SheCodes Plus was very challenging, but also very rewarding. I've absolutely loved this course and highly recommend it. The key thing for me is how Matt teaches you the 'tricks of the trade' as he goes and shows you how real coders do it, not just teaching you the code in isolation of the real world. I've found Matt really easy to follow, pace is perfect, and I've been shocked at how much I have learnt in just 10 hours! I was skeptical of an online course (as I struggle to keep motivated usually) but the videos are short and manageable, and there are fun challenges after each one, with instant solutions. It's very inspiring and the tools and community are excellent too - if you need help, it's there 24/7. Can't wait to move on to the 4 month course!

At first, I was a bit scared because I come from a completely different background and thought I was never gonna able to keep up, but as the lessons progressed I was not scared anymore because they were easy to follow and the community always answered all my questions. I enjoyed this workshop so much! I hold a PhD in Neurobiology and I was an absolute beginner before starting this workshop. I thought my brain won't be able to get how to code. I am truly amazed how quick we learnt and what we are already able to do! True, we still have a lot to learn (so google will be your best friend for a while :D ) but it is also so addictive. I am definitely going to continue with SheCodes Plus, I am so excited!! I love your approach, it is totally fitting how I like to work and learn: the deadlines, the interactions on Slack, everything is so well-organised! I have already recommended it to my friends. SheCodes Workshop was a great intro to coding. As a full time mom to a toddler, and working a full time+ job, I don't have a ton of free time. The SheCodes time frame allowed me to work a little bit each day to complete the challenges and homework, which I really appreciated! I loved the structure of the short videos, which allowed me to absorb the content and build on what I learned in the previous videos. The slack channel was a big help as well when I would get stuck on something. In the end, I am proud of my work and what i've learned in the intro class, and look forward to continuing on with my coding journey! Thanks SheCodes :)

Im soo happy with this course! I love the way it is designed and Matt is a great teacher. It kept me motived all the time, even when I was super tired I wanted to seat and learn more. In addition, I've been coding every day in the last months, so now is part of my routine. I managed to do it at night, with a full time job and a toddler at home. 100% recommended it!

Coming from a different background I thought that I will never be able to enjoy or understand coding. The learning parts were easy to understand, challenges piqued my interest and the solution parts were fun and gave me a-ha/wow moments. The learning curve in this workshop was incredible! No question left unanswered thanks to the lovely post challenge solution videos, which are always reassuring after some of the most challenging moments. Feels unreal to have coded all this project when a few weeks ago i had no clue about anything. There are still some areas I would like to improve in my projects but thanks to this workshop I actually feel capable of doing so!
The past two years I`ve been looking forward to becoming a Front-end developer, thus, besides my studies I was in the search of a challenging and affordable course that will cover the basics of web development, in fact, this is how i found SheCodes. The workshop has a clear, interesting structure, while Matt Delac has a unique, easy way of teaching and what I loved the most is the practical side of every lesson, as well as the Slack software which allows to share experience with other girls and receive helpful advice from the engineers team.
I enjoyed the workshop very much. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to explore a different field. It has expanded my horizons and presented me with a new skill set that I would love to grow!

I would highly recommend SheCodes! I enjoy analytical and puzzle solving tasks, and out of interest took up learning basic code in my free time, where a passion was sparked! I love seeing the immediate products of inputting code correctly vs incorrectly, and fully controlling the output of my work. The SheCodes beginners workshops have been a great kick-start and enabled me to build on and make greater sense of some of my initial knowledge.
I cannot even put into words how this experience has changed my outlook on the direction I want my career to take and what a great boost it has given to my confidence levels. I have always viewed Tech industry as a dark horse that is very exciting but also scary and unreachable at the same time. After learning coding basics from the free class (hey, I thought I have nothing to lose but an hour of my time π ) and seeing how many women completed the workshops, I thought to myself, "If they can do it, surely so can I!". So I did and absolutely loved it, not only I discovered that coding ideally suits my personality and mindset, but also that I'm pretty much into the design side of things. Matt and the team provide a very safe and supportive learning environment where things are well explained and provide you with plenty of opportunities to practice yourself. Can't wait to learn more! π
That was quite a ride! Right off the bat, I can say that Iβm not mastering React (yet), but I can ensure that these weeks of learning React were a great start to put myself into this learning process. I like how recorded lessons were raw and that Matt showed the whole process (without editing it out) and the challenges he was facing along the way. One thing Iβd love to see in the future is more courses for different project types. I guess Iβm saying that because I really enjoyed the classes, and I wish I could stay for a bit longer, diving even deeper into coding with the SheCodes team :) Thank You ALL - Matt, SheCodes Team, and all Ladies!

I never taught I could even learn coding! But Shescodes and MattΒ΄s detailed lessons are so good that it becomes any easy task. I loved that the videos are all very shorts, and give you the opportunity to practice what you just learned right away. It has been a great workshop and IΒ΄m definitely in for the Shecodes Plus. Trust me, coding is FUN!
The past 3 weeks have been so much fun! I never knew coding could be so easy to learn. This course has REALLY subverted my expectation of what coding would be like. I am generally very artsy and love to be creative and this provided me with a wonderful creative outlet, as well as such useful tools for marketing and building websites. I would absolutely recommend and encourage any woman to try this course.

I was planning to do this workshop for a year and I am more than glad to have the chance to be part of this. I went to a Technological School when I was a teenager and graduated in IT but at that time, because a lot of reasons, I just hated it. But now I see it in a completely different way and I love it! SheCodes Workshop helped me to reminder what I've learned in the past and made me start to love coding! I will definitely join the other courses!
I love the workshop. In the beginning, I was scared of not being able to understand but it was a nice and smooth way to get close to the programming concept and techniques. As you start learning you get more excited and you want to learn more.
I have loved every minute of this workshop. The exercises after the lessons really helped with integrating what I learned. This was one of the best Β£60 I've ever spent. I had so much fun, learned so much new stuff and will probably (definitely) do SheCodesPlus (at least). I'm amazed at how well Matt is able to explain what is essentially learning a new language in 3 weeks. It all made sense and I feel he gave us the right amount of info at the right time, building knowledge in a clear way with every new lesson. Just loved it.

Starting with only very basic HTML and CSS knowledge, I can't believe how far I've come with SheCodes! Although it was tough at times, I loved every second of the projects and tutorials. I've always wanted to learn how to code, so when I saw an ad for these workshops I was immediately excited. The platform and the way the workshops are made, are mostly self explanatory and even if you have questions, there's space to ask them. Next to all of that I loved the community of all the women learning how to code. No questions were invalid and I felt empowered by reading everyone's story.
The workshop was really nice! I love it! I had never had contact with these contents, and I understood and made the challenges and the final project with ease. All thanks to the way of teaching that Matt applies. That was just the beginning of a lot of study for a new career. Thanks, SheCodes!
