The more I learn with SheCodes, the more I fall in love with coding. As usual, this was a super fun workshop. There's nothing like seeing the end result, a full working application that you made from scratch. I can't wait for the next workshops. One more time, super thankful to Matt and the SheCodes team.
The entire course is very well constructed, they put a lot of attention into detail and into providing you with so many resources that allow you to engage with the course and coding itself. I really enjoyed the lessons with Matt, he explains himself very well, putting things into an easy to digest manner. ItΒ΄s really noticeable he enjoys teaching. I also really liked having a challenge after every lesson to really put it into practice all that knowlege that you're gathering. The pride you feel once you see your product, specially the final project, is simply special. I had to take a break from the course and get back to few months after, and was surprised to see it was easier than expected to get back on track. Whenever I did not remember previous lessons, I had every lesson/resource easily available and the AI coding assistant, Athena, which proved very useful to refresh and correct/improve code.
This was challenging, yet the excellent instruction and support from Matt and the SheCodes team made it doable. I look forward to learning more Python!

Wow, the React Add-on workshop was a test of both patience and skill. Really fun, but also challenging because this time I chose to build the project after a totally different design. For me that haven't coded much before, this was quite difficult, but since Matt is a inspiring teacher it all turned out just fine in the end. π

The course is easy to follow and Matt, the instructor, is guiding you through every single step which makes it seem less overwhelming. You learn a lot in these 6 weeks but the completing the final project that showcases your new skills makes it all worth it.

This was such a great course and for me was well timed finding SheCodes as I am currently in recovery from an injury and I needed to do something to keep my mind active. I honestly never thought I could finish any coding course because they always seemed impossible to follow, but SheCodes Basics was surprisingly really easy to follow. Learning React was by far my most challenging learning curve. I am grateful I got to learn React through SheCodes because Matt Delac made it much easier to understand and I definitely think it would have taken me longer to learn without this React workshop. Learning React was a lot more difficult than expected. Matthew does explain that it is difficult but he moves too fast through out the React lessons anyways. I would like to add that I think the React lessons need a desperate update. The Node.js NMP download, has a lot of hurdles. I could not get VS code to work under NMP but Matthew uses Yarn. I decided after almost 3 weeks of failure, trying to use NMP in VS code to stop, restart and use Yarn and it finally worked. I did go to Slack for help but their solutions did not work for me, neither did Athena. Overall the React lessons were discouraging and I don't think I learned anything this time around.
The SheCodes Plus course, while challenging has been a whole learning experience. Thank you Matt and team, for your guidance and patience throughout the course. I can't believe that I built a whole weather app. Amazing stuff!!!!!
