project through 100% on my own from designing it to coding. Because the class only required a few hours a week, I was able to complete the classes while working a full-time job. I was having so much fun, I ended up putting more time than required anyways! π

I currently work as a language teacher. Due to the challenging situation of the past year, distance learning techniques and technologies included, I grew interested in the topic of coding. I am also an athlete, and my final project represents a way in which I could put coding skills in play to promote the sport I practice. I am generally a curious person and I like challenges, therefore, I took the opportunity SheCodes gave me. I am very impressed by the results, and I am considering coding as the key for a second career path.

This has been an incredible journey. I joined this course with a basic understanding of coding and within 6 weeks I am able to showcase a functioning weather application. With the help of SheCodes, I was able to gain hands-on-experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GitHub, Netlify, and a host of other coding resources that made this project possible. Though this course was nothing short of challenging, I find that at the end of it all these skills will be invaluable in my career development and next level choices. What an excellent accomplishment to begin 2021.

I love SheCodes! I decided to take the SheCodes workshops during Quarantine, and it has been a great way to grow my knowledge of coding and have something productive to do with all of my extra free time indoors. I would HIGHLY recommend these workshops to anyone who has wanted to learn more about coding, the videos are easy to follow, and the homework and projects are easy to complete. No deadline will make you feel overwhelmed, and the Slack communities they have created are all welcoming. All of the women in the slack communities want you to succeed. It's a great place to see women empowering other women! And coming out of the other side of the Plus workshop with an app you built by yourself is one of the BEST feelings! 10/10, 10000000 βοΈ.

Googling certain things outside of the lesson felt necessary for a few of the assignments, but I think that's part of the learning process. Happy with how my final project came out. This is a great lesson for anyone wanting to jump in to coding.
