I have loved the course, since the explanations are very well understood, the reinforcement workshops are very useful to practice and thus be able to carry out the workshop of each unit more easily, I have loved it.
My experience with coding was limited to messing with MySpace almost 20 years ago but after going to the free coding class I felt confident that I would achieve more through SheCodes. The pace of the lessons is perfect for me and I love how more resources are linked if we wanted to dig even deeper. I'm excited to keep learning with Matt and the SheCodes team!

I had so much fun learning the basics of coding with the SheCodes basics workshop. I have no previous experience in coding at all. This course made it so easy to follow and understand. I love that the lesson videos are broken into shorter digestible snippets and have challenges to check your understanding. I took this course to test the waters and see if it is the direction I would like to go career-wise. So far I am loving it! I can say that I will definitely be taking the next workshop to further expand my knowdelge of coding.
I really loved going through the steps to make our weather project more and more fleshed out and complete! It definitely wasn't easy, but I really feel like the course was able to help me grow.
I loved doing the basics class with SheCodes! It was so nice to go at your own pace and the classes were easy to follow. I took AP coding in high school and didn't understand it. This course was much more about how to say "girl" friendly. 5 stars in my book! βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
This might be my favorite course. Loved building my own portfolio. Absolutely polished my skills in CSS and HTML and learned new really useful techniques. Will 100% update my portfolio with my future projects and use it.

I've been meaning to start this course for a long time after first seeing it advertised on Instagram. I finally took the plunge and I'm really glad I did! I was interested in coding when I was a teenager and I was self taught and loved doing it back then but other priorities took over and I stopped practicing. A few lessons in and everything came back to me, like riding a bike! I can't wait to progress to the next workshop to expand my knowledge even further.
I am a Chilean, living in Germany, I have a degree in Business Management but I am not passionate about it. When by chance of life this workshop appeared on the internet, it caught my attention and I did it out of curiosity. Now I am thinking of studying Front End Developer since I have loved it. He showcases the material in a really easy to learn and digestible way and I get so much satisfaction from completing challenges, homework assignments and projects. Building your own website from scratch was such a rewarding experience! I love that this workshop gives such a strong backbone for how to create a clean, SEO friendly, responsive, functional website, yet still gives student the flexibility to let their imaginations run wild and design something totally unique. I also love that the SheCodes team always remind us that there isn't just 'one right answer' for a solution - this gives the students flexibility and a natural learning ability.

Besides I'm totally in love with SheCodes - I really appreciate Matt's method to teach us to build code correctly step by step and to check every single step in order to be aware that this current line of code is working correctly. And only then make it more and more sophisticated. Can't stop adore this course with every new lesson. It inspires. It's not boring. It's awesome. I find myself striving and craving to know more and more. The way the information is given. The way the lessons are built. The way the Matt is explaining every single and not understandable element, method, argument and so on. After other bootcamps I put aside so much stuff "to understand later" to figure out, but not in SheCodes case. Nothing can be taught, everything can only be learned. But with Matt's attitude it is absolute pleasure and inspiration to take the knowledges in his way of thinking.

Since starting I have fallen in love with learning how to code! I feel like at first coding sounded intimidating but once I really put my all into it and asked questions when needed it became eye-opening and fun!
I am so glad I started classes with SheCodes. I've wanted to switch careers for awhile now, but wasn't sure where to get started. My first SheCodes class was the motivation I needed. The class was easy to follow yet challenging at the same time. I enjoyed the bit-size lessons that fit into my schedule. I loved that Matt would sometimes throw in a challenge on a concept that he hadn't fully explained forcing me to problem-solve and evaluate the project as a whole. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone not sure where to start.
Really loved how complex things were explained in a simple manner. It gives you a power of understanding of the essence of your code and the feeling that there is no limits of what you can create knowing the rules. Started to notice that I check the notes less and less, synaxis becomes familiar, and you write the website as if you wrote an essay. Excited to see what's next!

SheCodes Plus is just what I have been looking for: very instructive short videos that motivate to learn to code. Now I seriously think of resigning from my job and becoming a FrontEnd developer. I just fell in love with coding.
Another great SheCodes course! I love how by each course, you get 'set loose' more and more. It is more challenging that way, but it also makes it more fun. Though the two React projects are technically done, I still want to play around with them more. Sometimes it was hard to reach the weekly deadlines (I also took the course during summer holiday), but it was easy to extend a week at a time. Some of the documentation for e.g. the dictionary API was not 100% up to speed, but it's understandable that that will happen quickly - it also makes the course more 'realistic' in a way, as I'm sure similar problems could happen in 'the real world'. The course is not comprehensible enough for me to now call myself a React developer, but there is definitely a good fit between duration, price and quality. Most importantly, it has made me get excited about React and learning more!

It was great to spend these 3 weeks learning the coding basics, I thought things were going to be harder to understand, but I totally loved it, I spent time building a website even using some coding I was not taught, this has changed my life and the perspective I had about coding, I will totally continue learning with SheCodes.

The content has been so easy to follow along and I love the fact that I can revisit any previous lessons at anytime! The courses are done at my pace and I am able to soak up all the content Matt puts out fully. I really enjoyed seeing my first project completed, it brought a great sense of accomplishment when I hit that 'submit' button.
My professional background has absolutely nothing to do with utilizing technical skills. The soft skills I've acquired over the years have allowed me to be successful and well-rounded in my current career. However, I have always been intrigued with how and why things work. Web design courses were offered to me in middle school and college, even though it was a love-hate relationship, I loved the experience of creating something instantly. My current position is detailed oriented and the correlation between that and the classes offered by SheCodes made sense for me to change career paths. Technology will always be around and I want to be apart of seeing the growth and development of it. SheCodes classes are simplified and easy to follow. Matt does a great job explaining how and why everything works. I wish I had invested into this sooner!

Just finished the basic coding course. Loved the way it was introduced and explained. Recommended. As a result, you'll get your first pet project, some knowledge in basic markup and JS front that helps you to understand if you need to go deeper or look in a different direction.
SheCodes Basic is a great journey in itself. I loved the way workshops are structured with challenges that give ideas for using the learnings from workshops on our own. I have learned so much about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in just 3 weeks. It's all about Learning by doing. After finishing SheCodes Basic I am feeling confident in my learning.
