Observing how the development process is taking place is really useful. I mean we see in Matt's videos how he decides to choose one or another technique, tries something, something works - other things do not. And it is nice for newbies to see the process as it is.

It was a quite challenging, fun and an interesting ride. Especially the building of the Weather App. From no prior coding skill to being able to build a Functioning Weather APP. Thank you so much Shecodes team and most especially Matt for this great Opportunity. I am so excited with what Shecodes is doing that I had to send invite to all the females in my contact to be part of this and I am glad that more than 12 of my female friends have been able to join Shecodes. Shecodes is a movement and I am grateful to be part of this. Shecodes should be in the Guiness book of record for the impact they are making.

I really liked the course. Everything is very accessible and interestingly told and shown. There is an opportunity to do small assignments every lesson, so that by the end of the week you can do your homework. I really liked the idea of the final project, where you can show your imagination, creativity, thinking. Very good course, thanks a lot to Matt for this.

SheCodes was the best thing happened in my life, it’s gives me the confidence to study and learn how to code, I just finished all the courses in four months, it was impossible without @Matthieu Delac the best teacher in the words, the way of explaining was so easy to understand and to follow. And also the @Delac Foundation for giving me this chance. Now I am so exciting to start working as front end developer .

I can tell you that my 8weeks learning SheCodes Plus was really worth it, I enjoyed every bit of the training. The instructional videos with detailed explanations, challenges and homework made my learning easier and less stressful. Indeed, My instructor, Matt Delac is doing a great job.

SheCodes workshop has been a great experience for me. I learned more about coding than I could have ever imagined, and Matt is one of the best teacher that I had seen. He manages to explain things in a way that is very easy to understand, as well as making it interactive so that you can learn while having fun.

Happy to share my work with the help of great teacher Matt. Few weeks ago, I did not know much about coding, I always found it intimidating. Now I managed to learn about HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript and to create a landing page.

I am so glad I started classes with SheCodes. I've wanted to switch careers for awhile now, but wasn't sure where to get started. My first SheCodes class was the motivation I needed. The class was easy to follow yet challenging at the same time. I enjoyed the bit-size lessons that fit into my schedule. I loved that Matt would sometimes throw in a challenge on a concept that he hadn't fully explained forcing me to problem-solve and evaluate the project as a whole. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone not sure where to start.

Matt is a great teacher. The SheCodes workshops are well detailed, making them easier to understand especially for us who had no experience in coding. I highly recommend SheCodes!!

The SheCodes Basics course was brilliant! I had no background whatsoever in coding, yet Matt's tutorials soon brought me up to scratch and I am now keen to learn more. Learning with Matt on SheCodes is fun, engaging, and not tiring at all. I like how each lesson is structured. I especially liked that I had to search for some information because I believe that it's extremely useful for my future job.

I really enjoyed the program, Matt was explaining everything clearly and encouraged you to do your own research before asking for help, which I think it's the best way to learn new things and also teaches you to be independent on the job. Overall it was a great experience and I will recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to get the first step in the coding world. I will probably enroll in SheCodes plus! 😊

Enjoyed the step by step instructional videos. Matt was very thorough in his teaching style and felt like I was able to grasp the projects. Also really appreciated the hands on work and if I ever had any questions the Slack channel was readily available. Would highly recommend.

Just like the Basics class, this was a great experience. It was definitely challenging and I had to rely on so many of the resources (slack, others projects, google, etc.) to really get and understand the information. Matt is a great teacher and easy to follow.

I surely opened something interesting in my life. I thought that I will never be that smart to learn the things we learned here. I took the basic course and really loved it - the videos and units were adequate in length and complexity so that I was excited and motivated at all times. It really helped that there were as many little tasks so the new knowledge had to be applied directly. Thank you, Matt!

This was a major experience for me, as I had the opportunity to explore the inside of web page creation. This course was not an easy take for me, but even more, valuable. I appreciate the active and friendly support while solving my coding issues and the way how it is all structured, customized, and well explained (by Matt), and just created an easy way to have more fun while learning👍. The begginer course is so informative and easy to understand. Matt Delac is a great teacher. I wish I attended this bootcamp during my earliest days of learning web development.

I was a complete amateur when I started the SheCodes workshops and I've learned so much since then. I thought learning React was going to be a bit more difficult than it was, but I got through it with ease and Matt explained everything well. When I did have issues, I had good support from the team through Slack. I'm bummed that this is my last workshop, but excited to see where this coding journey will bring me.

Who would've thought that it's possible to learn coding from the comfort of your own home? Thanks to SheCodes, I got to finally learn the basics of coding while working my full-time job ! The workshops are beginner-friendly, detail-oriented and easy to follow at your own pace. I really enjoyed Shecodes Basics and highly recommend it to everyone who want to get an idea what coding is about! It was fun to watch Matt's videos as they are easy to follow/understand. The challanges were a lot of fun too. But mostly I enjoyed doing my own project, because you can already play around with the skills you learnt. I will definitley enroll for the SheCodes Pro course as I now know that I absolutely wanna move on and become a professional front end developer!

I like this workshop so much! It is not boring as it often can be. It is cool that lessons are not long and you have practice after them. Matt teaches great, everything is clear even if you have level b1 of English! So I can really recommend the first workshop. Thank you!

I've really enjoyed my SheCodes basic course! I started doing it whilst on maternity leave with my 8 week old (probably not the best time to start learning something new - but I did it!). I realised that when I go back to work, I don't want to do what I was doing previously and want something which is more flexible. Matt made everything really easy to understand, and each video broke everything down well and the homework after each section was really helpful. I've really enjoyed the course so far, and look forward to continue with the next course when my little one is a bit older and we're in more of a routine. For the meantime, I will revisit the old videos and keep practicing to enhance my skills!

Learning React and practicing all these technics with SheCodes and Matt was an incredible journey. I couldn't even imagine 3 months ago that I would be able to create projects like this. Matt is an amazing teacher, he can arouse interest in programming from the very first lesson and give a chance to start a new life with new career opportunities in tech. Learning via SheCodes is awesome. You'll learn everything step by step and can work on it. Matt is great at explaining complicated topics. SheCodes' team is also available to assist you if you feel stuck. Therefore, they all contribute to making it an enjoyable experience.

Challenging but rewarding sessions. As a visual learner I really benefitted from the clear and concise instruction through Matt's videos. The exercises build and layer quite quickly and each new item is practiced in several ways. By the end of the course, a lot of the new skills become automatic. A really engaging course which I enjoyed thoroughly.

The content has been so easy to follow along and I love the fact that I can revisit any previous lessons at anytime! The courses are done at my pace and I am able to soak up all the content Matt puts out fully. I really enjoyed seeing my first project completed, it brought a great sense of accomplishment when I hit that 'submit' button.

My professional background has absolutely nothing to do with utilizing technical skills. The soft skills I've acquired over the years have allowed me to be successful and well-rounded in my current career. However, I have always been intrigued with how and why things work. Web design courses were offered to me in middle school and college, even though it was a love-hate relationship, I loved the experience of creating something instantly. My current position is detailed oriented and the correlation between that and the classes offered by SheCodes made sense for me to change career paths. Technology will always be around and I want to be apart of seeing the growth and development of it. SheCodes classes are simplified and easy to follow. Matt does a great job explaining how and why everything works. I wish I had invested into this sooner!

It's been a month since I started passing SheCodes, a well-structured easy to understand coding program, that keeps you learn more and more day by day, and it's interesting so far! I've learned so much that already can create a small website about anything! Furthermore, I can't wait to see what I'll create in a year with SheCodes. This basic course was a perfect introduction to the world of frontend development and coding in general, I enjoyed it thoroughly. This last module of SheCodes was challenging, to say the least, but extremely rewarding. It taught me that consistency and perseverance are key to accomplishing anything we put our minds to, even if the process might take longer than expected. My only regret is that there are no more SheCodes courses after this one and I will truly miss the lessons and the lovely team at SheCodes! I could not help myself but sign up for the SheCodes Plus course after having done and loved the Basics course. This was a really fun way of learning how to code, everyday it was something different and it was great to see the end result! I'm still curious to keep learning and progressing. Matt is such a great teacher, can't wait for the next courses!

I absolutely loved building on the learnings from the SheCodes Basic and to dive deeper into HTML5 , CSS and especially Javascript and API. Matt continues to impress me with his great teaching skills! 👨‍🏫 One thing I really like about all the SheCodes Workshops so far is that we get to design the projects all by ourselves. I don't have to build exactly the same as everyone else, in the end everyone has a completely unique project result. I believe this is very different to a lot of other courses and proves to me, that it was a great decision to choose SheCodes! I am excited to see what comes next and where this path will take me!

I love the way Matt strategically split the lessons into short sessions. It is very helpful when you have to refer back and it is pretty efficient this way. The tools provided by SheCodes were awesome also since I love designing! Keep up the great work SheCodes team! 🏅🤩

It has been so much fun learning the basics of web development and it really made me want to challenge myself by learning more of it! Matt can explain things in a very clear way, and having the challenges and homework really helped keeping me accountable for it.

The school in my opinion is one of the best for girls and women! Which has no worthy analogues. Very clear and concise, with no unnecessary information laid out. The video lessons are very interesting and understandable, even for those who have no idea what is CSS HTML and so on.. I have only positive emotions from the course I already recommend it to my friends! Thanks a lot to Matt and the Team!

During these three weeks, I learned that coding can be for those who want to learn it and that it is not as difficult as thought. Matt uses very simple language so everyone can understand what is being explained during the lessons. I've enjoyed everything that I learned and I think that I will be investing in my coding skills from now on!

This course pushed me in a way that was super satisfying. I've learned a lot!! I enjoyed it so much that I finished ahead of schedule and I love that I was able to do it at my own pace. I found it really interesting watching Matt code and I think it's great that he didn't edit out his little errors so we can see him correct them. I feel proud of my little weather site and am super excited to jump in to the next certificate!

Very happy but more sad that the workshops are over. I completed all of them with a long break halfway through. React was the best workshop as it was a lot about advancing in front-end frameworks, structuring code and building something very interesting from scratch. The projects were the parts I enjoyed most as for me it is more important to have something to show instead of "just" a certificate. I felt guided and supported throughout the workshops with a great balance between autonomy and dependence. I really liked that Matt is so authentic when the code didn't work, e.g. "my god this is the kind of stuff you could spend hours on fixing this" made my day. 🥐🥰
