SheCodes guided me through some muddy waters in React, and without Matt's guidance, this would have taken me a lot longer to learn and many more broken API keys would be mine.
I read about shecodes on instagram and i attend free demo session as well and found quite different from other courses which are available online and decided to start the course with shecodes.After attendending week 1 lessons and come up wth the conclusion that it is not only good but the excellent course ever .Doing coding challenges is actually fun. I really appreciate Matt, He is doing fantastic job.Thank You shecodes.

Yes, learning to code can be hard at times. You are learning a NEW LANGUAGE :) Thankfully Matt shows you step by step what to do and what NOT to do. Between the Slack student help channel and being able to rewatch videos as much as needed you can and WILL eventually figure it out and it will make sense. Take a break but do NOT give up! :)

I started my coding journey just 2 months ago and I can't believe I made it through all 4 courses. Finishing has a lot do to with the system SheCodes provides, like the fast and helpful responses from the team, the challenges, the homework with deadlines, the projects and a very enthusiastic Matt. Most of the time it felt like bob sliding, high speed through the curves, gravity pulling you from left to right and back again. Reaching the finish line and looking back, I just realize how much I learned during the past two month. It felt so good to be challenged and grow. I feel motivated to build my own apps now and very grateful to SheCodes.
I`ve just finished Basic Coding class, and I want to say: it`s amazing! I was afraid that it could be too difficult for me, I don`t understand anything or even it would be boring. But Matt is very talented teacher, the whole information was given to us in very interesting way, it was like a game for me, not boring classes! I tried HTML before but dropped the course within an hour because I could not understand anything the tutor said. I decided to give it a go for the second time. Matt made the course enjoyable and I could understand clearly everything he was tutoring us.
I really liked the course SheCodes Responsive. Everything was interesting and exciting. The material is presented simply and concisely. Matthieu's lectures are just wonderful!!!
My experience with coding was limited to messing with MySpace almost 20 years ago but after going to the free coding class I felt confident that I would achieve more through SheCodes. The pace of the lessons is perfect for me and I love how more resources are linked if we wanted to dig even deeper. I'm excited to keep learning with Matt and the SheCodes team!
I had a lot of fun working through the different practice problems and seeing everything come together in the homework assignments at the end of each week. Every lesson builds upon the last in a neat, stepwise progression that makes learning feel like a bit of a challenge but not difficult. I appreciate how the answers aren't provided but that students are given the information they need to "Google it" and come to workable solutions on their own. Bonus? My daughters think I'm cool now :) That said: I encountered an issue when submitting my first week's homework assignment that has left me troubled. I replicated the provided example but, after review, I was notified that my homework was incomplete; when I checked to see what the problem could be, the link I had previously followed to the example opened a differently-formatted page. I went to Slack to ask if I would be required to reformat my homework despite my submission being a faithful representation of the original example and was answered with a request to post my question in another channel of slack because it was a "technical" problem; because the turnaround time for answers was slow (an as-advertised ~48hr) and I didn't want to wait (and I want to learn), I went ahead and reformatted the assignment. Still, I have two problems with this: 1. Assignments that require students to copy (nearly exactly) an example document should not be graded in comparison to example documents that did not exist at the time the assignment was completed. 2. A support team should provide support, not direct questions to different channels and then definitions of what "technical" means, even if it does mean something different (and so vague as to be meaningless) to them. I asked a question of the support team that pertained to a philosophical question, not a technical question: Considering that I submitted an assignment based upon an incompletely formatted example (that was available to me), would I be required (by the SheCodes team) to continue formatting my assignment to match an example that did not exist (to my eyes) until after I had submitted my assignment? When I indicated that my question was not technical in nature (I had no difficulties creating a document, coding a document to match the example available to me, or submitting a document), I was told that, essentially, all questions are technical questions and if I want an answer I should submit my questions to the proper channel. This is not a free course and it is alarming to me to be paying for support and receiving resistance, instead. Just an FYI. I am learning a lot, but I am someone who enjoys the Googling and searching and fiddling. If I were taking this course with the idea of getting (and receiving) much support from the support team, I'm not sure how that would be going.
Matt is a very good teacher. He gives you just the right amount of information, so that it's both doable and challenging. It has been a joy to participate.

I would highly recommend this program to any woman who wants to explore the tech field! It is a βββββ 5-star program. The people who help answer the questions, and help you get up and running are AMAZING!! The only experience I have is answering emails and browsing YouTube. I was extremely impressed with Matt the instructor. His teaching skills are in another dimension. βI have learned so much. There is a volume of support because of the way that this program is designed and run. I would recommend this program for its simplicity and quality.

I am so grateful that I signed up to this amazing course. I am a Chilean, living in Germany, I have a degree in Business Management but I am not passionate about it. When by chance of life this workshop appeared on the internet, it caught my attention and I did it out of curiosity. Now I am thinking of studying Front End Developer since I have loved it. This workshop was a lot more confusing to me than the other three ones but it definitely allowed me to learn and grow more from this workshop. I found React difficult but it's nice watching and then learning the different lessons Matt provided us. So sad I'm officially done with SheCodes

SheCodes Responsive workshop is definitely one of my challenging, yet favorite one. I took a lot of time to finish this project, but at the same time, it was very interesting! Matthieu Delac's teaching skills, the tons of information to learn and practice he provides, to the guidance of the supporting team (shout out to JoΓ£o, Vlada, and Paul) have been incredible! It's a pleasure to see the final result and to know what I accomplished in the 5 weeks(creating my portfolio website with multiple pages that are responsive !) I've already enrolled in the React Course and am excited about the workshop! The SheCodes journey has elevated my desire to learn more, and practice my skills in real-life projects. Definitely would recommend this course!

Have always been interested in web development and coding in general. This has absolutely made me enjoy learning the beginning basics of it. SheCodes Basic is a frontend web development course for beginners. Matt is really good at explaining and you can always go back, rewatch the videos, read up details using the provided references and resources. If you are interested in web development and don't quite know where to start, this course is a great entry point.
I had so much fun completing SheCodes Basics, Matt's explanations were really clear and I truly enjoyed having challenges to put my skills to test :) No need to say I'm 100% ready for more! π

As a complete beginner, I started my coding journey with SheCodes in April 2022, which was purely coincidental. I can't believe I've come all the way to completing the React course! The videos are super fun and informative, as Matt guides you step-by-step on what you should be doing. Even 30 minutes a day will help you get a long way.

I had a great experience of coding! This is like a magic for me, when I write something and then, almost immediately, can see the result on the screen. I did it! It was not so easy, but Responsive course is worth of studying definitely! Video lessons are still simple, but Matt give the most useful, important information (especially, links and documentation as reference sources). Anyway when you know your direction, it's easier to achieve a goal!

This next course SheCodes Plus is more difficult, than the previous one, but also more interesting! Coding can be a real challenge, but it can give you new knowledge about how all this stuff working, it's amazing! Matt and the whole team are great teachers and helpers. It was very interesting and awesome 8 week cource. It was may be a little bit complicated for beginner in some chellanges but solved these chellanges was very useful and interesting. Besides I'm totally in love with SheCodes - I really appreciate Matt's method to teach us to build code correctly step by step and to check every single step in order to be aware that this current line of code is working correctly. And only then make it more and more sophisticated. Can't stop adore this course with every new lesson. It inspires. It's not boring. It's awesome. I find myself striving and craving to know more and more. The way the information is given. The way the lessons are built. The way the Matt is explaining every single and not understandable element, method, argument and so on. After other bootcamps I put aside so much stuff "to understand later" to figure out, but not in SheCodes case. Nothing can be taught, everything can only be learned. But with Matt's attitude it is absolute pleasure and inspiration to take the knowledges in his way of thinking.
