I have really enjoyed learning sheCodes basic. Matt is a good teacher and it is helpful to be able to pause the video/replay etc so I have time to write down notes.
I am very proud of myself that I took this course of Coding without experience. Today I can build a responsive Website and host it to a live server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React with GitHub/Netlify.com. I've learn all this in the space of 6months with sleepless night with weekly assignment. Thank you Matthieu Delac for your help and always teaching us to take a break when we're stuck and SheCodes team for your assistance. React Application was very hard to work on but I kept going today done and dusted!
Dear SheCodes, I always wanted to learn more about coding, and when I was given the opportunity by you to learn it, I was thrilled. I was concerned that I wasn't able to learn how to code and that it could not be fun, but after starting this course, I changed my mind. I am so happy I finished this project. At times it was extremely hard, confusing, and frustrating but the community on slack was so helpful! I feel that some of the concepts were too advanced for those coming out of SheCodes Basics, even with Matt's explanation, and some of the information is outdated. I would love to see the video tutorials updated to where Matt uses the SheCodes API! Other than those tiny qualms, this workshop was great!
The weeks I spent learning with SheCodes are unforgettable. Coding has always been something I feared because of how people make it out to be something very difficult to understand. A brilliant course! There was so much content and so much to learn. I loved learning all about animation. The challenges challenged me again, and Matt was so right when he said coding can be frustrating but really fun. It was fun learning how to make websites responsive and look great on different devices! I truly enjoyed building a website from scratch alongside Matt, while learning skills that will help me in the future building websites and making them user-friendly. I am a total newbie to coding, and I found the Shecodes basics workshops to be quite challenging. Despite that, I think Matt has done a fantastic job at being really concise and thorough in explaining and demonstrating all the new concepts. I usually find pre-recorded courses to be a little bit hard to get through as they're usually so disconnected, but being able to go back to tutorials and also have support from the Slack channels has really set this one apart from the rest!
Really enjoyed this basics course! Found it so helpful to be able to postpone the deadlines in order to balance the workload with my current job. Will definitely be doing the next course! Thanks Matt and the SheCodes team!

Coding with Matt was an incredible experience. Although some parts, particularly in JavaScript, were challenging, Matt's explanation made it easy for me to understand the logic and implement it correctly. I found coding so exciting that I often lost track of time while working on my final project. I went above and beyond by adding extra features, such as night mode, correcting the timezone, and using custom icons instead of relying on the API. The end result was something I'm satisfied with.
It was a lot of excitement when I got a concept right and a lot of frustrated grunts when I couldn't figure out how to make a button work but It was all worth it. I had fun learning coding basics and Matt did a fantastic job guiding us in this journey. I highly would recommend this workshop to others as well.

Creating a multiple-page website is no doubt, time-consuming and considerably needs attention, yet Matt took all the steps so nicely that we never took them as a burden. The portfolio project is a MUST project to showcase our skill set. And SheCodes made us do this in a pretty way.

I haven't had any coding since I finished the first basic course, yet I could come back to where I was supposed to for coding HTML, CSS, and JS! The revision part is always easy to miss so I loved that Matt always reminds us of the part we went through.

This is hands-down the best online workshop i have had. My instructor- Matt Delac literally broke code down to the simplest form. Every lesson took us on a journey, one step at a time, explaining in detail so that you actually understand every topic before moving on. I enjoyed the challenges after each lesson, it helped to gauge my understanding and prepare for the next steps. It was very interesting and i am glad to have participated.

I enjoyed how well-balanced the course is when it comes to learning the skill of coding while putting in the work. You would expect that just because you're learning on your own that the course would be easy, but I was wrong.
