Really great, I loved the creativity of the course! Makes coding fun! They guide you through each step of learning to code HTML, CSS and Javascript. It's great because you get to appreciate all the websites you use everyday!
Really enjoyed working through all the SheCodes Workshops, my confidence has grow so much. I'm looking forward to using all the knowledge and skills i have gained on future projects. I've had great support from all the staff at SheCodes and loved the structure of the lessons and putting together projects. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who is thinking about it.

I really enjoyed this Workshop and can recommend it to anyone interested in this area. It is so well structured and explained! Sometimes it got a bit hard like any new subject can be, but help was always accessible and at the end I really felt good about my project. I especially like that some elements are being repeated in different ways which is so important and helps so much with getting used to the structure and functions of the code. Matt has such an awesome way of explaining and most importantly he implements a very nice work and making-mistake ethic! Loved it.
Love how Mat was able to make Reactive so intuitive and user-friendly. Also they way he guides you so candidly through the process of the portfolio project was paramount to capturing the objective of this workshop.

I remember doing a coding class in college, but the instructor was not patient with beginners and I honestly didn't take anything away from the class. However, SheCodes made learning very easy to remember. I loved the layout of this bootcamp; going through lessons, then challenges, lastly the solution. It made me rely on my problem solving skills a lot more. I only used Slack one time; everything else I found via Google. It really is a coders best friend!

I was a former college woman's basketball player and towards the end of my senior year, I was blessed enough to stumble upon the free class that SheCodes was offering. I've always loved puzzles, solving problems, and creativity so once I took the class, discovered how interested I was in coding and creating different bodies of work. I was a student so I was able to receive a discount that really helped me be able to take the class. Five months later, I am now graduated and finished with my 3rd workshop! I really loved this workshop. This workshops I would say has been my favorite workshop so far because I was able to build websites and applications that are responsive and this was actually a big deal to me so itβs a great great advantage. I really loved how this class is presented and structured. The challenges after each section really helped me retain and understand everything really well and it was really nice to have Slack available for any questions. I watched all the videos of the class and passed 3 weeks as well, I did all the challenges and projects of the end of per section. I love codingπ so thank you SheCodes, also I suggested this workshop to my sister and her friend, because this workshop is very useful and conveyed information easily. I learned html, CSS and JavaScript in just 3 weeks.

I loved every minute of this workshop! By far the best online classes I have followed so far. It is very fun to see a direct result of your new skills learned with each chapter. Very easy to follow and with a good balance of explanations and exercise, with the exercises having the exact right difficulty. When struggling, the community of fellow students in the digital tools makes it feel like you are not alone and you can get help whenever you get stuck. Looking forward to follow up with the more advanced workshop and improve these newly learned skills!

This was one of my favorite courses so far! I loved to be able to create and design my own portfolio to showcase the work I've done so far. I enjoyed playing around with the endless possibilities of Bootstrap and CSS to make my portfolio as responsive as possible. And as always, Matt was very clear and helpful in the videos. I loved the Basics course! I had absolutely zero knowledge when I first signed up for the course, but I am feeling really excited to continue my coding education! I'm planning to sign up for SheCodes Pro! The course structure is easily digestible and the challenges after every lesson make it so easy to learn as you go!
I had zero experience with coding and it is all so much clearer to me now! There are some tough concepts to learn, but Matt does a great job explaining them. I also love that I can watch the videos as many times as I need. I am a teacher and will teach coding to my students this year now that I feel more comfortable helping my students if and when they get stuck with our own programs.
I really loved this course. It was fun and Matt is amazing teacher! I just loved the flow of the course. It was organized in a way that made sense. However, I do have one criticism. In our homework and final project assignments, we were asked to do things that were not covered in the lectures at all. I appreciate being able to look things up on our own to make something work, but I wish that expectation had been set at the beginning of the course so it wasn't such a surprise.
I would recommend SheCodes to everyone who is interested in learning more about code. It's user friendly and gives you all the basics you need to start your career in coding. I also love the opportunity to connect with SheCodes Team and other students all over the world interested in code and learning from each other!
I really enjoy this course as I get to know more about the integration of api and learn a lot about javascript function, arrays, string, etc. Matt's instructions are very clear and encouraging. I think I love coding more and more after this course!

In truth, I initially enrolled in the course (SheCodes Basics) with a lot of skepticism about the capacity for an asynchronous, online course platform to be able to teach me something functional, as well as any sort of prospective for me to be able to take this new skill and make something out of it (and even potentially branching out into a new/evolved career). While I know I still have loads to learn, knowing that coding is a growing language that even experts who have been doing so for years still study and work on to improve their skills/language, I have become hopeful that this is, indeed, a field that I can actually get into, and continue to learn, expand, and explore rather than feel "stuck" in. Matt is a phenomenal teacher. I loved the way the learning platform was designed and each activity was scaffolded and chunked into smaller bits and gradually building up to a bigger project. I also loved how the final project allowed us to create what we were passionate about. (I definitely spent way too much time - WAY more than necessary ;) - to make every detail and design the way I wanted: with both information and knowledge gained from Matt's lessons, as well as searching on google on my own for things I actually wanted more of). After doing my final project and recognizing all the more that I could learn, I have decided to continue to learn, and maybe delve into some of the other advanced workshops offered through the program. Thanks so much, Matt, and everyone else on the team!
Very happy that I decided to sign up for this workshop. I love how helpful and convivial the SheCodes community is and very glad to be a part of it. It's amazingly fulfilling to learn and acquire new skills, especially when I've always been a self-professed "non-computer" person. This proves that anyone can give it a try and be pleasantly surprised.
I loved this course. Well worth it. It took me a little longer to finish since I have a job and other obligations, but it was so worth it. The challenges really drive the knowledge gained during the lessons home and I gained a lot of confidence from completing them. Highly recommend. I look forward to completing a more advanced course at a later time.

SheCodes is the first web development course I decided to take because I always wanted to learn how to build my own website. I really loved how the course was structured and how it motivated me to submit a homework every week and how it connected me with so many women, like me, learning how to code. Moreover, I loved Matt's way of explaining the course materials and I appreciated how he took his time to dissect difficult concepts. I truly enjoyed taking this course and I would definitely recommend it to every women wanting to learn more about web development and computer languages in general. We do need more women in STEM and SheCodes is helping us just do that :)

I've always been more of an outdoorsy nerd than a computer geek, but SheCodes might just convert me! I started the workshop with zero coding knowledge whatsoever and found it very easy to follow along with the lessons.
