I did the 3 weeks workshop and I wanted to learn, practice and to know more about coding. This learning experience has been better than I ever expected. It really challenged me. With online workshops sometimes is hard to stay motivated, but the challenges, the homeworks, the SheCodes team and the Slack chat makes it easy. The SheCodes team provides all the support that we need during the all workshop and Matt is a great instructor. I loved it and look forward to the next workshop.

This was a great way to learn! I love that you were able to do real examples after every lesson so you could make sure you truly understood the material. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants to learn how to code.

SheCodes give me the opportunity to finally start learning some code. I never though an online course would capture my full attention and that I could really learn without having the teacher in front of me. I love the short videos and the subsequent immediate practice.

I am used to block based programming since that is what I used to teach. I took this course wanting to build confidence with my text based programming skills and I believe this course helped me to gain confidence in coding. I appreciated the broken down assignments that built on skills learned. I especially loved being able to work on my own schedule.

I was an absolute beginner to coding and I loved this style of teaching. Matt is great with explaining everything in great detail and was easy to follow along. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone wanting to learn something new!

I had some free time and wanted to learn new skills. I always wondered how coding worked, thanks to the SheCodes workshop I now have a better idea! I really enjoyed building my own pages. Coding is a way to be creative and with the final project I got to be on full-creative mood... and I loved it. I highly recommend it.

I absolutely loved this SheCodes workshop! Throughout the 3 weeks, I felt that I was part of an active community between the other students and the SheCodes team, all willing to help each other in this fascinating journey of coding :) I really liked the lessons where Matt explained everything in a simple, yet meaningful way with even tips of what developers are doing currently. Also, I am a 100% hands-on person when it comes to learning, so having a challenge for each lesson plus the homework each week helped me a lot to fully understand the basics of HTML, CSS and JS :) Lastly, I love emojis :p I highly recommend SheCodes, and I am looking forward to signing up for more advance workshops in the near future!

SheCodes is what got me (a former computer engineering student) LOVE coding again! , it also is giving me hope for a more flexible future so I can be there for my family too.

This was a great workshop. It takes you by the hand and explains the basics very well, giving you the foundation to build upon your coding knowledge on your own. I have been wanting to learn coding for a while, but always felt I was missing a structured way of diving into these languages. I loved the structure of these lessons! Just wished there were more :)

As a beginner into coding, I benefitted greatly from Matt's step-by-step teaching through his videos. The lessons are bite-sized so I was never overwhelmed by information in a single seating. The challenges after each lessons are a great help in refreshing my memories and a big help in putting the lessons into actual practice. The moderator(s) on Slack were also super efficient in answering all sorts of questions I encountered during my learning journey. I love how feedback were given after each homework submission so I know what I did wrong in the process.

I love this workshop! I had a lot of fun and even after I thought I would not get it the classes and the patient teachers let me the time to let it click into place in my head! Within 7 days I learned the fundamental basics of building a cool website and cannot await the next workshop SheCodesPlus!!!! I want to start it immediately and can recommend everyone this workshop!

I have absolutely loved my journey with SheCodes thus far. The lessons are digestible, interesting, and activity-based, making it easier to learn as you go. Coming from a background in UX Design, this program was the perfect first step to learn about the world of code - particularly to strengthen my relationship with the Developers on my team. I tried to learn coding a few years ago on my own and it ended with me in tears and feeling like a failure. I was totally turned off of coding from the experience. Now, I have completed SheCodes introductory course and it was very stress free! Everything was explained in a way where an absolute beginner like myself could understand it without any trouble. I have a new found love for coding and I will continue to build on this skill!

I did a SheCodes Workshop last year and loved it so much, I decided to apply to SheCodes Plus. I wanted to practice more, to know more about code and the logic behind it. It complements my work as a copywriter perfectly, it is challenging, but the instructors provide the space for dialogue and learning. Loved it and look forward to more code in my life.

This course has made learning how to code so fun and exciting. I've always been hesitant on taking coding bootcamps due to lack of time but I absolutely love how this is structured to be for people who are in school or in the workforce full time. Matt explains things in a clear and concise way and the real time assistance via Slack gives me reassurance for whenever I run into issues. I'm looking forward on upgrading to the next workshop!

HIGHLY recommended! In the beginning, I was just curious about coding and I didn't want to go deeper into the topic. After this workshop, I want to continue learning more and more. This three-week course didn't only give me a good basic introduction of front-end development to enhance my UX Designer role, but also made me find out how cool a SheCodes online workshop is! I really loved the workshop! Matt is a great teacher and is so passionate about what he does! Although my background is in finance, I absolutely loved learning about coding. Coding to me sounded very complex at the beginning. But after completing the three week workshop, i can say that i understand coding much better now and that I have successfully coded my first webpage using HTML, CSS and Javascript! Uau! This workshop was such an adventure! I loved every part of it... There is something really unique and special about coding and seeing one's ideias become reality with a "simple" line of code. I know what you are thinking... "SIMPLE?? Hummm Hummm...Have you forgotten about "addEventListener" or "function whatIsWrongWithMyCode"???" No I haven´t! And yes, I will have to admit that it was not that simple all the times... Therefore I shall rephrase it to "challenging yet adventurous!" There is something really unique and special about coding and seeing one's ideias become reality with a "challenging yet adventurous" line of code (Indeed, much more accurate!) But in the end, I really enjoyed this workshop and I can´t wait to learn more about coding. I am pretty sure that I´ve made my team of Developers proud! This was my first coding class and I loved the format! Getting to move at my own pace but being held accountable for weekly deadlines was really motivating without being overwhelming. I also loved being able to leverage Slack when needed for help on assignments or just to see whether others were encountering the same challenges I had. SheCodes is a true community!

I loved how every video at SheCodes focused on a different topic, making it really easy to follow or go back when in doubt. Both the explanations and videos complemented each other really well. I had some prior knowledge of coding, but now I can say I understand more in-depth what I do thanks to each and one of the exercises. Although I did not have to use Slack much for doubts, it felt great to know I could ask anything when in need. I am very happy to have enrolled in this course at SheCodes and definitely looking forward to the next ones. I feel more motivated than ever to continue with my coding skills. I love how beginner friendly the SheCodes Express Workshop is. The information is presented in a way that is easy to understand. Also the resources and programs used throughout the course made coding less intimidating, which I greatly appreciated. I definitely recommend this workshop for first time coders.

I absolutely loved this course! I came into it knowing a little HTML but still felt like I learned leaps and bounds more. The HTML and CSS were by far my favourite part. they were fun to watch and I loved the challenges. I wish javascript had focused less on alerts/prompts and much more on functionalities you see on websites you use now. I know what we learned can be applied to other functions but still feel not sure how I would apply them. That's really my gripe about the course. The project was really fun and wish there was more!

I learned so much from this workshop and I wasn't expecting to become a developer. It was always my dream job though, so SheCodes help me make this happen and now I can't wait to continue my journey to become a full stack developer, with all the beautiful people that are behind this awesome project! My first workshop with SheCodes was great! I've been looking to learn coding for a long time now, and this was the perfect place to start. Super informative, and easy to get help when needed. I loved it and am excited to build on what I've learned!

I saw an add for SheCodes online and it instantly caught my eye. I currently work as a Business Analyst within an IT Dept and was looking to learn some extra skills. It's been almost 15 yrs since I learned any type of HTML and I was worried I wouldn't be able to squeeze it into my busy schedule. However SheCodes breaks each lesson into digestible parts which allows you to complete them throughout the day at your own pace. I love the Slack community and found it extremely helpful to search when I needed assistance. The challenges for each lesson and homework due each week was very beneficial and helped keep me on task! I enjoyed working on my project and discovered I truly love working with the design of websites. The feeling of accomplishment I get from completing this course is very inspiring and I think I have found my new favorite hobby that is actually productive. Who knows what the future holds! Thank you Matt and Team for creating such an professional and inclusive workshop!

What a great way to learn! I really loved the accountability. It was so important for me to finish my homework every week and make sure I really understood the content. I've completed tons of my homework before - I have a Bachelor's and my MBA - but it's been awhile! The content was broken down in easy chunks, but also gave you enough challenge that you had to push yourself. A great way to learn the basics.

The workshop was very informative, I loved learning something new in each lesson. It was also reassuring to know that help was just a click away when needed. I definitely will be taking more courses in the future. Thank You for creating such an amazing program.

I am 26 and had a child at 15. Our life has been a ride. I have been a server for well over 8 years and never have I ever thought about coding until our state went into lockdown and everyone including me lost our jobs. It was and still is quite scary but signing up for SheCodes has empowered me in a way I have never been able to reach before. I loved the entire course and I woke up bright and early every morning to finish my homework and study on my own time. Matt is a personable instructor that took the edge off learning something completely new and intimidating. I came into this with absolutely no knowledge of coding. And now I'm hooked. I am so proud of myself for trying something completely new and daunting and I really believe everyone can feel this way too. Thank you for such a fun and informative course!

I started SheCodes with no prior coding knowledge. I had tried online learning for other subjects in the past and didn't have much success; I thought I was just someone who could only learn in person. I had this interest in coding and I decided to aplly to the SheCodes Workshop and I loved the workshop. It's possible for someone without any background to learn how to code. Matt is a great teacher and his videos are really easy to understand and the challenges allow you to put in practice what you learn in each session. It's a great way to start coding.

I have loved doing this workshop and I am glad I took this opportunity. I would highly recommend it as it is a great starting point for anyone who would like to get more familiar with Coding. It helps understanding better what coding is and figuring out if this is actually what you thought it was. I love the way it is organised: a small video per topic and a challenge/exercise at the end of each one. In this way it allows you to learn and immediately put into practice what you are studying.

I learned to code at school, but it had been a while since I stopped. A real pleasure to be able to learn and challenge myself thanks to SheCodes. Simple to understand, clear explications even if english is not your first language. Looking for answers by yourself on websites and not having all the answers was challenging and I loved that !

Great course, easy to follow and quite a lot of exercises and this allows you to really absorb the concepts and knowledge! For the price point and time frame, I think you will find no other course this good! Loved it!
