One month ago, I never imagined that one day I will be part of this community and now here I am. I am so happy and so proud that I am part of the SheCodes, even if it hasn't been so long since I started. One thing I am sure, I did not regret applying for this class and I will never regret it because SheCodes made me discover this new world, and I like it. I finally found what I'd been looking for and what I wanted to do. I am planning to go further and work harder not to let go of this opportunity that you "Shecodes" has given to me. I came to this workshop with a very basic level of coding experience so most of it was a refresher and I absolutely loved it because it reawakened in me a passion for this work. I'm super proud of myself for completing the first workshop and can't wait to move on to the next! I found the courses easy to follow and the challenges just challenging enough. I like that Matt encourages you to seek out the answers for yourself.

It was a challenging yet fun experience. I loved learning and making things work.
I had some struggles throughout this course but I was always able to find my way around! All of that thanks to all the videos and resources we are offered. It is also great to be able to check out what others have done, so you can learn different methods and better analyse your own. I am still impressed at how much I have gotten into coding! I am extremely pleased with the SheCodes Responsive course. After completing SheCodes Plus, I was hesitant about continuing but thankfully I kept going. This course focuses on creating responsive websites. Because it builds on previous knowledge, I noticed that each time I was faster at creating websites. I really loved creating my own portfolio and sending it to friends and family so they could check with any device. Thank you!

SheCodes was the workshop that I needed to kickstart my journey of learning to code. It has a great structure which makes things easy to learn step-by-step and lessons are bite-size so it's easy to remember. I love the fact that there are real-life projects at the end of the course because it really helps with applications rather than just full-on memorisation work. Appreciate the SheCodes Slack community as well because the community really helped when I faced issues with some lessons.

I loved learning about the power React holds. The lessons are short but hold enough information for you to grasp a certain concept. I keep being amazed by how much I love coding, because Matt and his team know what is exciting about coding and know how to not overwhelm you with too much information about the subject at once!! I will definitely join new courses if they ever make any other!

Coding always seemed like it would be too complicated for me to pick up before I found SheCodes. All the classes were very well explained and the challenges really help you to wrap your head around the different skills. I never expected to learn as much as I have, and I'm pleasantly surprised that not only am I capable of coding but I love it!

I loved all the four courses I took, although I got the most out of the Basics and the Plus workshops, which were most impactful. They aren't overpriced and you definitely get the initial knowledge needed to feel confident starting your new career.

I was hooked from the very first moment I started this course. It was a great learning experience that I enjoyed a lot. I loved the fact that I could learn independently whenever I found the time beside my work. I didn't believe I would enjoy learning to code that much.
I was totally new to coding and thought it was going to be too difficult to get my head around at first, but each step was explained really well. I wanted to learn something new to add to my skill set and now have the basics down. Once you get the hang of what you're doing it's really fun being able to design your own webpage. I love the flexibility and being able to go at your own pace within each week. The support system between coders and the SheCodes team is really strong and its a nice place to go and ask help if you're ever stuck on anything. Definitely recommend to anyone contemplating it🤍

Before even graduating from both Basic & Plus workshop I had already recommended this to several of friends.. I think it's a great workshop, very informative, helpful and loved the pace it delivers. If you're a beginner or have a bit of background it helps you put it all together.
I started off with Basics and now here I am in Plus preparing myself for React. I am so enthralled with coding and Matt gives such clear, concise instructions that it's hard not to feel like a professional programmer. Initially, I wanted to understand syntax a bit better. I was having a hard time with SQL + Python in my data science/analytics program and needed to step back to reevaluate my approach. Codecademy gave me a bit of insight as far as hands on, but there was no one there to explain it to me. So, I decided to give this a shot. I don't regret it at all. I absolutely love the workshops and highly recommend them.

Hello my name is GeorVonni (jor-von-e) and after the pandemic hit, losing a dream driver job of mine after completing CDL school to then, only lose it due to my work vehicle being vandalized it seemed there was nothing to look forward to outside of my personal hobbies of making music and running my first e-commerce store and being an artist. Dreading having to possibly go back into customer service (though a wonderful field) the typical "9-5" environment is something I've been out of for a while. I've always loved technology and my father a Marine Vet had me computer literate at 3, so when I stumbled onto SheCodes everything just made sense and I was so excited to start the program right after the free 60 minute showcase. I love that this is geared towards women and with the way tech is going now into the future.. coding is one of the most brilliant investments a woman or anyone for that matter can get into. I will be continuing this SheCodes journey at my own pace and will spread the good word to any woman who will listen and I hope to be able to teach children from what I learn here.
I started this as a taster to the tech industry and it was a highly enjoyable course. I absolutely loved the content and pace it was delivered. If you are wanting to give coding a go I would tell you to "sign up now!".

I enjoyed furthering my knowledge of JavaScript and loved being able to pull live data using API calls. I also like the challenges and homework. It really helps to demonstrate what I've learned. Thoroughly enjoying this course so far. It is a lot of fun, and I love that I can learn around my full time job. Lessons are informative and effective although can be a little tricky to get my head around JavaScript at times but I guess it is to be expected! Looking forward the next few weeks of learning!
I loved every minute of this course and can't believe how much I have learnt in only three weeks! Whenever I had questions, they were answered quite fast, eventhough the course was completely online.
I extremely enjoyed working on Responsive website, I was able to put all the knowledge together and experience what is developing a full website. I highly recommend it. You will love it.
I first found SheCodes through an Instagram ad for a free coding class. I worked in Digital Service Design and wanted to increase by technical knowledge to allow me to offer better services. After completing the class I could feel myself falling in love with the process. I signed up for the Pro workshop package, and have a future goal of being able to offer web & app development services to small businesses.

I really loved the SheCodes Plus course!! Definetely more challenging than the Basic Course and this is where things start to get (really) serious but also more fun :) you will learn more usefull knowledge and have the feeling you are really starting to code profissionally, so greatly recommend to continue this path after the first course and jump right to SheCodes Plus! You won't regret it :D

I've had a great time working on SheCodes Plus! It's definitely much more challenging than the Basics workshop, but I've loved it and really enjoyed pushing myself. I've been learning coding on and off for the past year and it's only since joining SheCodes that I actually find myself engaged and really feeling like i'm getting it! I can't wait to do the React and Responsive courses next.
This was the best decision I’ve ever taken!!! I had joined SheCodes Basics because a friend recommended me to try out coding and turns out I fell in love with it. It's been an amazing experience to get to learn all the material Matt has provided. The biggest challenge was JavaScript. But even when it appears to be overwhelming, Matt does an amazing job breaking it down. I had plenty of material to reference. The video material was also not so dense. This meant I could easily refer back to them when I needed to review information. I absolutely loved this program!
Learning to code has been on my To-Do list for the longest time. I finally took the leap and I'm so glad that I did! Not only are the videos in a learning style that I thrive on. It builds upon past steps so it's not a flood of information overwhelming the learner. If you're a person who enjoys puzzles, you'll love coding and seeing what you can create!

I loved having the freedom to take classes at my own pace. I feel like I still have a long way to go in coding but this course has given me the tools to take the first steps. This "basic workshop" also gave me the necessary push to look for a improvement in my career.

I loved doing the 3-week program! I had been contemplating a career change for a while but wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do or how I was going to go about it. When I tuned in for the free class with Matt, I was instantly hooked. I could try it, see if I liked it, and if I did I'd have the option to continue my learning. After completing the third week and finishing my project, I already want to learn more to get even better! I love SheCodes and would definitely recommend trying it out for anyone on the fence.
I loved all the SheCodes courses that I took, although I definitely got more out of the Basics workshop and the Plus workshop than I did from the React workshop, and that is probably because it is a newer course. I highly recommend SheCodes for anyone who is unsure if coding is something they want to do. These workshops are fairly priced and give you great insight on what coding is all about!
