Great workshop, you need to do a lot of studying on your own obviously if you want to learn but the workshop gives you structure and keeps you motivated while working on a real-life project.
Finishing up my second course with SheCodes and loving it more and more! This course was challenging but seeing the starting point of my project to the end has been amazing. Looking forward to learning more and using the skills to grow.

React has been my absolute favorite workshop in SheCodes. It is challenging but so powerful. Once I started to understand, I found myself coding around the clock! I am excited to keep working on both my weather application and dictionary. These were also great starting projects. I feel excited to try and build some new applications on my own!
These weeks were a challenge- oh my! It certainly took me longer than 5 hours a week because I have to break everything down and slowly process it. Also, my work life balance was a bit challenging, so I'm grateful for the extensions. It was certainly worth all the effort with the challenges because the final project was so satisfying to create. Hear Hear to the fruit of my labor! 🥂Thank you Matt for unlocking the inner coder in me👩💻!
This was my favourite SheCodes project so far. I learned so much about media queries and bootstrap. It was also a great opportunity to learn how to create more advanced features on my own like animations.
I wanted to find out whether or not web development/coding is something I would be interested in and the SheCodes Basics Workshop was a very good tool to give me first impression of how things work. Great bite-sized lessons with a short practical task right after each, homework and a final project to keep you going. I'm certainly intrigued to dig deeper into the field. Great course! It was well explained and Matt's instructions were easy to follow. I enjoyed building the project and got immense satisfaction once completed. A very informative and practical workshop. It has it's challenges, but there is always help available on Slack, either from the SheCodes Team or from your fellow students. I think it's great that the final project gets you to create a fully functioning app, as this gives you a greater understanding of how the code actually works and how to apply it effectively. I would also highly recommend Matt Delac as a tutor. Matt has an easy to follow and clear style of delivery, which makes learning much more fun.
It's incredibly and unbelievable how its interesting and in the same time easy to make further actions, projects and homeworks after all Matt's lectures and instructions! I just want more and more of new knowledge and improvements of my skills! I so excited and thankful for this opportunity!

Applying to SheCodes Basics among so many other courses was an amazing decision. I have tried to learn coding before but I was struggling to apply what I learned in lessons to real life projects. I really enjoyed sharing something I love (my town, Mitla!) in my final project. I'm surprised I could make something so polished after three weeks! Well, it's self-paced so more like two weeks for me.
The material is more than just easy to learn, it's also fun! Everything is presented in an engaging and no-pressure atmosphere. You can't help but feel proud of yourself when you finish a project or figure out a tricky spot.
I greatly enjoyed learning about how a web page is actually built from the ground up. The workshop was interesting, challenging and fun! The best part for me was the making my project where I was able to put my creativity at the forefront :)
I started learning coding through a game that teaches programming languages, and I loved the puzzle-solving aspect, which inspired me to delve deeper into coding. SheCodes has been the perfect platform for that journey! I enjoyed exploring HTML, CSS, and JavaScript during the SheCodes Basics workshop, and I'm eager to continue learning in the next workshop. Coding allows me to be creative and feel challenged, which I find incredibly rewarding. SheCodes has been an ideal learning experience, and Matt is an amazing teacher! For my project, I chose to create a page advocating for expanded shore access in Massachusetts, driven by frustrations over recent changes to local beach parking policies.

This course was super challenging, but it was really exciting and lots of fun! I love that this course allows its students to complete coursework according to their own availability each week, while also having weekly assignments and projects that help keep you accountable and on-track. It offers a great level of flexibility, but also provides structure at the same time which I really appreciate as a working professional. I also really enjoy being a part of the SheCodes community. With each course, you have the ability to interact with other students who are learning the same things as you and instructors who are there to help and answer questions along the way.
This is really a great course! I made my first pet project from scratch - a weather app (this can be included in the resume). It is very important to practice on a real project. In this course we create the application step by step. Step by step Matt explains even the most complex things in a very clear way. I have always been interested in technology, organization, and creativity. I am looking for a career change and I have been becoming more interested in coding. It is a very scary concept and I had no idea how to even start learning. I came across SheCodes and jumped right into the courses. Matt is a GREAT teacher! He is so easy to follow and I was able to complete the final project almost completely by myself!
I've learned a lot through SheCodes Plus, the project was a lot of fun and challenging. Java Script is definitely something I need to work on, but the team and students helped me get over those bumps I had along the way of building my project! :)

SheCodes Basics is a really nice way to start learning and understanding how coding works. I really enjoyed all the challenges and building the final project. I'd recommend it to anyone as it gives a good base.
For me it was fun and the best way to start learning how to code. Matt is an incredible teacher, making every step simple and achievable and giving you the tools to resolve the exercises and build your projects on your own.

I liked that the videos were short and focused. You get right to the point where you can start building your own small website. Of course the 3 weeks course only teaches the basics, but I was impressed with what I was able to do for the final project and am looking forward to the next course.
This workshop was amazing. I love that our project was to build our own portfolios, which benefits us so much as new developers! I understand so much more about building responsive websites from this workshop and now feel very confident in my abilities.

JS topics were a bit difficult at first, but I never gave up and kept trying. Although not perfect because I must learn more more more. But now, I have my own project! And this is very amazing!

The SheCodes Plus course was easy to follow. The challenges complimented each lesson well and the final project was fun to put together.
I had a lot of fun on my third workshop with SheCodes. This workshop really allowed me to put into the practice the many skills I have been learning. It was a great opportunity to explore my own style and preferences while also having the support needed to complete the project. I've already started coding another website from scratch independently. The skills taught in the Responsive workshop along with the Basics and Plus have propelled my learning, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without SheCodes!
I truly liked this introduction to coding course! It was easy to follow (although the first week of classes was quite challenging: more than 20 classes!). The material is interesting and I like learning by doing, (in coding it is especially important). I also like the fact that for final projects we have much freedom so we can choose a topic we want to work on and the way it could be done.

I had a lot of fun rebuilding my weather app and coding a dictionary app. React can be frustrating at times but also super fun. I can't wait to take what I've learned here and build more projects!
I have tried to learn coding several times and I failed to complete courses every time, because the course structure was not motivating. I am more than happy that I could finish this course and learn so many new things and I was able to do a real life project which was simple yet challenging. I can not wait to start the next course. This has been so much fun, and I got so excited about the course that I got to creating my final project early )) The explanations are really easy to understand, there are no distracting tangents or technicalities that the students are unlikely to grasp, everything is simple and to the point. The Slack channels are also very helpful. And I'm loving the fact that we are allowed to get creative with our final project ❤️
I thoroughly enjoyed the course and believe that my understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is growing. Furthermore, I am familiar with GitHub and Netlify, both of which were absolutely exciting aspects of this project. I loved building the application, the tools that are given by the course, and most importantly, it piqued my interest. Now I'm eager to learn even more!
I had so much fun with this course. The SheCodes Plus workshop was really fun and challenging. We started working on the Final Project almost from the start of the workshop, which was an excellent way of improving our knowledge every week.
This became challenging for me the last few weeks, but I learned a lot and was able to pull through with the final project. I looked forward to every week and was able to do the Plus workshop while working part time.

This course has been amazing. It's been super helpful to learn the start of coding. It has also allowed me to tap back into my creative side and logical thinking side. It has been fun going through the lessons and working on the final project.
Before starting the course, I have some basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS, but couldn't use them to build a fully functioning project. My goal was to learn how to make elements interactive. This course helped me to reach this goal. After finishing the course, I'm much more confident about my ability to build a simple website. It is the second workshop from SheCodes I`ve finished. Since I have some personal deadlines, I was working hard and fast. And I can say that I am excited! I`ve learned a lot, and as it turns out I can do a lot now. This project was interesting to implement, sometimes challenging but always fascinating!
This workshop was challenging, but in the end it is really rewarding. I really did not think I would be able to build an efficient weather app. Thanks to how this course was broken down into parts made it less overwhelming to approach such a project.
After doing the SheCodes Basics workshop, I couldn't wait to continue on to SheCodes Plus...and it did not disappoint. It was challenging at times but Matthieu makes the solution videos very easy to understand what you're having trouble with. I love that everything is still available for me to look back to in case I need a refresher and the final project is such a great real-world project that showcases all the coding you've been learning while allowing you to get creative if you want to.
It is really amazing to be able to build a complex structure like a Weather App in just a few weeks. I cannot wait to apply all that knowledge on other projects!
SheCodes React has been challenging but also very fun. I have fully enjoyed learning from Basics to Pro. I highly recommend SheCodes as a starter workshop to get into coding. They make it easy to understand and fun with the cool projects!

The moment I started Week One/Lesson One of SheCodes Basics, I was hooked! The entire course was extremely informative and Matt does a fantastic job explaining concepts that I was otherwise having difficulty grasping. The challenges, homework and final project were a lot of fun and definitely solidified what I'd learned previously in the lesson videos!

SheCodes Basic was amazing! I always wanted to learn how to code, but I always assumed that it might be too difficult. However, Matt explains in a very easy and patient way. He never lost me, but at the same time I also never felt bored – I enjoyed the small challenges as well as the homeworks and I like how he makes us do our own research. I believe this is the best way to learn something! Time basically flew by while I was working on the assignments. So much fun! I am looking forward to learn more and I am definitely planning to make my final project responsive after the following workshops :-)

Few years ago I took courses on JavaScript but it didn't really click. It's when I started SheCodes workshops I was fascinated and eager to learn. I couldn't have imagined I would end up here, excited to learn and have fun coding. I had watched videos and tried coding courses but it did not work out well for me because it was poorly explained and extremely confusing. I have learned so much just from SheCodes basics workshop, that completing that final project felt like a huge accomplishment. The instructor Matt, has done an amazing job putting these lessons together.
I really love this bootcamp! It gives me both aspects of what I need to learn; I get the hands-on training with the projects and I get the procedural training with Matt's lessons. This bootcamp has made me fall in love more with coding because it's so challenging yet satisfying when I finally get something!
