Great overall workshop, lots to intake but really enjoyed being able to build these final projects!
I've been learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for about 3 months. I decided to study full-time and teach myself how to code because this is my dream career. I understand HTML, CSS, and a little bit of JavaScript. The problem that I was facing was how to connect all three. That's where SheCodes comes in. SheCodes has given me the confidence to continue my coding journey. After completing the beginners workshop I feel so much more confident and so happy that I was able to see my progress. This huge progress happened in literally two weeks. The first week was very intense because a lot of material was being covered but after the first week, I felt so confident and saw how much growth I had made in just one week. The satisfaction of seeing my three projects come to life was amazing. The final project was what really made me realize how much I truly enjoy coding and creating things.
I learned sooooo much about responsive web design, got way deeper about bootstrap, and had a lot of fun creating the portfolio project. I highly recommend the workshops!!!
I have really enjoyed refreshing my knowledge of HTML, CSS & Javascript. It's been great to have a small challenge and broaden my skillset. The course has been really fun and i had fun making the final project! Would recommend this course to anyone who is thinking about learning the basics of web development!
This project made me feel capable of creating and building things from scratch! I, honestly, enjoyed every second of it and now I feel ready to hit another project.
I think that SheCodes is an amazing starting point to get into coding. I would highly recommend it to any female who is looking to change jobs or wants to pick up a new hobby. I’ve learned so much in this course. Plus the projects are very fun and Matt does a great job of explaining things in layman‘s terms. Highly recommend.
Coding is not something I imagined I can do, I've always looked at it as something I will never understand, but here we are at the end of Plus course with an awesome project and a boatload of learnings.
I'm so happy that I have an awesome, responsive project to take away from this course. I've developed so much by using the skills I have learned in this course and I feel so much more confident in my own coding abilities.
Great course! A lot of useful information and thorough step by step lessons. Also, it was fun to work on the portfolio project, which I think is a must have.
This is my last SheCodes course after completing all the previous ones, and I must say it's been a ride! I can safely say I took away a lot from these workshops, and my passion for coding has definitely blossomed. I love the way the course is structured, and the projects that we have to fulfill, it helps one with 0 coding experience get a great head start. 👩💻👋
I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus, and I feel like I've learned a lot. I've done coding courses before but never really understood why I was doing certain tasks. With the weather app project, everything was clearly linked to the project, so it was much easier to understand. This method works really well for me :)
SheCodes Basics has helped me step into the wonderful world of coding! The teaching style (videos along with homework and final project) helped me grasp the concepts so quickly! I loved all the challenges, and especially the last project, and felt that I really needed them to make sure I actually tested out some things for myself. My favourite part was playing around with the look and structure of my page while doing other things in the background, because focusing on a specific thing for a long time is difficult for me. I also loved looking at other women's projects and will be going through and give away some likes later 😘I'm so hyped to make more webpages now!!!! 😃I thoroughly enjoyed the Basic workshop and I am so excited to continue on to the Plus workshop!
SheCodes Plus was a great course to take after SheCodes Basics where I got to use what I had previously learnt and develop a greater understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It was challenging at times but the videos and solutions from Matt along with all the support from the rest of the team via Slack meant I was able to complete my weekly homework and for the final project create something better than I could have hoped for.
The short lessons and Matt's teaching has kept me focused and engaged in the course. I liked that we needed to confront changes in the project and in the code, as we may face in 'real life'.
I was dreading the JavaScript workshop, and I still am. I could complete the course project but needed some extra support. Saying that I've learned a lot following the course, and I'm looking forward to the next challenges.
It's an excellent course, very didactic! Primarily if the person has no prior knowledge of the topics. Even with prior knowledge of HTML and CSS, the course is worth doing due to tips and "hacks" that can streamline coding. I am a designer and mainly enrolled to learn more about javascript to help me better plan my projects and improve my communication with devs. After finishing my final project, I was very proud of what I have learned so far. The the course differential, for me, are the exercises! Because it intercalates with videos, which has the ideal time length, making the learning experience more dynamic.
I am so proud I could design my own portfolio and learnt a lot about creating a simple website. I am already working on new projects for friends and family and will keep learning more.
I loved learning with shecodes.io! The course is structured in a way that walks you through the materials step by step, by watching detailed videos and practice everything through milestones mini-projects, and a final big project.
SheCodes, wow! A great investment into my journey to become a software developer.As I began the SheCodes basics workshop, it opened my mind to understanding the basics of front-end development. I feel confident within my journey and I am glad I started it here. Matt really knows his stuff and the way he simplifies the project, I really appreciate it. I really liked SheCodes Basics workshop. It was pretty easy for a person with zero experience in coding to work on these small and fun projects.

I really enjoyed this workshop! The deadlines were quite helpful to keep on coding without putting on too much pressure. It was also great to work on the final project: seeing how we can make our code work made me realize how much I've learned over the past few weeks.
It has been a real joy. I have always been anti-technology person but I thought I would like to give coding a chance. It was not easy to find a right course, prices are high and I couldn't really understand what instructors were on about. Then I joined SheCodes webinar and I knew I found the right place. It has not been easy and I had to spend a lot of time on the tasks since I never had anything to do with programming but thanks to a fantastic instructor and supportive team I managed to finish my Basic Project. Big thanks to SheCodes Team. You do a great work. Chapeu bas for creating Delac Foundation! I am looking forward to next courses! I hope the day will come when I feel confident enough with my coding skills to be able to use them in my professional future.
The course is engaging and the material is organized in a way which is easy to follow. The challenges are helpful to prepare us for the final project and I felt prepared to tackle the project with the lessons Matt provided. The schedule was important for me to make sure I was meeting deadlines (I am quite the procrastinator) and I am excited to start my next workshop with Matt!
This was my favourite course so far! I felt confident with my basic skills to apply them to my own project - I was surprised at how much info I retained which is just a testament to SheCodes teaching style.
Loved the pacing especially while managing a full-time job! I don't think there's a better way to learn code than having to write your own per homework/project. Good experience and great real-time support from a real-world professional team!
I really enjoyed working through the new challenges in this course. I know I still have a lot to learn and solidify in my knowledge, but I feel better prepared to create a new project on my own. Looking forward to learning more in the next chapter!
It's incredible to think of how much progress I've made in a few months. All Matt's tutorials are so hands-on. I love the way he explains everything, so clear and so practical. He doesn't waste our time with unnecessary details and go step by step, showing how he builds things. I'm more confident about becoming a front-end developer because now I get it. I understand how to find solutions and how to integrate responsiveness into every project.
This course is an excellent addition to the study program with a bunch of different useful techniques to develop responsive projects 👍

I really enjoyed this 3 week course. I felt I really learned a lot and in what felt like a short amount of time. I am happy with my final project and I feel I really do have the tools to help me for the future.
Responsive was a very good workshop where I learned excellent responsive tools. I think that workshop is necessary for who wants to became a front end developer. I enjoyed a lot to do the final project, you can be very creative and made the pages responsive, it's very nice! A highly recommend the workshop!

This workshop is great! Easy to follow with step by step instructions, making learning fun and challenging in a good way. I would really recommend it as I learned a lot in only a few weeks and it was a great addition to the other workshops I've done with Shecodes. Being able to create my own portfolio and making it responsive is really satisfying and the skills I learned will definitely be useful for future projects!
SheCodes has really helped me grasp the concept of coding and developing to make me a more effective project manager.
This was an amazing program, a big step up from the basics. It was the right amount of challenging, but with a great team to assist you every step of the way. The program was very well-structured with always working towards your finished project in some way.
Great workshop! Working alongside Matt is super helpful and gives a lot of clarity. The material is very clear, I highly recommend taking notes to explain everything thoroughly to yourself in your own words. You'll surely come back to them in your projects!
This is my third workshop with SheCodes, and is the most difficult one. I won't lie, it took me way longer to finish than I have planned originally. I love that the team has added an ability to work on the second project (dictionary) which I am planning to use a little later.
The React course has been the most challenging and therefore for me, the most enjoyable course on SheCodes so far! It took a while to get my head around components and I had to utalise the extention feature for the first time, but boy was it worth it! My favourite part so far was the Dictionary project - it made a change from weather APIs (explored in the Plus course) and was so call to style in line with a writer I admire - Roald Dahl.
Really, really enjoyed SheCodes React, it helped me think outside the box when solving problems and a new insight into a library and how to use it. The dictionary project was definitely my favorite and showed me the variety of things that can be produced with JavaScript. As always the lessons were really well taught and the slack team were there to help whenever I needed it. Thank you!
I highly recommend SheCodes Plus. Matt explains different issues in a very clear way. The course is well structured and project-oriented.
The SheCodes coding course is excellent and unique. I liked coding and always wanted to learn it. This is such a great course that I fell in love with coding. I can really say that this course is the best course I have ever taken in various fields. It is very regular, principled and most importantly project-oriented. Very nice introduction course to see if you want to continue learning coding on a more avanced level, the video classes are easy to follow and clear. The final project was also fun to do.
I've really enjoyed building the final project and the instructors are quick to reply when help is needed. I feel like I'm just dipping my toe in but am excited to continue my coding journey!

The course is very helpful and it won't scare beginners away! I'm glad that I signed up for this. It really intrigues me, making me want to explore more in this field. The deadline pushes me to finish the course in time and it only took me two weeks to finish all courses. The project is interesting and the guideline is clear. It's the very first website I designed and the sense of achievement gained through these two weeks make me feel that I can do this too!
I enjoyed this introductory course and the explanations for how HTML, CSS, and javascript work were easy to understand. I found it easier to write every step and look back in my notebook when I was stuck. The final project was also fun to create.
Most exciting and fulfilling course I ever had! I learned a lot and enjoyed it a lot. I think this is a course that every developer should take, especially because of the great teaching. Matt teaches everything step by step and makes it crystal clear so that I totally understood what was going on. Besides, by doing challenges and homework and projects, I gained valuable experiences in programming. So happy to take this course! And I look forward to what's next!
I enjoyed working with SheCodes very much. The programming videos were easy to understand and study from, it's a very good method when someone needs extra help or explaining time. The tools provided also expanded my view on coding. Although I wasn't sure a few times where exactly did I stand with my projects there was always somebody willing to help. Altough I sense I made some mistakes in my final project, I can say everything was worth it.
Really wonderful experience. I have taken coding classes before, but I loved how often we were challenged to try out new lessons. These challenges built on one another nicely and it was a pleasant surprise that homework consisted of brand new challenges using the skills we had already learned. Often in other classes these assignments build on one another and then your final project is what you have been working on, but this challenged you to start from scratch again and build something new.
I can't believe it comes to an end. I enjoyed the journey a lot, I learned a lot more. It was one of the best classes I have ever took because the structure, the homework, and the finals projects were really perfect to practice and were added to your portfolio. I think it can be the best start to code and go for a new career. Thanks to the SheCodes team and Matt Delac the best teacher ever.
SheCodes Plus has been very challenging yet rewarding. I like the approach of this course that allows you to experiment and chip away at the final project bit by bit. Communication is superb and helpful whenever you get stuck. It's also inspiring to see all the other women who are so talented and creative with their projects! Major kuddos.

I came into SheCodes with years of self-taught knowledge behind me but decided to take on the full course - using the first two as a refresher! I'm so glad that I did - I was able to practice self-taught skills all whilst getting a full refresher and I still learnt something new! These courses are easy to follow, engaging and the challenges and projects are really satisfying to work through and complete.
I had a lot of fun during SheCodes Plus, the classes were very clear and the support from the Slack community very helpful. I enjoyed having some freedom regarding the design of the final project which enables each student to be creative and do something that fits their personality. The final project is also something the students can showcase in their portfolio for those who want to become developers which is a great asset.
It was very fun to complete all the challenges. Specially the final project. Also, sometimes it was a little frustrating but it was totally worth it once it was all fixed. I really loved the workshop and I will definitely recommend others to give it a try!

Hello SheCoders (and future SheCoders!) I really enjoyed the Basic Workshop classes. In these last 3 weeks I've been breathing, eating and sweating codes! which is absolutely amazing. I love coding but I needed the proper classes, the live chat guidance from professionals and colleagues, the project and the deadlines! It was a great way to push myself to get the challenges and project done. My personal experience with this course was great and now Im more sure I want to continue learning more coding !! Very thankful of all the things I learned! Happy coding!
Building the weather app was so much fun! By the end of the project, I felt that I had a much better understanding of the JavaScript concepts that we covered earlier on.
It was a great experience, I wasn't expecting to learn this much in just few months. I'm very pleased with the teaching method used by Shecodes as you get to gain the knowledge and the skills by working on real projects.
I would HIGHLY recommend the SheCodes Basics workshop to others. The course is a great resource for beginners and those looking to dip their toes into the waters of coding. It gave me the confidence to continue learning even past the final project!

SheCodes Basics was such a great experience, I'm proud of what I can do in so little time. The lessons were fun, Matt is a great instructor and to have the possibility to do your own project at the end with what you've learned is so rewarding.
I would define this experience as: challenging and fun. There were many moments where I stayed late into the night working on my projects and I don't regret anything. I've moved to Spain after marriage and I was looking for a job here but it was not so easy for me. I was very frustrated but then I noticed that I had to develop a set of skills which is in high demand and that was coding. I was very afraid of trying coding because I took a class many years ago and I was not so good at it and it did not interest me much. But since becoming a developer sounds like a good option to me while I have lots of free time, so I decided to give it a try. After taking a free introduction class, I had a feeling that I could also do this like many other girls. I had zero knowledge about coding (although I learned it many years ago, I did not remember anything), each lesson helped me greatly to understand concepts and especially each challenge/project and interacting on Slack tremendously helped me. Deciding to take SheCodes is one of the best decisions I've made this year and I'm really looking forward to taking other levels, getting one step closer to become a developer! If others can do it, why not me? All you need is this mentality! If I can do it, you can also do it!!
I've spent around six months learning HTML, CSS and Javascript using various platforms such as CodeAcademy, LinkedIn Learning, Pluralsight and YouTube to name a few. After attending the SheCodes free coding class, the material I learned really stuck! After enrolling onto SheCodes pro I've really enjoyed the support from the SheCodes community and the learning style of effectively: (1) Shadowing Matt (2) Completing his challenge to test your learning (3) Doing homework to validate your learning even more (4) Completing a project that includes everything you've learned (5) Having your code reviewed at each stage Learning how to code this way goes beyond everything i've used before and I has made it challenging yet fun!
SheCodes Basic has easy to follow videos, with challenges after each of them. I had fun working on final project, so much so, that I had difficulty of stopping at 2.00 am, after finding the solution for the issue that was bugging me. :)
I really liked going through the course. Also I spend a nice time working on my final project. Can recommend!
I was skeptical with how quickly or proficiently I could learn HTML, CSS, and JS in just 3 short weeks....I am pleasantly happy to share that it is possible! I take each lesson day by day and personally decide where I need to spend more time learning. I love this flexibility. If you need more time, they are accommodating but still have high expectations for completion. The final project was so much fun and I enjoyed my time creating my own site about cavapoos! I highly recommend. I will be moving on to the next part of the course and I am excited to continue this journey.
An excellent course for total beginners! I had no previous coding experience and was concerned coding would be difficult. However, Matt breaks down the information into small steps and the challenges allow you to practice what you have just learned. I was able to immediately begin creating my own code! It was fun, interesting, and easy to understand. I really enjoyed creating my final project and I'm excited to begin SheCodes Plus!

I struggled when it came to learning programming languages before I found SheCodes. Matt makes learning so much fun and I'm always looking forward to my SheCodes challenges! I love being able to put what I've learned into a tangible project and watch myself grow through the lessons. I have always wanted to learn to code but didnt know where to start, I had previously watched youtube videos and read online resources but found that none of them started right at the beginning. I really enjoyed these courses and the satisfaction of learning something new and being able to see my skills develop through the projects

Finally I finished the whole SheCodes courses! It was a big pleasure to make all the projects. I enjoyed and learnt a lot. I definitely recommend this course (until React of course) I know that definitely I will continue with React. I hope one day I will become a React Developer. Absolutely loved SheCodes Plus. Definitely found this course more challenging and found myself hitting a mental block on more than a few occasions, but I'm embracing that this is part of the process and nothing a break away from your screen and a fresh mindset won't resolve. I really enjoy the structure of the lessons, challenges and project work and am looking forward to what SheCodes Pro will bring. Thanks again Matt and the SheCodes team :)
I have throughly enjoyed this workshop as it has allowed me to hugely improve my knowledge. It has also enabled me to feel cofindent enough to build my own projects and have them work well on any device. Having done the previous workshops(basic and plus), it's incredible to see the progress I have made and can't wait to start the next one!
I like the way this course built-up over the 3 weeks. The challenges are great for making sure you understand the lessons and the final project give plenty of scope to play around with that new knowledge. I have really enjoyed this.
If you are a beginner or just wanting to get back into coding this is what you need! The project was really fun to code! I'm looking forward to my next Workshop!
This is a really practical course that is great for beginners or those who are unfamiliar with these languages. There are short tutorials and then you get to try out new things immediately. The homework and projects are simple enough that they aren't overly laborious but complicated enough that you are actually using what you have been practicing. Pretty much hit the mark for how I learn best.
This course helped me learn the basics of coding and was pretty fun! I enjoyed making my own final project from scratch using everything I learned in the workshop.
I absolutely loved this class! I started out by attending the 1-hour free coding class from an Instagram ad, then ended up buying the basics class the following day and I have not looked back since! Matt does an amazing job explaining everything from the bottom up and does it where anyone can understand it. I was able to learn so much and have great resources that I had no problem with this final project. I had just a smidge of previous experience in coding from a semester in college (and those good ol' Myspace days!) and wanted to continue to learn more so that I can broaden my career opportunities in tech. If you're STILL hesitating to sign up, just DO IT, GIRL! Invest in yourself and your future, you will be thankful that you did.
After completing SheCodes Responsive, I feel confident that I will be able to make all of my future projects mobile-friendly. I'm excited to see what SheCodes React has in store!

Learning React has been really a challenge for me. I found JSX not very intuitive. Therefore, I consider completing the SheCodes' React class as a hard-earned skill. Matt's ability to present complex issues in a simple manner helped me definitely to stay on track and to finish the dictionary project which I am really proud of!
I experienced a lot of frustrating and challenging moments during this coding workshop but I also had so much fun! I felt really creative and happy that I could produce a really nice looking website as my final project.
