Amazing class. I always though coming from a non-tech background, learning to code will be extremely difficult but going through the basic class at SheCodes helped me to learn easily and also practice with some degree of confidence. Matt Delac is a patient instructor also. He explains in such a way that it is difficult for you NOT to get it. I love coding. I love SheCodes 🤗

I really enjoy it and it's something that I would come back to. I love how I can be at my own pace and I learned more things than a few workshops that I did.

I had a lot of fun learning how to code with the SheCodes Basics workshop! The lessons are structured in a way that's easy to follow for absolute beginners like myself. They have a lovely community on Slack as well, with a helpful support team. I'd love to continue learning with SheCodes!

This is a great introduction to the world of coding to see what it is about for me as a healthcare worker. It definitely sparked interest to continue this journey. The program is interactive and manageable to learn lesson by lesson. Not overwhelming like some of the other courses. Love that there is a community of shared interests.

Woohoo! I did it. 👩🏾‍💻💜🚀 I passed and completed my coding course and I’m so happy. I haven’t looked at coding since studying it briefly 7 years ago at uni, so it’s safe to say I needed a refresh. I took the course to improve my digital design skills as this is the field I love and thrive in. I’m a very visual learner and this course was built in a way to take in information that is quite complex in a super engaging and interactive way. I had an amazing time learning with SheCodes. SheCodes is a very approachable way to stay in the code or learn code for the first time. Matt is seriously a great teacher - he explains concepts very clearly, simply and with repetition which is so helpful. I love the mission and the inclusive pace of the course.

Wow! I love SheCodes, and I was able to learn how to create my own portfolio and use past workshops Io my knowledge of CSS, HTML, and bootstrap to create it. I am so excited to continuously adjust my portfolio confidently. I can't wait for the next workshop!

I gained so much confidence in myself from this course. I loved the pace of this course and the flexibility it gave me within boundaries to succeed while working.

I loved it! Its super easy to undestande and you can do it at your own time, with no rush. But you still have deadlines so you don't get lost and keep working!

It has been a 3 week-long Rollercoaster! So much fun, but also frustration, brainstorms, failures.... But hey! That's how we learn, right? I enjoyed the workshop a lot, I love how creative I could be and how much I learnt in such a short period of time! I loved every second of this course! Matt's explanations and videos are super fun and easy to understand. And SheCodes team is always very supportive, so every time I got stuck I was able to find the answers on Slack app. The tasks and projects can be challenging but learning how to do them and acquiring new skills is an absolute joy. I think this is my best workshop so far because I can finally say I’m a frontend engineer, after learning react, state hooks and building two applications using react and node. I loved every bit of it I must say. Thank you SheCodes, Matt Delac and the entire SheCodes team.

I have always thought coding was hard to understand, but learning with SheCodes helped simplify everything from HTML to CSS and JavaScript. Now, I feel more confident to explore the field of software development after working on projects on the SheCodes platform. LOVED this workshop! I learned so much in a short period of time. Although a lot of content was covered, the lessons were clear and concise. Would highly recommend!

I can't believe how much I've learned already and how fun it has been to learn to code without being overwhelmingly challenging. I love that we can get extensions for the deadlines and work at our own pace so we can still learn while working a full-time job

Never in my wildest dreams would I think I would love something so much. I started off going to school to become a lawyer, but as also a Stay at home mom I soon realized I had other passions. I really love what SheCodes has taught me so far, I look forward to learning more in the near future.

SheCodes has been an amazing experience. I was a little hesitant at first, as I learnt to code in a statistical software during my masters, but I unfortunately did not enjoy the experience. Nonetheless SheCodes has been an amazing experience. The lessons are very interactive and Matt does an amazing job of breaking down the concepts related to HTML, CSS and Java Script. I loved the fact that staff & students were readily available to support with any questions that I may have regarding my code or certain topics. I have throughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who is interested in learning about the field of coding.

Loved SheCodes! It was a perfect intro for a busy mom because the videos were short - sweet - to the point and then they were followed with a challenge to use the topic just learned. It was so helpful to immediately apply the lessons as it demanded focus and didn't allow multi-tasking. Which most of us are guilty of!

I have been trying to find a coding course that i could stick to for about a year now. This. course doesnt waste your time on tangents, its all actionable items. I love thatafter each day you have skills that you can demonstrate. Highly recommend, and SheCodes radio is 10/10 as well.

I feel like I have learned so much in this course. Matt is able to break down the material in such a way that is easy to follow and understand. And if you are ever struggling with something, you are encouraged to ask for help. I love that. Was it challenging at times? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. Yeey, I finished the Responsive course! I’m still happy with SheCodes and this is my third course – only one more to go (the React course)! I love the flexibility around these courses, because I am working full-time and do my SheCodes coding in the evening and on the weekend. I love the SheCodes Platform, the support on Slack and the courses itself – Matt, with his french accent, is a sympathetic and funny teacher. Totally worth my time and my money. Thank you! 💗✌️

SheCodes Responsive was a fun and challenging workshop. I loved learning how to make the pages responsive and there are a lot of details to pay attention to which was nice because I am very detail-oriented! This program is very exciting and challenging - I love it! I started this journey from an absolute zero level and now I have a clear understanding of how web development works, and how websites are hosted and maintained. Thanks Matt. This was really helpful. The lessons are really well explained and progress logically. I told my friends and they have joined in and love it too. I've done other beginner courses and found I was completely bewildered because the "teachers" were techy savvy but had no idea how to teach. You make it accessible and fun!

When I first started this program I was a bit nervous because I thought the course was going to be hard. However, this program does a great job of breaking down concepts and making them more comfortable to learn. This program is very flexible, which I love, considering that life can get hectic at times. You can tell that SheCodes was crafted with consideration and care! I am very satisfied with my experience and will totally recommend anyone who wants to learn to start here.

This workshop was fantastic! I loved how each lesson built upon the previous one. Matt is a great teacher, he explains what he's doing and why he's doing it. After struggling with self-directed learning, I was looking for somewhere I could get more support and feedback and also keep me on track each week. I'm so glad I found SheCodes! I loved this workshop! I'm a female in the construction field, and was wanting to learn coding in order to build a website for my company. I learned so much in this course, and it was so easy to follow along. I even signed up for the SheCodes plus course because I can't get enough!

I decided to take this course to see if I could get the hang of something that has always interested me. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and worked as a Paralegal for an immigration law firm for many years before becoming a stay at home mom for a few years. I'm looking to kick start a new career and this is just what I needed to see if I could grasp the concept of coding and actually understand the basics. Thank you SheCodes! I fell in love with it! This was the first time I took a peek into the world of coding and wasn't sure what to expect. Now, after the the first course I have to say, it is a lot more fun then I though and have developed a genuine interest in the subject.
