SheCodes Responsive was a proper thorough and clear explanation on how to create a website with HTML, CSS, advanced CSS, Bootstrap, and most importantly, responsiveness! I can now take what I've learned here to improve on my past projects by making them look their best on both desktop and mobile. β€οΈ Thank you SheCodes for this incredible journey in learning how to code. This is my last workshop (for now-at least until they release more courses!). From now on I have the confidence to work on my own projects and collab with others, and now that I have my portfolio website all set up, I have something to show to recruiters in the job-hunting process. I am determined to continue my coding journey as I seek my entry into a full-time front-end developer position in the (near) future! Thank you!
The SheCodes Responsive coding workshop has been a blast to work through! I truly feel like I am gaining valuable skills that directly translate to industry standards and expectations. I really enjoyed learning through SheCodes. I love the way the classes are laid out. It was nice to have short videos, fun projects to do, and after you submit your projects, the solutions are provided. It really helped me learn a lot and I'm really excited to move on to the advanced classes!
As a project manager who works with developers on a daily basis, I signed up to this course hoping to learn some basics of coding to expand my knowledge. I was not disappointed. I was very impressed with the quality and detail of the course, but also the way it was delivered was very clear. It ensured the student wasn't just watching a YouTube video, but actually put into practice the lessons learned. The timing of the work was perfect for me, five hours per week is doable for someone with a full time job (or someone who is a new mother). It allowed me to focus on lessons, complete my assignments and absorb the learning properly.
This is my third workshop with SheCodes, and I'll definitely be coming back to learn React! There's just enough information in these courses to teach you the foundational knowledge you need to become a developer without holding your hand every step of the way. This was definitely a challenging final project, but there's nothing more satisfying than learning from your mistakes!
Creating this portfolio has been really fun. Being able to showcase the work I have done while on this workshop has shown me how far i have come. I can't wait for the upcoming projects.
The workshop is very nicely paced and Matt explains everything very well. The challenges posted are quite helpful since we get to do something on our own to build us some practical experience. I really had fun doing the final project.
I learned a lot from the course. There was a lot of information and this time you could work on your project as you go which helped with the stress at the end. We learned things that went beyond the project and there was much more flexibility with the end result

Leaning to code with SheCodes was just the best experience, I'm so pleased I started my coding journey here. The perfect blend of challenging and fun. It was amazing how much I learnt in the Basics workshop and I have really surprised myself. Submitting weekly projects was a great way to see your progress and I found it easy to make time for study alongside my full-time job.
SheCodes has been fantastic! The videos explain each part just enough to understand what to do, but doesn't give away every detail so you have to figure out somethings on your own. Matt is a great teacher! The timeline for each week is perfectly spaced out. I was able to spend just over 5 hours each week on my assignments. I ended up spending a lot longer on my final project by choice! I'm so happy to have found this class and I can't wait to sign up for the next workshop!

Thanks to SheCodes, I learned how to make a website responsive for all devices. This course make the whole process of building responsive website seem so intuitive and simple. I loved all the tutorials of this course just like the previous SheCodes courses. I feel more confident as I learned this important skill with SheCodes and I built a very nice portfolio so easily as my final project. so I put all my projects in my portfolio to showcase them all at once.
SheCodes Basics has been such an enjoyable experience. I started with very little knowledge of coding and learned so much along the way. Matt is an excellent instructor and his team are readily available should you have any questions. I can't remember a uni assignment I enjoyed as much as our final project. If you're on the fence, just do it!
I found this course very helpful as a beginner to coding. The workshops were easy to understand and I loved that they included Matt troubleshooting as he went when things didn't work. I am feeling very confident about my new skills and can't wait to implement them in future projects.
I highly recommend this course, it was easy to follow and I did not encounter any difficulties. The content is easy to learn and in little time I was able to build pages which work well in any screen size (this is the meaning of responsive). The idea of building a page showcasing all your previous projects is great and SheCodes gives you many materials and ideas so you are not alone in this. I am proud of the page I built and hope it will help to promote my work.

This course is so much fun! I, unfortunately, took long breaks in between but I would recommend doing the assignments/projects as close to each other as possible and avoiding extensions. However, life happens, and just make sure to take good notes so when you go back to it you are not completely lost.
Building the weather app was a challenge, when I first started the course I wasn't sure if I'd be able to complete the app but with Matt's guidance and clear instructions i'm proud to say I completed it! The past few weeks have been challenging, so finally being able to hand in project was so satisfying. Really excited for the next module. ππΎπ©πΎβπ»
It was really fun completing this workshop! I learned a lot and feel like I can now start building my own projects and practice all that I learned. The API integration part is my favorite as well as the styling part when it comes to building the apps. This workshop opened a whole new world to me in that regard. I am super happy with SheCodes!
The SheCodes Plus workshop has taught me so much about coding in a short amount of time. The structure of the workshop made learning easy, interesting and enjoyable! I had a lot of fun coding a weather app from scratch using easily digestible, step-by-step videos. I can't wait to start my next project in SheCodes React.
The lessons on SheCodes are really practical, such as the final project I learned to design a sales page. In addition, during the learning process, I learned how to design, edit and decorate in detail step by step until completing a specific website.

I fell in love with learning to code back in the Basics course and took the plunge to further my knowledge. While I found it more of a challenge this round, I'm super proud of myself to continue my journey and learn more in-depth ways to program using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I loved taking this course and learning from Matt as well as with the help from the SheCodes team. I felt very accomplished with what I was able to create, and I'm eager to learn even more in the upcoming workshops. Very challenging, but also very rewarding at the end. You get to make 2 projects in this workshop and delve into the world of React. I highly recommend it. The lessons are great, plus you can always get help on Slack if something is not clear enough.

After these last 3 weeks of taking the SheCodes workshops and completing my first Project, I am grateful and extremely excited to take the Advanced courses in order to help me reach my life goals for myself and my family!
The course was fun and designed for absolute beginners like me. Toward the end of the course, I felt that I want to learn to code even deeper. There are great resources to keep you on track and motivated, especially Slack was great to me. I was inspired by many students' final projects. Definitely recommend it to my friends.
I am currently within the HR career path. However, I have always been curious about coding. I heard about SheCodes last year, and I decided 2022 was going to be my year to EMBARK on this coding journey. The main aspect I was interested in with coding was web design. π©π½βπ»I enjoyed learning HTML, CSS, and JS. I did not expect to learn as much as I did in this coding basics class. All the lessons are ordered in a way for easy learning and comprehension. Matt is an amazing teacher. With each homework assignment and project, you get to test your knowledge! I was hesitant to learn this on my own- however with the support of the SheCodes squad/other learners, I felt empowered that if I didn't understand- I could reach out on the real-time Slack chat. My final project reflects my love for baking! I tried to make it simple yet modern. There are still some concepts I would love to learn in order to implement for further development of my web design skills! I'm not sure what the future is for my coding journey as of now. I absolutely loved this workshop. I learned so much during this process and I absolutely loved the final project that we got to do. Building the Weather App was such a fun experience and it really taught me a lot about my abilities and was a great learning experience at filling in the gaps. I really appreciated all the feed back that I got from the instructors and Matt gave great information in the lecture videos.
I'm incredibly proud of how much I learned and improved my coding in the past 8 weeks. An enjoyable short course with many tips for making websites responsive to different devices as well as SEO friendly. Having the opportunity of working from a figma design for the final project was very fun and useful too.

SheCodesPlus opens a new world for bigenners. In this workshop you can learn more advance css and javascript, how you can use Apis to get useful data and you learn about git and hosting. Final Project shows how you can build an useful app with the workshops content. Matt explains everything very good but It is very important to practice what matt teaches. With this workshop you can completely build practical websites.

I came into this workshop not knowing anything about coding and I will admit I was super nervous that I wouldn't understand enough for the final project. Even after finishing the first two homework assignments I was worried I wouldn't finish my project in time. If this happens to you please keep going! Once I started working on the final project I realized that I retained way more information than I thought and I cant wait to start the next workshop!
Again this workshop was amazing, super fun and with really usefull tools that can be applied to everyday projects. I cann't wait to start the last workshop

SheCodes is a great program! It has helped me understand computer languages and science. I run my own website so it has been helping me understand how to manage the backend of my development as well as communicate with my team developer when working on new projects:)
I liked the fact that the course had structure and deadlines. Really helpful in making sure I kept up with the course. The support team was brilliant and amazing at what they do. I did find bits of it slow or tedious - but I actually enjoyed the final project. I will be continuing on to the next course. would recommend for complete beginners. the way Matt talks you through step by step really helps you focus. 3 months ago I didn't even know how to write a single line of HTML and now I've created 4 projects with SheCodes! I just turned 42- you are never to old to start something new. Matt and the SheCodes team are absolutely amazing. This is unlike any other bootcamp or workshop you may have tried before. The video's are structured in a way that anyone can learn. The community of teaching assistants Slack and other students are always there to help with any questions. The timing of the workshops can be done around any schedule - work, school kids if you have 15 minutes you have time for SheCodes. Thank you to Matt and the entire team for helping pursue new career opportunities.

There isn't a great way for me to put it into words so I'll say this. I have worked all types of jobs exploring what I am interested in and what keeps me coming back, SheCodes showed me what it is that lights me up. The pace of the lessons and projects, the amount of information I've learned and, one of the biggest things for me, the troubleshooting. We don't learn how to take the easy way out which has helped me have a better understanding of everything we have learned. It's so wild. I've looked for all kinds of different "classes" or whatever but this is the one. Y'all are the best π€
Living in an increasingly digitalised world, it's important to continuously improve your digital skills. This course gave me a really good insight into the coding world and enabled me to complete a coding project independently. Despite it being a basic coding course, it has given me more than just the possibility to create a website; it piqued my interest in IT, contributed towards my problem-solving skills and broadened my digital understanding.
WOW - who would've thought that coding could be so much fun! The tutorials are super easy to follow, and for me it was actually truly helpful constantly having to hand in little tasks and a final project. A fully hands-on workshop! Can't wait for SheCodes PLUS to start next week πΎ
Building something like the final project with API and data was challenging, but I learned a lot. Therefore, I will do this course again to review the main points. The classes and methods are fantastic. I highly recommend it.

I come from a health care background looking to transition to the digital and technological world. I saw many opportunities for bootcamps, self-paced studies, and other coding resources but what I loved about SheCodes is that it gave me structure. I am well capable of learning on my own, but because I am so new to the industry, I didn't know where to even start. SheCodes Basic was an amazing experience. The lectures are very straightforward and filled with all the information you will need to succeed in completing all the lesson challenges and final project. The video lectures never got too long and monotonous, Matt did a great job organizing and blocking certain topics and following it up with a hands on challenge. He also gave the solutions after each challenge with the opportunity to resubmit and correct your work if necessary. Help was always available through the Slack chat and a team member always responded within a timely manner. This course was a great introduction to solidifying my future plans. I will be continuing this journey and diving in deeper! Thank you Matt and Team for helping me understand this whole new world of computer language!
